Yeah, I looked for gripshift, but there weren't any in my area. Im pretty disappointed in that.

Did get a few network adapters this week. Those things are gold.

Luckily, RCA cables are easy to re-attach, so I'll fix it up later.

I think it took me about 3 or 4 months to get accepted on GAF.

Just got my new pair of HDMI cables and hooked up my Joytech HDMI switch I got.

360 and PS3 look great. Happy.

Hey Zew,

There's no such thing as 360 models having different a/v port sizes is there?

My friend got a used component cable from some GS and said it doesn't fit. It's definitley a 360 cable as it was 12.99 but I know it's not 1st party.
I went and bought him one myself last night to give to him later, and return his.

I really don't think there's various sizes, unless they sold him a shitty "universal" one and it doesn't have the right adapter.

No, they have never changed the size of the AV port. Probably just a crappy, cheap set.

Those 2 sales got me my PS3 for $175.


But I wish I kept a copy of Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Although your Star Wars TFU, Mercs 2, Futuramas and such are still nice $4-12/20 type trades.

No 40% bonus just eliminates a lot of the $5 base/$7 bonus stuff I would have bought normally. But you don't need filler anymore either.
 
what's with the gaf line up? jeez, you guys can just take my account. :lol: (jk) just saying that because 90% of the threads there devolve into console warz, depending on the hot game at the time. Right now it's Killzone 2.
 
I have a GAF account (same screen name I think, registered a long time back, but never really visit the site. I hate having everything lumped into one forum area.

Anyway, I've never understood their approval process etc. They seem to have just as much fanboy nonsense over there as we do here on CAG from what I recall. Unless it's changed since I last gave it a skim.

Yeah, CAG's the only game forum I've found that I can tolerate. And even it gets old at times with the console war, fanboy nonsense.

awesome, I've somehow deleted my 20 hour+ Titan Quest save and my 10 hour+ FEAR save.

I don't mind playing FEAR again, but I guess this pushes me to Diablo II as my ARPG of choice. :)

That's really only in the multiplat threads. Which most of them aren't.

Gaf is great for all the collection threads (among others), like this one which brought back memories recently:

I don't really play it online, single player usually during the once a year I play the game.

Took me like a week to get accepted to GAF. No idea why it takes some people so long.

It's more like Ace Combat in space. The problem that turns many people away is it has a steep learning curve. It's pretty much a must for you to go into the tutorial and learn all your ships abilities because you WILL need them. For example, if you need to take out a large cruiser you can't just fly at it firing your missiles. You need to fly at it, air brake, and inertia strafe it while firing anti-ship guns. If you haven't gone into the tutorial, and you don't know what that means, you're not ready to play the game.
 
I enjoyed Project Sylpheed from what I played.

I found a blockbuster that didn't take down their B1G1 free signage tonight! I got some flipping stuff and Soldier of Fortune:payback for $5. I've been eager to try this for really cheap after hearing how over the top it is. I'll probably end up flipping it to gamestop after playing for a few minutes, though.
