I'm having trouble with the first shock and awe and all the extremes, I think. I can get 2/3 medals on them.

So someone stole my Wii from my living room. I noticed It was gone saturday, but my roommates were not around at the time to question them. I talked to 2 of the 3 roommates today and we think either the third roommate took it or he left the door unlocked and someone else took it.

Heres the strange thing: in living room there was a 37'' TV, the Wii, a stack of Wii games, an xbox 360, a stack of :360: games, and a couple of Wii Controllers and 2 :360: controllers. The only thing that was taken was The Wii, the wii stand, the a/c adapter, A/V cables, and the sensor bar (and new super mario bros wii, which was in it).

Now that I'm looking, it looks like the NSMBW red case is gone too, but that could just have been misplaced.

Regardless, tomorrow I'm filing a stolen item report with the University police (I'm currently living in university apartments until may).
 
Wow, the thread got fucked up quick. This looks crazy now.

The only games I have close to 1000/1000 in are ME2 and Borderlands, with one missing achievement each (Insanity and leveling up to level 50, respectively). I have some games that are ovver 1000, but it's just because I got the DLC. Haven't PLat'd anything yet, but I'm close on the God of Wars and Batman.

Anyway, that sucks about your Wii BlueScrote. Since they left the 360 alone, I'm gonna assume they were Japanese thieves. Hope that helps in the investigation.

I have no idea how I even did it, I think I restarted Sewer Bat Extreme a hundred or more times before I got the trophy for all the doing every move in a combo.

It's been a while since I finished it, but I always lead off with the grapple hook pull, move around only by flipping over guys with the X Button, and aim to take out a knife or stun rod guy every time you get a throw/takedown move.

Yeah, I try most of that... I learned that if you grapple the guys with stun battons it always ends badly. :(

I'm pretty good at it, but I usually get gypped out of shit by a cheap hit or something. I did figure out that if I can get the combo meter up high enough, then start doing ground takedowns, you get like 2000+ points per.

Just abuse the crap out of the doubletap X/A dodge. You're invincible while dodging, the roll distance makes it really easy to position yourself properly and so long as you don't do it twice in a row without flipping over a thug you won't break the combo.

I can move onto other things like Pokemon and Red Faction Guerilla which I just got. But then again...I still have yet to play Mass Effect 2 and Persona 4. ARGH decisions, decisions.

I started playing Mass Effect 2. I'm interested in playing more of it after about 40 minutes, which I guess is still knee deep in the tutorial. I have all the free DLC, but no idea how to access it (or how to get the bonuses from ME1 for that matter).

If you didn't import your shepard from ME1, you can no longer get the "bonuses from ME1". Sorry man. Mostly, you didn't miss much... some extra experience (would've made a 1 run 1000/1000 easier) and some money and the paragon/renegade points I think you had.
