They're pretty much the same. Same core "dodge with right analog, combos with various weapons ala DMC games but in a platforming world". Second one just has some additional weapons and the like, mostly. Shank is very similar, but never really felt polished... such a shame too. It could've been good. Strange that the gritty scribblish style of Dishwasher games ends up being more polished to me than the flash/vector type animation of Shank.

I know the first one has been on sale at some point -- the best part of the first one was that, like Jonathan Mak, James Silva did the whole fucking game by himself. That alone was worth my $10.

Second one is better. Game is fucking dope. It's totally worth $10 IMO.

Still need to pick up the first one sometime, actually.

Apparently Wii U trailer was comprised, mostly, of the xbox or ps3 trailers. So we're back to knowing nothing about where the games will stack up graphically. :lol:
 
Well looks like Nintendo was trollllllin'. Hopefully they show some real footage soon because all I've seen so far that I absolutely knew was running was Mii shit.

I'm tempted to get Warhawk for $10, as it's such a great multiplayer game and still has a lot of servers running nearly four years after launch.

Nah, at least I don't think so. He did make Reggie look like an even bigger tool, and didn't give him a bunch of softball questions.
 
What is everyone thinking about E3 so far?

It's nuts here! So many games and people. And guess who got to hang out with the Naughty Dog crew and got to see some exclusive Uncharted 3 content? :) best day ever!

I watched the one on G4, maybe with Adam Sessler :)shudder:), right after Reggie came off the stage. Sessler wasn't giving him easy questions either, which lead to the ludicrous assertions Reggie was making...

Sessler, as much as I hate him, did good by saying something like "shots have been fired over the bow at apple and their iPad, are you trying to appeal to their market." And Reggie replied that they innovated everything in gaming, including touch screen gaming because of the DS and that iPad gaming was a copy of Nintendo innovation. Same with the Vita when they mentioned that Wii U was specifically NOT a portable... which made me laugh because the 3DS, for all of Nintendo's rule over Japan, has NOT been selling well there. People are mostly either happy with their DS or don't like the added bulk of the 3DS apparently. :lol:
 
Finished Fight Night Champion's story mode. Took all of 2 hours.

It was quite entertaining. ^__^

I'll probably pick this up for cheap sometime.
 
I actually like Sessler. Not TV Sessler, they make him act like an idiot. But when he actually gets to talk, he seems like a cool guy.
 
Nintendo did have that awesome looking Zelda trailer where you could control the lighting/camera with the Wiiumotablet (they need to name that thing) - so it seems like capable hardware

My thoughts exactly. Also, I'd really love to see that tablet be used in a MGS game! Can anyone else totally see Snake pulling out a Launcher of some sort and pointing the tablet at the screen and the tablet becoming the targeting hud? fuckING AWESOME.

You should play the first one for the characters, but the sequel like every sequel, is by no means unplayable if you skip the original. It might take some patience to play the older one, but it is a very good game.

Is any site doing a live video stream for the entire day like Gametrailers did on mon/tues? Can't find one the works on iPhone and gt isn't doing one anymore.
