GGT #17 is going to be the very best!
If you didn't import your shepard from ME1, you can no longer get the "bonuses from ME1". Sorry man. Mostly, you didn't miss much... some extra experience (would've made a 1 run 1000/1000 easier) and some money and the paragon/renegade points I think you had.
But I did import. It's just not clear to me how I get that stuff for my character.

If you qualified, you should have been given bonuses when you wake up and take control of Shepard for the first time (not the interactive cut scene that sets up the story). There's little info popups if I recall that say "+level" "+credits" and some other stuff.

Impressions on ESPGaluda2: Thread Breaker are good so far from people who won the game on gaf. I know at least one guy actually knows what he's talking about.

Cave has a weird Mushihimesama Geometry Wars type game coming too:

There's only the 4 big DLC expansions for fall out 3 right?

I got both of the expansion discs from Goozex and installed them in anticipation of finally getting around to the game (have had it from Goozex for over a year) when the semester wraps up in a month and I have some more free time since I'm not teaching over the summer semesters.

There's five Fallout 3 expansions.

Operation Anchorage
Broken Steel
The Pitt
Mothership Zeta
the swampy one (haven't played it yet)

Thanks

So I'm missing Mothership Zeta as the Discs had operation Anchorage and The Pitt, and Broken Steel and Point Lookout respectively.

Zeta came in retail form as well, but I think it was just a download code inside.

What's strange is that it seemed to be a small print run, as sealed copies of Zeta sold for more than they should on ebay for a while.
Maybe they still do, used to run $30-$40.

I actually have two clearance copies I've been meaning to sell, maybe the demand is gone now.

wow, I have shadow complex on my 360...completely forgot about that game. That's that Metroidvania game starring some frat boy, right?

have to get good with Dante in DMC4. Getting killed by stupid shit in his first mission on Son of Sparda mode.

Yeah, I can just download it. I just preferred the discs for the others so I could use goozex points (and trade the discs back to recoup all or some of the points) vs. having to spend cash on the downloads.

So much for not buying games solely for trophy whoring purposes - picked up Matt Hazard for 5 dollars with Blockbusters B1G1.

I smell like stripper.....

That "lunch" was way more wild than I expected it to ever get.

I can't believe my co-workers... WTF!

Now back at work, ugh.

You have a work to go back to! ;)

I'm grateful for what I have, believe me.

Yay, deathsmiles pre-orders are up @amazon!

What do strippers smell like? I imagine roughly the same thing Bayonetta smells like.

Mixture of sweet sweat, and a citrus extract.

She was probably the closest to Bayonetta as far as looks actually. Hmmmm, this has changed everything.

Ha, was actually my first time in that kind of place. Nicer than I expected.
Seeing my co-workers act like that, both the guys and women, made it worth it.
Even if my damn Coke cost $6.75!

speaking of strippers, kinda disappointed there's no Death Smile regular edition. do not want a loli goth love pillow, just wanna play ur game thx.

then again, i always complain about shmup marketing in the states, so it's biting me in the ass ten fold

fuck this shit, i'm taking a break from my paper to play some mushi-fukken-himesama futari

I have never actually been in to a strip club.

Just ebay the shit you don't want. I'm sure some moron will buy it from you.

I wonder how much the bonus stuff would fetch on eBay. Wonder who would buy it, overseas Cave fanatics, or just plain loli loving otakus.

 your job sounds awesome.

So I went around my apartment building with my wii remotes looking for my wii-- no luck so far. I'm still holding out hope though, because whoever would steal that, and not the Wii games or the Xbox is, obviously, stupid.

Geometry Wars 2 is fun. Worth 400pts.

Haha, they have this really distinct sent. I think they all use the same lotion, but last night I went to a new s club with my friends and it was amazing. Every chick was hot, haven't been in a while and forgot how much fun they are.

Oh and GoW3's Aphrodite room was awesome as well, perfect combo.

thank u amazon for matching walmarts $10 credit deal for ssfiv!

pushed me over the edge to get the game for $27 without the aid of promo credit :D
yay eca

also yay for getting galaxy 2 at launch for $20.99 with bing cashback credit and bc2 credit

Last night I played a good bit of Saints Row 2 and my character looks like an extremely generic version of my main Commander Shepard.

Except British, too!

Never could get into Saints Row 2. I'll probably end up trading it soon.

Might stay up and play some FF13 tonight. The boss is on vacation so I really haven't got much to do tomorrow.

Espgaluda II is like getting a steak at a moderately priced restaurant. You order it medium rare and hope for the best, but expect little. The steak comes on a golden platter, cooked masterfully without the slightest hint of imperfection and topped by the most delectable steak sauce. Your knife glides right through its juicy tenderness, and as you finally take that first bite, a single teardrop rolls down your cheek. Perfection.

Finished God of War 3 today (and 1 and 2 within the last week or so)

Spoilers within...

Thought the pacing was pretty odd in the 3rd one. You murder every non-Zeus god within the first 3-4 hours, then spend the next 4 hours chasing Pandora/Box/Flame.

Highlights of the game for me were the Cronos fight, Sorbo Hercules, and drunk Hera.

On the trophy front, I came up one Minotaur horn and 400 orbs short of the horn and max out all weapons trophy :/. Oh well, I'll get them on the titan playthrough. Not looking forward to doing the labyrinth without dying/falling.

just make sure you save at every save point once you complete the previous section without dying. it's not entirely terrible.

If you're really having trouble just quit to the title screen and reload your autosave every time you die. Functions the same as restarting from the last checkpoint but you'll get the trophy anyway.

heh, yeah, that would also work... but I didn't trust autosave.

now if getting this fucking blue ribbon trophy in World at War would just be as cooperative... >.

ugh World at War. I traded it in after getting stuck on the part where you are running up a hill behind a tank to get to the caves. No thank you Treyarch.

I basically 1000/1000 the 360 version and am in the middle of platinum'ing the ps3 version. I'm missing the last two missions on veteran and this stupid competitive coop trophy.

I'll have to settle for the McDonald's steak (iphone version) this saturday. and the real deal sometime in the future.

After eating at Morton's, I'm not going to be going to McDonald's this Saturday. Not anymore.

Haha, I'm loving RF:G, I really should've given this game more of a chance when I rented it forever ago. Still surprised by how much the main character looks like default Commander Shepard.
Not quite what I meant. ;)
in that case i hope it lasts until they ship halo reach  otherwise im gonna have to burn my gs credit

One thing I was very happy about in God of War 3, they kept the Satyrs to a bare minimum. I'd say maybe 10 of them in the entire game.

Satyrs were the most annoying enemy in the entire series. They wree the worst in GoW1, in 3 they werent too bad because you don't fight too many, and the subweapons are pretty decent against them.

Satyrs aren't shit once you realize you can grapple them into oblivion.

Just Cause 2 is almost my perfect game.

I could fly planes around all day in that game. So beautiful. Such incredible environments.
Satyrs aren't shit once you realize you can grapple them into oblivion.
Yeah, I realized that when fighting the last 2 of them in the game. Another enemy that you can slap around pretty easily now are the scythe throwing ones, just jam on L1 and O and you'll rip them out of the ground, juggle, and backbreaker them over and over again.

Goddamn I suck at Halo 3. I don't know any of the fucking maps and I just led my team to stunning defeat.

Ah well, I got promoted out of it. Level 5 bay-bee!
