Ahh cool. I'll have to check it out. I finally have room to dl demos and arcade games now that I deleted a game install and some save files I wont need anymore.

 
Yeah, pretty sure that's it.
There's a special attack where a giant cat (it's like a real picture) just drops down and shoots lasers or something.

That was the only cool thing, and the only reason I tried the demo. :)
 
So my school has these terrible speakers come in and talk to us about various subjects, but mostly about their college, the Bradford School. Back in October we had Pete, who talked about the differences between men and women while demonstrating that some men are VERY similar to women. Then in December we had...Pete again. Same speech. In January we had a woman talking about table manners. And now today we had another woman talking about job interviews. Mostly, about how wearing or not wearing pantyhose is the most important element of a job interview. Now a combination of it being first period, having heard the same basic speech four times, and this woman being an annoying tart trying REALLY hard to be funny and "relate" to teenage kids made me pretty pissed with the whole thing. And then she pulls out this gem:

Castlevania PSP just went GH, so you can get that and the delightful Dracula X for 20 ducats.

And have a reason to not look at your psp and ask "why the fuck did I buy you?"
 
It'll be even less at Gamestop come Sunday. It's one of the PSP games that is going to be on sale. I was beyond satisfied with that compilation at $30. For 15 or 10, it's a steal.

Aw, there's a good amount of stuff--Resistance Retribution/Syphon Filter series, Crisis Core, GoW:COO, all the retro collections (Genesis, Samsho, Shmups). Plus the thing plays media, does skype, GPS...

I intend to finally rebuy a PSP when the final model with UMD support comes out and when it drops to $100 or less. Might have to wait till PSP2 if there is some BC through accessories.

So another 5 years?

For now. Realistically, they still can't afford to lose that much more money on consoles. I think the economy of scale hasn't quite kicked in yet, although manufacturing costs are supposedly/allegedly lower now. But maybe in a few more months...or after E3!

You should've added in that Sony isn't making a profit and Fred Savage (vice president of the vice president of SCE) will not allow a price cut without Sony breaking even and then you would've had an authentic TMK post.

Lame. But they're stuck there this gen period. They drop the PS3 price, MS will drop the 360 price again (especially since it's already been several months since the last 360 price drop).

By launching at $100-200 more they doomed themselves to always be the highest priced console, and while the exclusive game lineup is solid it by no means blows away the 360's to entice people who only buy one or the other to shell out the extra cash.

The thing is the PS2 still sells a lot. This price drop will probably spur sales even more, and help give Sony the money it's not getting from PS3 sales.
 
I dunno what they expected, making a $600 game console. It's like they thought they could be Apple and get away with that shit.

Only Nintendo can brag about that because of their $250 overclocked Gamecube/minigame player with $85 fitness program/balance board bundle.

1. They cared more about winning the HD movie format war--which they did.

2. They banked on enough people caring about early adopting Blu Ray to pay the extra price and keep them on top in sells. That didn't happen, many who did care (like me) just waited for stand alone players to get cheaper rather than buying a PS3. But it did help, sells would be even worse if it was $600 and didn't play blu rays (but that's moot as without BR it wouldn't have cost that much) it would have sold even worse.

Well, in all honesty, Sony was the biggest douche bag of them all when it came to hyping their next system. They were so arrogant.
 
I wish I hadn't started a Blu Ray collection so I could sell my Blu Ray pla... Erm... PS3.

Don't think I'll be waiting around for GT5 either when FM3 will be here by then.

The games are on Blu Ray disks, so they can't get rid of the Blu Ray drive. And I can't imagine cutting BR movie playback would save them much cost per console.

How would that work though since games are on blu-rays? Having it just not play movies would be as stupid as the Wii not being able to play DVD's.

The PS3 out... it's done, not much to do because either way it would cost more. Soo... why not improve it the way they should've from the start. Make some good fucking games people WANT to play. Another good start would to be to fix the damn controller so it's not so FAIL.

Plenty of games I want to play on the PS3. Other than the few JRPGs out on the 360, there's really no exclusives there I really want. As for the controller, I greatly prefer it to the 360 one. The only exception being when I play FPS games, and I rarely play those anyway.

is an excellent track. That's good video game music. Not a rap song with a chorus that repeats every 15 seconds.
 
Just to let you know... all I have is NHL09, RSV2, GoW2, FM2, and Halo3. I only play the first two and that's it.

So you can quit before you start with the 360 fanboy assumption.
