FriskyTanuki: Oh yea those. Not only pointless, but they are even great looking. I questioned a lot of Bioware's recent developer decisions lately. So far they have been only going down in quality not up.

I might be a bit late on the Borderlands party (got gamespy account and everything). I am setting some stuff up at my uncle's. Should be back before 6pm PST (9pm to you east coasters).

I don't wear it as much as I used to (don't like putting on makeup for just being around town) but yeah, I not only wear but am good at applying eyeliner! It's one of those things that really make my eyes pop. I also put foundation/coverup to good use from time to time. Best thing? If a girl notices it can be a great conversation piece!

God, this Gaga concert special is so good. I know I probably say this a lot, but real talk: I am madly head over heels in love with Lady Gaga. I think I'm going to train to be a backup dancer for her. A good many of her backup dancers are pretty average looking and only like 2 of them have abs. One of them actually have moobs! If I get to become one of her backup dancers then I'd almost surely be a big fish in a little pond! From there I would woo her.

Came here to complain more about summer, and what I found really put my life in perspective.
 
After getting tired of waiting for the UK FFIV to drop, I just gave in and bought our version today. I've only played through it once, so I'm hoping it'll be a nice a nice throwback to why I love RPG's in the first place.

Also real talk GGT, you guys should put MK down and go see Thor. It's exceptionally good, and well worth the time.
 
I saw Thor and was pretty impressed. The trailers made it look like the movie was going to be terrible.

On the same note the trailers for Captain America also make it look like it's going to be terrible, but I'm pretty sure it's just going to be boring.

Out of all the superhero movies coming out this summer, Captain America is my least anticipated one. X-men, Green Lanturn, and Cowboys & Aliens (not necessarily superheroes but meh) all take priority.

I'm super hyped for Green Lantern. Cowboys & Aliens also looks cool. I'm unsure about X-Men though, so far I think it looks pretty bad, but could just be the case of a bad trailer again.

And Fast Five was awesome. I went to the midnight showing of that last week.
 
Surprised by everyone's early doubt on Cap. I'm sure it's going to rank right there with Iron Man and Thor. Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull? fuck YES. X-Men's the one that I know is going to suck. It's going to be Wolverine all over again.
 
I wasn't a big fan of Iron Man personally. Really didn't like Iron Man 2 due to all the obvious plot holes.


And Red Skull has always looked dumb to me. A bald guy with a red head. Not very intimidating.

Hugo Weaving is awesome though.

I hate to say it, but Hugo Weaving is and always will be Agent Smith "as" whatever. The only thing he kind of got away with was playing V, since he wore a mask 99% percent of the time... all I could think of everytime I saw him as Elrond in the three LOTR films was "Holy shit, it's Agent Smith as an elf!". :\

Seriously? Have you seen a large amount of his roles? He's one of the greatest actors ever, Frosty. One of the best thespians of our time.

Edit: I personally always think of him as wearing drag, now that I think about it. :(

My experience of Hugo Weaving in major films was:

Matrix Trilogy
LOTR Trilogy
V for Vendetta

Considering most of the rest of his IMDB listing for appearances is either (1) for characters in that list above, (2) for shorts or TV appearances I haven't seen, (3) for works like Transformers (as Megatron), Babe: Pig in the City, and Happy Feet, (4) films I've never heard of, I'm going to say my experience with him is limited to the 3 movies listed above.

In fact, since the Matrix, Keanu has pretty much stayed Neo in everything and Laurence Fishburne has only just somehow shed the skin of Morpheus. :lol:

It's not that I think Captain America will suck, I'm just not as interested in him or that movie as much as the rest.
 
Outland is pretty dang good.

I'm pretty excited for these summer movies. I think x-men will be the worst of the bunch. I want Green lantern to be good so that DC/WB can kick off some other DC movie projects.

I played some MK with my brother and Smash with my friends last night. Makes me wish I had more People to play video games with in person. Online will never compare.
