I might just go for an Eden/Red Faction combo. I mean, I'm still not finished Noire, so it's not like I have nothing to play. Sorry Duke...

looks like MS leaked their own conference surprises

Oh, and fuck Halo. It's been the same game for the past 4 installments. I'm looking forward to the original remake for its brilliant story, revolutionary gun play and rocking level design. Totally deserves to come back.

And Halo 4? What will change other than the firing mode on the primary rifle?

I notice that says remastered, not remade for Halo 1. Apparently they are going to have Hitman 5 at the MS conference. Arther Gies (of Rebel FM/IGN) said he played it and it didn't get Splinter Cell Conviction'd - so my excitement is still high on that one.

Summer of Arcade lineup: Bastion, From Dust, Fruit Ninja Kinect, Toy Soldiers 2, and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet.

I don't know why a Kinect game is in there. I'm interested in three of them (not Fruit Ninja or Toy Soldiers).
MS is announcing the Summer of Arcade lineup before the press conference? It's weird how little time XBLA gets every year when it has more than enough interesting games to deserve something.
They announced it on gt.tv all access already which is a bit weird and they also confirmed Halo 4 will be announced. Looks like they would have waited with that and it would be a shock instead of already confirming Halo 4.

Its a little different this year. Usually its MS. Then the next day its Sony/Nintendo.

I'm glad I get to see the MS and Sony one in the same day though. That's awesome.

Ooh, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet looked awesome in videos that I saw like 18 months ago, I didn't realize it still existed. I wasn't paying attention and sort of assumed that it morphed into Limbo.

The Kinect support in all of these retail games makes a lot more sense when it's just voice control. ME3's support would look better if the dialog phrases more closely matched what Sheppard says in his first sentence.
Really don't know much about those summer of xbla titles. 8(

Did i miss anything amazing?
Yes.

Star Wars Kinect and everything else Kinect related.

EDIT: Sesame Street Kinect? My life is complete.

I'm surprised that they didn't talk about any new Xbox Live updates. It's just a new Kinect dashboard (the New Xbox Experience) and stuff for that.

Completely called the Halo CE maps being in Reach. At least that's what I'm being led to believe what happened.
On GT.TV they just said the Halo remake will be a disc, but not full price. I bet they try to sale it for 39.99
I can honestly say that unless they fix that shitty framerate I'm not going to get the Halo remake until it frops to $20.
Tomb Raider, day one purchase. :hot:

I also want Ronaldo.
I might also dip on Tomb Raider.

EA!

I'm calling some shit now for all of E3 this year!

Sure things we'll either see or hear mentioned:
Left 4 Dead 3
Prince of Persia
God of War 4
Borderlands 2
Dead Space 3
Dragon Age 3
Army of Two(maybe prequel)
Super Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Amazing Spider-Man (movie game)

Maybe:
Legacy of Kain
Viewtiful Joe
Final Fantasy Collection (X, X-2, XII)
Half-Life 2 Episode 3 or Half-Life 3
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light 2
X-Men Legends 3 or Avengers (in the style of X-Men Legends)
Awakenings style expansion for Dragon Age 2

Everyone has to bitch. I love it. ^__^ But I love bitching, so I might be biased.

Just accept the fact that you aren't the target demographic anymore and play whatever you want to. It works for music and movies, and it works for gaming as well.

The target demographic doesn't even know what E3 is!
I haven't felt like the target demographic since E3 '04.
Same, that's why I just play whatever I want to.

Would be nice if Guardian Heroes HD was a summer of arcade XBLA title, instead of the trash they have lined up.

Also, Infamous is pretty assy. Controls are loose as hell, it's full of annoying shit, graphics look like PS2.5 while having frequent framerate drops, and Cole is super generic thus far.

I'm kinda tired of every motherfucker in every game scowling.

Truth hurts.
If you got it, I'll play you sometime. Been a while since I put it in (BB CS).
Sure, I'd be up to play whenever.
You aren't missing anything though, Outland is just old Prince of Persia.
Hmm, I forgot the part where old Prince of Persia was half Ikaruga. Or fun.

I actually want to play it.

I guess I'm supposed to say that I forgot Outland was fun?

Really though, everything I played in that Outland demo was just old Prince of Persia. I wasn't saying that was a bad thing either, I loved old PoP. Just if you've played PoP you've pretty much played Outland.

Having played the full game, I entirely disagree. The demo only gives you a taste of the Ikaruga bits. The full game completely revolves around that. It really makes it a totally different game. Also, it controls well, whereas I've never been a fan of the controls in old Prince of Persia.

I think Half-Life is different because of the narrative and should be experienced.

Huh, Overstrike looks good. Hopefully the gameplay matches the trailer.

Thanks, Panzer :D

Just got the rundown on my first tutoring session. I'll be teaching a fellow college student how to properly write an unbiased 12 page research paper and how to format their bibliography in APA style. Yay.
Kinda like how if you've played Half Life, you've played pretty much any FPS made in the last 10 years?
Maybe if Half Life was good.

You know what would be awesome? Outland 2, done by Ubisoft Montreal, that plays just like the newer Prince of Persia games. ^__^

Ikarua + Warrior Within = ??
You bitch!

I think it controlled pretty much the same, but I have only played the demo so I'm probably wrong. Whatever the case, I'll still be buying it when it drops to $5.

with Godsmack in the background. :bouncy:

True, not every game can be a Sonic 2006. You gotta deal with the Shadow the Hedgehogs sometimes.

Insomniac games put me to sleep, oddly enough. Their last good game was Disruptor.
