I'm almost ready to tackle Wily's Castle on Hard Mode. 600 screws or so and I should be ready to tackle it. Hard Mode is full of complete BS that makes one hit kill platformers look like child's play. It's very unfortunate in my opinion. After this I'll probably try a Mr. Perfect run because I know I'm a glutton for punishment. But it can't be as hard as what I'm going through right now.

More GT5 B-spec'd as well. I have a Lv.38 driver now, so it shouldn't be long until they reach lv.40.

Whatever works, I need somebody to test out the online with anyway. I need to get some impressions of the netcode. Some of my friends are waiting for me to tell them how the online is before they buy it, lol. I already know some scorpion combos thanks to the demo. If they still work, I'll be seeing whether or not I can land them. Actually, all I'd have to do is hit a button and see how long it takes for the attack to come out, lol.

Sweet! I'll be able to tell you how the netcode is later tonight, but I'm not as much of a stickler for it as you are. I'm betting the netcode's pretty good though, the MK guys usually churn out some great shit.
 
Apparently Noob and Stryker are fucking ridiculously broken from what I'm seeing people saying on other sites.

Almost makes me want to not play it safe with Scorp tonight.

I do like how the new MK has the combo breaker technique for breaking out of combos in exchange for a bar of meter. Now if only I remember to use it.

I know how to block, luckily! Blocking in MK is something I'm pretty good at. :cool:

Haven't used it in the demo yet, but in Deception it was blocking the second a punch hit.

That would probably explain why I have yet to use it. I rarely use block (because the AI is shitty) and whenever I do, it's just a one second thing and I end up breaking their faces as soon as I let my guard down.

Depends. I still have my copy because that's about what I could sell it for, so I didn't think it was worth selling... but it's hit and miss. It's sort of okay from an old school zelda vibe, but it's also kind of annoying because it's NOT old school zelda, if that makes sense.
 
I bought it for $40 and I hated it with a burning passion. It tries to be Zelda and a JRPG at the same time. The JRPG gets in the way with its' time specific quests and horrible equipment mechanics.

I beat Mega Man 10 on Hard, so now all I have to do is try to do Mr. Perfect. What fun :S

Portal 2 tomorrow. I expect to be disappointed.

Just broke my "no more figures" policy by buying a figure of Klan Klang from Macross Frontier.... Not even sure where it will go.
 
I wasn't going to get MK until it was 40.00, but the TRU deal is too good to pass up.

Won't be getting it till Wednesday though. Gotta propose my thesis first.

I had a $10 gift card and $10 credit was enough to make it $40. Watching some of the "high level" type guys play got me insterested, that and the Cyber Sub-Zero combo video.... I figured I'd just go with Amazon, since it's my preferred outlet and the Klassic Reptile is probably the most useful alt for me (I agree with ReRo on the new Reptile design). I'd like classic Sub-Zero for his original iconic fatality. FFDF.HP all day, baby. :cool:
