Holy . Dead Space is the scariest thing ever in the history of everything.
I find myself screaming every 5 milliseconds.
Amazing game though. I thought I was never going to get past some crazy part in Chapter 5 but now I'm halfway through chapter 6.
I hear the last chapter is insanely hard. Is this true?

In my experience it got easier as it went along. The end was pretty trivial, though fun.
I'd get edge for my touch, but they no longer have a lite version for me to try... >_<
I'll be making an iPhone/Touch thread soon...
strange to say, but I really don't like most of the controls of iPhone games, but a few like Eliss are perfect (almost... eliss owould be better with more screen space).
Anyone getting that Gears 2 retail pack thing next month? I played the game today for the first time since January and for 20$ you cant beat all the DLC released so FAR on top of 7 new maps and a WHOLE new single player campaign chapter. I mainly just want the single player pack so me and a friend can co-op that bitch.
Plus, I read it comes with a poster and a code to download a gears 2 premium theme. I love the poster that came in the Fallout 3 retail DLC pack.
The end of Dead Space wasn't particularly hard.
More tedious than hard,
I almost shit myself there at the ending, sound was up really loud.

make sure you try to max out your stasis, rig, and plasma cutter. the Line gun is great too
overall that game isnt that hard at all. I think the only trouble i had was on Pro mode during:
when you are on that one other ship in the big mess hall where it locks down and you have to fight a bunch of the stasis and other monsters. i had 30% health and 18 rounds of plasma cutter when going into the room
I got some games for Father's day RE:5, Sacred 2,Red Faction: Guerrilla. Have many of you guys played Red Faction: Guerrilla yet? I just played a little bit last night, it was pretty damn fun! I enjoyed the first two and this one really lives up to the destruction that they promised last gen.
I have not tried Sacred 2 yet, but the employees at GS said it was similar to Baldur's gate, Champions of Norrath, etc. have any of you played it yet? If so is it simliar or better? I mainly got it for co-op with the wife, but I saw you can play it online.
Sacred 2 is awesome, I doubt you have the 360 one but if you did, I would hook you up with crazy items.
In my experience it got easier as it went along. The end was pretty trivial, though fun.
Also, upgrade the force gun. It's ridiculous.
All you need is the plasma cutter.

Silent Hill: Homecoming has easier combat than Silent Hill 2, but as the first SH game I've played since renting 2 and being disturbed by Pyramid Head ing faceless mannequin ... things... shit is still creepy. Waaaaayyyyy creepy. (Keep in mind I was playing in total darkness, pretty much (other than the game, of course)...

I thought Epic cancelled the retail pack and it was only going to be available on live for $15 (but missing something else).
Yup.
Epic has now drastically revised their release plan for Dark Corners and the retail compilation, All Fronts. Dark Corners is now priced 1200 Microsoft Points, and All Fronts will now be available only on Xbox Live, and will cost 1600 Points. Both will be available on July 28th.
So now people can pay $15 for the 7 new maps and "deleted" chapter or $20 for everything out there (combustible maps, snowblind maps, flashback maps, dark corners maps, lost chapter)
yeah, the PS2 version had a story which was handled pretty interestingly. You could brush off the love interest in the game and go after one of the other characters. I basically went after the girl with the nicest rack in my music band...
Lol, I didn't know you could do that. Since I can't seem to get into Persona 4(damn 4chan for spoiling the ending) again right now so I think I might put some time into Steambot this week.

But the PSP version is kinda suppose to lack story since it's more of a focus on one of the modes from the PS2 version arena battles..
just got Eliss on the my touch... superb game.

I watched that video and I still don't really understand what you do in that game.
The controls feel ridiculously stilted if you've ever played anything else resembling DMC.
I think this is probably why DoC gets all the undeserved hate - it's a 3rd person RPG-shooter getting compared to a beat-em-up action game.
Oh snap, certain people found personal meetings scheduled today with HR and supervisors (my team included...)
The guy in front of me and a couple ladies I knew and liked got one.
I know the girls are happy, they seem to want to leave. The guy in front of me is scared as shit. (never liked him anyway)
That stinks. I'm not going to say any more than that.
I'm almost done with Okami it's kind of sickening. I know I'm going into the last dungeon and I know what's in there, but as much as the game was enjoyable, the last few parts have been sort of frustrating, driving down my enjoyment of it (yes, let's wall climb jump across a chasm that if you fall you have to restart).
The game is definitely very good, and the Zelda rip-offs become blatantly obvious in the final 5 hours it's pretty disheartening. I find that Twilight Princess is still much better than it, though.
Is the elite suit any good, or should I get the Level 3 suit?
Also, this game is creepy. I'm stuck somewhere on chapter 7.
I think the Elite suit is like a level 3 or 5 suit. I forget. It also has slots maxed out. It's really good, but sort of cheating.
IIRC, if you get the suit off Marketplace you can't get the suit of the same level in-game, which is actually a better suit.
Or maybe that's the PSN one.
Or maybe I'm babbling.
I think I'm using what you're talking about .. the obsidian suit?
Any GGTers want to join a PSN gameshare group? I'm going to be buying Fat Princess and I'll give it if you get Pixel Junk Shooter and vice versa for future content.
(I keep getting a bunch of CAG Newbs messaging me on the Game Share thread...)
You gotta finish with a handy.
I'm gonna assume you mean handle and it's flakman80. I don't have a single negative or neutral feedback so I'm stumped why I'm out 10 points of rep for no discernible reason.
Well, in a bit I go out on my "business date"... wish me luck.
as for gaming... gamefly sent me WTF and Coded Arms Contaigonalser... I just wanted to give em a try but they were at the bottom of my list
also genna go out in a few min to pick up F/S/R and MHFU

(I keep getting a bunch of CAG Newbs messaging me on the Game Share thread...)
Why not just gather up some pals and share each game equally? Vote on what is bought, then you just pitch in however much the cost is divided by five. 9.99 games are 2 bucks, 4.99 games are a buck, etc etc. That way nobody feels left out. Just have whoever is the head of the group purchase the games while the others shoot the account holder their share for it.
Stuck? The game is go from point a to point b over and over and over again. Just pull up your map and follow the little blue line. :|
I got stuck in a zero grav place with no ammo in chapter 7, and my closest save prior to that was at the beginning of chapter 6. :/
