I was going to order some things from GF and then decided to pass.

I mean, I currently have a backlog unfortunately, and yet I've been playing

Just got back from the midnight! It was awesome! Got my fucking online pass downloading now, it's gonna take forever.

GS girl and I chilled in the parking lot talking and I won a big bag of promo shit from WB for my amazing Batman knowledge. It was a great night.

I know what you mean about the sales and being only one console though... if SotD was 360 only, I wouldn't have grabbed it.

Those 3 are on my to-buy list once I clear out some of my backlog. And after the Fall onslaught is over.

Yo, Bulletstorm was great, but Vanquish was my GOTY last year. It's amazing.

I'm quite patient when it comes to single player games.... I will almost never buy them for more than twenty bucks.

Bulletstorm may have just hit sub-$20, but Vanquish has been there since early this year -- I got my copy back in summer for $16 at TRU. :p

I didn't say how long it would take me. We're talking about my life's work here. When I'm on my death bed and if I still haven't finished it you can finally complain that I never finished it.

Ya I got mine from an EA sale in the summer for about that (and EA accidentally sent me two so I gave one to a friend for his birthday).

I might end up getting Arkham City fairly soon after release though, assuming I finish Arkham Asylum in a reasonable amount of time. Although I might just see about getting it for a gift this holiday season, since I still have plenty to play and I plan on getting Skyrim when it comes out which will keep me plenty busy. But I would like to support the creators of Arkham Asylum/Arkham City since they are really doing an amazing job with a comic book license.

Also, am I the only one or do other people think of this when they think of Rocksteady Studios?

Jimbo, you're probably going to really like Vanquish, though surprised you havent played it...

two notes to make it better:

#1 - Skip all story please... I loved Vanquish and wanted to try to enjoy the story... bad idea. First (or second after Bionic Commando) game where I feel the skip cutscene button is useful.

#2 - The main character has carries name, so don't die.


but yeah, fucking great game that I know is your style of play (arcadey score skill based)

plus, the smoking button is awesome... makes you feel like a badass and also is useful in gameplay for enemy distraction



You'll like shadows of the damned as well, but probably not as much as Vanquish.

though I know Capcom doesnt do it due to costs probably especially since that title would need alot of money thrown in just for online.

I remember back in the days of Unreal Tournament when this shit would've been free.

And that was a better multiplayer game too, which I can say for certain without even playing Uncharted 3.
