So I bought Aquaria from bitblot a few months ago but the download link doesn't work anymore. Is it okay for me to get it from alternative sources?
I'd be surprised if they weren't willing to help you out, if you emailed them.
Also, maybe I'm just more closeminded than I ever realized, but am I the only one creeped the fuck out by that guy with the CAG blog with the dolls?
you're not the only one. I got more creeped out when I saw a different pic of his with a rather large hairy arm in it. gave me the chills.
^ A Raoul Julia movie that's worse than Street Fighter or Adam's Family. :whee:

I watched Mad Monster. It was too boring even with the MST3k treatment. Plus I couldn't handle Tom Servo with a different voice.
I'd forgotten how good Overdrawn at the Memory Bank is, all the jokes about the Fat Man are classic, I LOL'd at the bit where he walks into the bar and Mike says "all you can eat? the jokes on them" then it cuts to Raoul Julia looking at the fat man and Tom says "dammit, I'm running the Prime Rib special today"

Yeah Mad Monster wasn't very good, I struggled through that one myself.

The new Ep of Cinematic Titanic was good to Mak. In the film they have philipino actors with blackened faces playing black servants (racist much ?). So the jokes prety much write themselves, at one point Josh Weinstein says "I'd be less offended if they stuck a big nose on and called them Jew-face".

Play lots of Banjo.
Really liking it more and more as I progress. I forgot how funny Rare can be.
Wow, Slumdog Millioniare is excellent.
Saw that this weekend, it's was not bad. I give it an A- despite the cliche love story, mostly because I thought it was clever how they presented the question/answer bits.

My ladyfriend wasn't as kind and gave it a B, said City of God was better.
It was kind of City of God lite.

Oh, I beat that Wanted game on The Killer difficulty last night in two hours. 740/1000 for around 5 hours of play time. Not too bad, but I feel really sorry for whoever pays 60 bucks for it.

Scribblenauts... where art thou?

I'm leaning towards selling the DSi, keeping Rhythm Heaven.
I'd rather use the $200 towards my speaker fund. I think.

I'm tempted to pick up AH, I used to have the Xbox version. The only thing that puts me off is how nailz the game is.

It's probably worth it for 400 points though.

i played the demo awhile ago just wasnt sure if it wanted to pick it up at 800 pts
Is Scribblenauts like Marker Man Adventures?
I have no idea what that (MMA) is other than the name is awesome.

As for Scribblenauts... imagine a game where you could write down any word, and it comes to life.
Any noun.
I never beat the end of Banjo Kazooie, I got to the end but I kept losing to the Witch :(

Some of the worlds were a PITA
The only world that really pissed me off that much was Freezy Peak. The rest weren't too bad. Beating Gruntilda was pretty tough though , mainly summoning the jinjonator at the end.

I had planned to pick up Alien Hominid a long time ago , but kept putting it off or forgetting. Once I had heard it was going to be going on sale though I waited for it. Now It's going to be mine.:D

What was cool about the game was that some of those places were fken hard but it was still really fun to play. I just got irritated losing to Gruntilda all the time so I just jumped to Ocarina Of Time and now I can't find my cartridge. All that time just gone :(

Called in my local GS to check if KZ2 was still available used and she asked "for the 360 or PS3?" :p

The woman at GS are just there to get pre-orders, they don't need to know about games.

Really, you live in Texas right ?

I presumed all woman from Texas looked like Jessica Simpson, I couldn't have been more wrong by the sound of it. :dunce:

There's a girl @ one of my GS with a smokin' bod. When she goes to get a game from the lower drawer, she has no problem showing off her thong.

It appears to be Crayon Physics for the DS.
I might just have to stop playing Conan for :360: too many bugs!
Hmm odd. I don't recall ever encountering any. I loved that game. Reminded me a lot of God of War.
Crazy, but she just bends over, like she wants you to check it out.
I'd nave no problem doing that.

I'd go in there and she'd be like "So, do you want to reserve anything today?" and I'd be like "Yeah, you on Saturday night . . ."

The one girl at the GS i go to the most (the employees there are intelligent, not pushy, and the store isn't crowded to 3rd world standards) is quite attractive (even for a girl who has the "trendy" look that I can't stand). Then again I have a really bad habit of flirting with the female employees of places I go often.
Sony denies price cut.

15TB $700 PS3 confirmed.
Confirm it will be backwards compatible with 90% of existing PS3 games.

Sony needs to stop fucking around and drop the PS3 to $300. They need to do something, anything, to gain ground.

As consumers, close competition will benefit us. I'd hate to see Sony flounder like this and end up bowing out.

And put more PS1 games on PSN. I'm tired of them half assing that.

Unfortunately that makes too much sense to actually happen.

Nah, j/k. I'm sure it'll happen sooner rather than later.

I'd love it personally. As I've said many times the ideal situation is for MS and Sony to partner up. Then we have their machine pushing graphics, online gaming etc. and Nintendo doing whatever they hell they want to do with their machine.

Plenty of competition, the SNES/Genesis era had only those two as real players and that was the golden age of gaming. No need for a 3 consoles in the market--especially when 2 offer pretty much identical types of gaming experiences. That just splits games across more consoles and requires us to shell out more cash and clutter up the home theater system with 2 nearly identical consoles.
Your home theater system is cluttered? When did you get a PS3?
I don't have one, and will never buy one since I don't even play games on the 360 that much anymore. But even without one it is a bit cluttered as I just have a TV stand with 3 shelves--with the receiver, HD Cable box and Blu Ray player taking up one--leaving the 360 to sit on the hardwood floor beside it. But clutter is relative, others have a ton more shit than that in their systems and it doesn't bother them at all. But I'm a neat freak and minimalist and like having as little shit as possible laying around.

I just see no point to own both unless you're a super die hard gamer and have to play the handful of AAA exclusives on each. Too costly and too much crap to cram in the home theater IMO if you're not a hardcore gamer since the gaming experiences are so similar.

We'd be much better off with a joint Sony/MS effort competing with Nintendo. Plenty of competition to keep good games coming, and the Sony/MS first party games all in one place. But it's a pipe dream and won't happen, it's more likely one of the two will just drop gaming all together a generation or two down the road than it is that they'd ever partner up.

If thats what they're callin it these days, then yes.

You do have a point. Maybe if Sony and Microsoft just abandoned the console business and made all of their games for PC, then we'd all get along. :grouphug:

But as far as competition goes, the more the better. If you ask Nintendo, they aren't competing with Sony or Microsoft, though we know that's mostly not true. Though I'm sure grandparents would love to play Killzone 2 and Halo 3 ODST.

So basically, nothing you said mattered, since it seems you'd do fine without either system.

Hehe, I understand what you're saying, but none of it really applies to you.
I hope for one system future, but not for clutters' sake.
