I think I'm gonna get the Real Arcade Pro for ~$99. I don't like the reports of the SFIV stick having PCB wear and tear issues this early. :(

I tested the SFIV pad too, doesn't beat Saturn pad.

why would you resell it if it's broken? 'cause the diagonals should be great. Either that or you're not pushing hard enough.

a lot of people are having all kinds of problems with the SFIV Madcatz line. :( if I get a stick, I'll get the HRAP and throw in some sanwa buttons.

I did this for work too, and kept it at home, site is much cleaner.

Are you referring to this thread because I don't think it's been unreasonable at all. A couple people aren't blindly praising the game. I don't see a problem with that.

Same.
I finally started it around 4 am and was only going to play one level.
Finished it and fell in love.

One of the few games where I think, "this is new".
And the motion controls beat nearly everything on the Wii as far as feeling natrual and responsive. They worked so great with this game.
 
I gave in and started Far Cry 2. My favorite thing is how the start screen bursts into flames when you first start :p

Other than that, I can already tell the mission system and save system are going to annoy me.

Do HRAPs have quick connects? I'd love to change the buttons out on my EX2, but I don't feel like learning how to solder.

I find that I need people's avatars to associate posts with them (and to help me pick out the posts I normally want to read). I had sigs off until the 372nd appearance of the bad moderation team and needed to turn them on to help the report brigade formed by jerk-off #1 and jerk-off #2. Inadvertently, I made a different with my "THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK" signature, as within a day or so of it's appearance, the line limit on signature code was imposed. :whistle2:#

Hell yeah. I'm dumping the buttons on my HRAP EX the second they get in. Stock is for suckaz.

Pizza for lunch, yeah, Tombstone garlic bread pizza on my Pizzazz, yeah boy. Then I'm going to replace a water pipe that froze, thawed and broke. Cheap ass PVC FTL. Then I may play a game.

I wish I was still sleeping. . .

My HRAP still isn't here.

I have to keep using the SE until it arrives, now there's going to be some fresh meat in SFIV. I'm licking my chops. ;)

Also, the weight of the delivery changed from 21lbs to 10lbs overnight. :whistle2:|
 
I tried the Waffle Breakfast sandwich at Dunkin Donuts today. It was pretty tasty. Though ham would be a better choice than bacon. Sort of staying with the fluffy textures.

I picked up some Genesis collection for my PSP yesterday. I played Shinobi III or Ninja Gaiden 3 or whatever. It was pretty neat. Then I played some Cops and Robbers game. Also wicked neat. I just wish Toe Jam and Earl was on the disc.... Then I popped in Warhammer 40k Squad Command. That's a good time. Reminds me of General Chaos, another excellent game that should have been included on the Genesis collection UMD.

Why are you getting a HRAP when you have the Fightstick?

I'm waiting for UPS to deliver about 36 pounds of PC parts too. Received the case and mobo yesterday, just need the rest. Then I can send this build out tomorrow via my courier service AKA my friend. Then I gets paid. :cool:
 
Because the FightStick is borked.

I'm already having the PCB problems that everyone else is having, so I would have to buy a Sanwa joystick to replace it.

I figured I'd just get the HRAP EX since I prefer the look, size, and weight of it compared to the SE.

None of the SFIV stuff I pre-ordered appears to be in stock right now. I didn't even get a call from GS robot chick Ashley. :/

The collector in me is the only thing stopping me from canceling everything, since I already have an EX. It ain't the greatest, but it's a lot better than the 360 controller.
 
Can you use a 360 stick on a PC as well since it's USB? I just want to be sure.
Kind of want a cheap one for Raiden Fighters and some arcade titles.
 
Now, I'm never one to beg or ask for anything out right, but does anyone happen to have a spare 50/100 MS points they'd be will to give up? I've got 550 MS points, and the Burnout Legendary Cars are going to be 600 MS points for all 4.

I love the Moz as much as the next loser, but this album will just be more of same middle-aged moping and reflecting. Still have You Are the Quarry, though.

To be honest, I don't like YatQ much at all, enjoyed Ringleader, and this new one will probably be inbetween those two.

I really enjoy all his older albums MUCH more so than the 2004+ material.
From Viva Hate to Maladjusted, I'd take any one of those over the new stuff.

Rock doesn't suit him anymore, and really wish he'd turn into a straight crooner, or get a little more experimental as he tried with Maladjusted.

I still buy his music as a matter of course (every edition, different regions, etc), I will still enjoy it for different reasons, and I still support him.
 
I was thinking of just using a Fightpad, but now I'm hearing of QC problems with that too? It's like fate telling me to just stick with my EX. :p

Maybe. I didn't realize the HRAPs had QD... that's what's making me want one of those instead now... :\

Oh please, for PS3 owners they can be skeptical (Saturn pad), but it's the best 360 owners are gonna get for a pad.

Having said that, it makes it sound like a bad thing but having it compared to a Saturn pad is definitely an honor. I love the FightPad, it's a great controller.

I only ordered a Fightpad for PS3, since I already have a HRAP2 and Pelican. :/

BTW, what's this about comparing to a Saturn pad? I know those are solid.
