What else do you consider a bad chocolate bar?

I need to know if you hate good things.
Kinder bueno comes immediately to mind. Their eggs are glorious, but the bars? Turrible. Not sure if they even sell those in the US.

Not a big fan of kit-kats, either.
I've been practicing Kazuya's mist step all day, and incredibly elementary juggle combos, lol.

Tried Xiaoyu, who I want as a tag, but christ she's complicated.
Kazyua's mist step = Jin's special step? f > n > d > df?

I can do it easier on a pad and in tekken 6... but yeah, that's not a problem totally.
I'm having a problem with links and chains, apparently.

Take it back. Asshole.

EDIT: Also, a friend invited me today to try out DOTA2. I have no experience with dota. At all. But he's promising me that it is super awesome funtimes, and I'll admit that I did enjoy what I could understand of the International matches. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it. He's telling me that the fact that I suck at RTS isn't a huge deal, it's more important that I'm a team player and smart enough to support and understand objectives and blah blah blah. My response to every point has been, "It's dota, those people are assholes. What's in it for me?"

I can do it all day long across screen, it's just easy to mix up with a qcf command during combos.

But yeah, feeling overwhelmed with all the combos. I need to know which ones to use!

Wonder what would happen if Chiktikka Fast Paws, raccoon companion of the god of gnomes, got into a fight with Boo, miniature giant space hamster.

Interesting.

I like Kit-kats but I very much dislike a chocolate bar everyone seems to love
Snickers

I prefer its non peanut brother that's named after a galaxy.

i think you just need to find the right flavor.

like this one:

CORN

Nutrageous was the greatest candy bar of all time but I don't think they make it anymore.

Honorable mentions to Snickers Peanut Butter, Take 5, Twix and Reese Cups (especially those ones with the cookie on the bottom that existed years ago).

Also shoutouts to Surge (the soda). I miss you QQ

SFxT does indeed have a pretty steep learning curve. It's fun though.

Don't forget to mess around in training mode, trials can always wait till later.

Yooo, the netcode in SFxT is legit as fuck. Definitely uses a rollback implementation which I saw a few instances of, but damn is it good compared to SFIV. Yes, it has the sound "glitch" issue during matches sometimes, but it plays great.

Seeeeeeeeeeeeeecreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

Vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeentiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!

Played some more Uncharted 1 last night--played through chapters 3-9. I'm liking the game a lot--pretty much a mix of Prince of Persia/Assassin's Creed (the climbing etc.) with Gears of War in an Indiana Jone's like setting.

I die a shit ton though, which gets old at times when it's due to crappy camera angles when climbing/jumping, and the games more combat heavy than I'd like (needs more exploration focused sections).

But still a fun game, and looks damn good for a 2007 game.

Hoping to get through it by the weekend, but will put it aside and put some time into ME3 over the weekend either way. Want to wait until I have a solid block of hours to put into ME3, rather than just playing 1-2 hours a night on weeknights this week.

urrrgh... I want to grab ACB from this sale for $14.50, but I'm a little sketchy about buying it digitally so I can't resell once I finish. Maybe I'll just wait for a physical copy to be less than $15 from GF or something and put that $15 towards something else.

Hmmm, if you're not happy with some of the mix of combat and exploration, you will most likely be disappointed with Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2 has a few sections where you just explore, but overall there are less puzzles and it's more action-focused. Personally, Uncharted is my favorite in the series (maybe tied with Uncharted 3).

Oh, I wouldn't say I'm disappointed as the combat sections are mostly fun. Just seems like a game that could benefit from more puzzle/exploration sections mixed in ala Tomb Raider etc.

Do the guns get better in the sequel? That's my one gripe with the combat is the guns don't feel right. The AK47 in particular sucks. I end up using the default pistol most and just switching to the AK when some enemies get closer.

But I have all 3 games on the shelf, so I'll play through them all eventually (with some breaks to play other stuff in the backlog in between).

Sure is. Do I want to know what's pissing you off specifically? :3

The AK47 does suck. You want the M14 or M16, whichever it is. If you're not happy with the AK47, carry a shotgun, preferably SAS-12 and use your pistol of choice for everything else. :)

He was mad about the Arrival DLC in ME2 because ME3 picks up from that, and he hadn't played Arrival yet.

I called that over in the OTT when someone asked if they should worry about Arrival before starting ME3. I believe my thoughts were "there are no universe altering choices that would carry forward, so as long as they recap the events competently..."

Well luckily I don't think he actually started ME3 yet. He had asked me about whether he should play Arrival first, and I said it leads into 3.

I don't know how ME3 starts, if they give you a recap good enough to explain what happened in Arrival, but you shouldn't *need* to play it... I think, most likely, the only DLC that would have implications is Shadow Broker and even then the ME3 demo kind of shot that one to hell, save for the relationship portion.

Did you try to warn the Batarian planet or not before dumping the asteroid into the mass effect relay?

Rest of it, can't see what would carry over.
Well luckily I don't think he actually started ME3 yet. He had asked me about whether he should play Arrival first, and I said it leads into 3.
It's preferrable, as it gives backstory into ME3, though it's not direly important like LoTSB might be, or possibly Overlord.

Shadow Broker should tied into ME3 for what happens at the end of it. Overlord might also have some implications with ME3, depending on what you did at the end of it as well.

Stolen Memory shouldn't, and Arrival would only have one item I can see, mentioned above.

Yeah, I'd assume ME3 would recap what happens in Arrival, but I know for me personally, I would want to get the full experience of something relevant to the main plot rather than the sparknotes version.

I heard that ME3 starts out with
Shepard on trial for the events of Arrival.

As for Lair of the Shadow Broker, I also suggested that Mikey play that, but since it isn't directly related to the main plot, he said he's gonna skip it until he goes through the whole series again this summer.
Shut your mouth, Josh. You wouldn't even get on Skype last night. :nottalking:
Sorry, I fell asleep at 8 and slept for 13 hours.

I finished up ME2 last night, all except Arrival which I might do again and that wouldn't take me long either, I also installed ME3 on my PC.

Me and Uraizen played some matches of SFxT and had some fun screwing around (it was funny when I learned that the Sony cats can't jump over Hugo because he's too big, haha). After that I went and did some trials of characters, made it up to around 17 for Poison, Lili, and Julia. So far my thoughts are:

Poison - Love her animations, doesn't seem too complicated, never really used a rekka character so I need to practice getting better at doing hers

Lili - Seems interesting, but her trials had a lot of links in them, and she has a lot of different abilities, so she seems complicated to me

Julia - I actually really like her, she doesn't have lots of links, but since she has a bunch of named combo chain inputs (I think the attack animations change for those chains) you kind of have to learn those, luckily it got a lot easier when I learned that even though it says stuff like: forward MK, HP, forward P you can actually hold forward during the entire thing for all of hers, once I knew that it got a lot easier to perform them. She does seem fairly complicated as well though, haha.

lol Understandable. I could use more sleep myself.

I told Uraizen and Icebeast you were probably wearing your gimp mask and locked up in some basement dungeon.
