GGT 168 actually shows up to game nights and on time

My TV made it alright from NY to CA, but the movers didn't do a very good job of packing it, I was scared the stand was going to get damaged, because I think they just wrapped the entire TV in cardboard, it wasn't even in a box! But somehow it arrived fine, love that TV, such a trooper, haha, it's been through 4 states over the course of 7 moves, and I've had it for 7 years, and it still works great.

Larger tvs comes with damn nice boxes for shipping. My 46 panny plasma came with this high tech box with latches. I've moved it twice since in the back of a pickup without any trouble

Things I don't understand:

Why people (JOEL!) in the Playstation Rewards Houseparty bother to do any more than the minimum required to hit top tier. I noticed this is the last week for the month and saw I had 660 points and need 662+ to get to tier 3; I answered the 3 poll questions quick and found I had 712. I immediate stopped. Joel on the other hand went through the motions until he maxed his points at 990... what's the point? :p

It takes about 3 more minutes for me to max my points so I go for it.

Debating if I should get in some Skyrim time or just pass out early tonight.

Also, my car isn't starting again. It's one of my most favorite things.

Between the hassle of uploading photos, the hassle of commenting on other peoples' conversations, and the creating 3 new conversations, I'd rather save the 5-10 minutes of my life since the extra points net you nothing. But hey, whatever quivers your liver. ;)
 
Hrm, I really need to go and check my Goozex account once in a while - I now have a PS3 copy of Deus Ex to go with the 360 Augmented Edition from Amazon for 25 in December.

Also, I went out to dinner and to a bar for a drink with my college buddies and another old friend from college that was visiting who now works for a social game company under EA's Bioware label, and while we were out drinking there was a fairly large group sitting at a long table on the other side of the bar, and at one point I saw them kind of pointing at me, and I was like whatever. But then later, right before I was about to leave I heard a group of them urging one of their gay friends to go say hi to me, but I think he chickened out (although I think they were all fairly intoxicated too, haha). It was a fun and interesting night.

I'm an amazing wingman, but a terrible pilot. I would have no idea what how to play the other team though.

It wouldn't surprise me if Joel posted how amazing he was at both teams.
 
Wait what? Capcom did something right and the Resident Evil Revelations demo was awesome?

Feels like the RE game I've wanted for years now.

Seriously, co-worker brought his 3DS in with the demo. Made me half think about buying a 3Ds to play Revelations.

HouseParty Playstation Rewards is so damn awesome for the minimal effort it takes me. Thanks again for the hookup there, Joel. Loving the fact they sent us the extras from the LBP2 CE. The little sackboy plushie thing and the bookends are fuckin cool, especially for free. ^_^
