well theres cheap ways to beat all the campaigns
like in the finale of no mercy we just chilled on the ledge behind the building where the radio is
nothing could hit us except boomer vomit and leaping hunters

Nice, Chac. You'll have to show us pics after you got it all set up.

Oh, speaking of TVs,

I met a new neighbor yesterday here at the apartments while I was taking out trash/getting mail. We started chatting and discovered we both have a PS3, and he immediately invited me over to see his entertainment set-up. And it kills. Dude has a 65' Panny Plasma that takes up half the wall and a surround sound system that I'm sure his neighbors will hate. (And I kinda wonder why anyone would have a sound system like that in an apartment where you'll never get it very loud without neighbors complaining anyway, but whatev.)

Anyway, I've never played on a HDTV larger than 46', so playing Motorstorm: PR on that 65' monster was awesome.

Then I went back home and played on my 32 incher and cried. Me want new TV.

When I started mucking around with expert for the hell of it, i started no mercy and went down the steps into the building. A standard infected swiped at me once. One hit. I was at 80 health. At that point, I said "No way, there's no way this would ever be fun, I've experienced it on advanced with a few friends and we got stuck trying to get through the sewers."

That was the beginning of the end for L4D in my book. 8\

L4D is super boring single player, and with most strangers.
With friends though, I really like it.
360 version.
It takes 723752 minutes to find someone hosting if I don't feel like opening a room. 9/10 times, it's someone halfway across the world. And they lag. And use people like E. Honda where they jump in, 100 hand slap, repeat.
I have the PS3 version and haven't had a problem online yet (OMG IMPOSSIBLE), a few have lag though (with strangers).

When I played with cags it was surprisingly good. I've never played a fighter online that was that smooth.

Getting my ass kicked by people with sticks.

I wish I could fight someone who would just jump in with E.Honda and try to hundred hand slap me. Instead I wind up going against Fei Long and getting raped from two directions at once.

its not that hard
its also fun when ur playin with friend and u get past a tough part
like when we were in the sewers and my cousin was the only one left and somehow he survived long enough for us to spawn :hot:

I got really lucky and picked up the pre-order only version of Prince of Persia with that box and blu-ray with the special features from the GS B2G1 sale. Didn't expect to find that at all.
I also got Endwar, and another copy of PoP for a friend.

...Mac gaming? Anyone?
Actually, aside from anything that came with my machine, I believe the only Mac-version game I have installed right now is StarCraft. I love Macs, but gaming is the main reason why I have a dual-boot OS X/Windows setup ;)

As long as Blizzard keeps doing it, I'll support Mac gaming. :p

Damn, but Gears 2 co-op is fun shit. I'm glad my friend is in town and we can actually run through the game and keep it from falling deeper into The Backlog.

Sometimes, Blizzard seems to be the only one doing it :|

I forgot to mention that Chapter 2 of Mirror's Edge is annoying.

I'm sure there will be more annoying bits, but
going down to the sewer
is needlessly frustrating.

That's totally cool with me, 'cause their games usually rock my socks.

When I visited my friend yesterday, his younger brother was over there. The kid has like 30 Playstation 3 games. It was insane. Like none of them were good, which made the idea of having 30 PS3 games seem even crazier.

I have 4.

Also, the Trauma Center games are awesome. I really love that stuff.

Yes, but only the first time. Growing pains.

After beating the game, and doing that level again on Hard. I don't believe I mis-jumped or fell once.

PS3:
Kill Bill Vol. 1
Kill Bill Vol. 2
Training Day
Blade Runner 5 disc Final Cut
2001
Full Metal Jacket
V for Vendetta
Goodfellas
Batman Begins
Blood Diamond

By the end of today, I should have 30 PS3 games and 15 360.
Still lots on my "to buy" list.

EDIT: Doesn't Training Day look horrible zew? I believe it's a gimped HD release.

All of those were free (besides Kill Bill).

I haven't got a chance to look at Training Day yet, because I haven't found a cheap PS3.

Most of those early Blu-Rays weren't very impressive.

I think Training Day is the worst of all. Believe there was some controversy as it was proven it wasn't really HD.

The rest of those though, I think look pretty good.

I need to buy more BD movies of stuff I actually love.
It's been a while.

I also want to get rid of a lot of them. I have nearly 50 or so.

I was going to buy Dark Knight on BD. But all Target had was the version with the mask... I wasn't paying an extra for something I don't want. I guess I'll check and see if they stock more when I working the overnight today. I can pick it up when I go on break.

I've been playing a little Naruto: UNS the last few days. I'm not really like the mission mode that much. They keep giving me fights with my opponents with speed and/or strength boosts which is pretty annoying sometimes. I could also do without the hub world as well. The village just feels so lifeless and getting around can be a chore.

I just buy BRs of select stuff. Nowadays, it's mostly family films for the kids and maybe some TV season collections of shows I don't get to watch real time in addition to faves of mine like Iron Man or TDK.

But I'm considering keeping my netflix sub going, to limit my movie purchases some more.
Speaking of Naruto .. what is Cartoon Network airing now? Have they started Shippuuden yet?
I haven't been following it on TV , I've just been watching the uncut dvds as they come out , but I believe that CN is still running through the endless filler.

They're going to start officially airing Shippuuden online in January.

I thought only recent eps of Shippuuden were going to start streaming in January? I don't recall hearing CN was going to start airing it...

I should have been more clear. It's not CN thats going to be running them. Its VIZ themselves and I believe they will be airing the series both from the beginning as well as new episodes as they come out.
50 cents at best.
Half.com has them at $45 and $99 new. Amazon has them around $50. That's pretty sweet. What's the best place to sell games like this?

You'd be lucky if they sell for that much.
Not much demand anymore for it, but leave it dangling long enough...

seem to average 15-20 for open copies.
Sealed 30 to 50ish if lucky.

30 was all I was expecting. I think I'll throw them up on half for 40 shipped.

DOn't know how selling there works though.
Just sell them on craigslist. Screw paying fees.
I can't see anyone in oklahoma buying them for a decent price after all the ads I've seen.

I wish my PS2 controller had a pause button. My sister-in-law knocked on the door right when the end cutscenes for DDS2 started. Great pair of games, but I'm not sure how I blew through 60 hours of them in a month.
