Personally, I don't think it necessarily comes down to interests, I just wear my nerdiness proudly, plenty of shirts/hoodies, a mario wallet, and a wife with nerdy tatoos (Mass Effect, Dr. Who) doesn't hurt either.
That's basically what I do too (minus the wife with nerdy tatoos, haha). My wallet is one with an NES controller on it, I've had it 8 or 9 years now (I've had lots of people complement me on it). My backup I take to work is covered in pins, got League of Legends, Tales of, Earthbound, Nintendo stuff, Chobits, all the Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask, etc... I've got lots of game and comic related shirts and hoodies (I'm wearing my batgirl shirt and shoes right now). Got lots of nifty prints and wallscrolls on to decorate the walls of my apartment from a wide range of anime, games, and comics. And my desk at work is fairly well covered in what one friend calls my kids toy shop, haha, got a whole ton of plushes on there as well as some figures of characters I like. You would never mistake me for not being a total geek, but that's who I am.
