I thought they got better? I had an ATI card maybe 6 years ago and that shit was awfull.
From what I've seen, they actually got worse.
most of my deaths in DS II were acquired by me falling into a pit
This sounds like some of my deaths in Demon's Souls... until I discovered I could lead enemies into pits. I lured plenty of men into my pit in 2-2... :bouncy:
I got my copy of ORC in the mail today.

fuck Yeah!
I am equally as excited.

Been playing more Bloodrayne Betrayal. Game continues to get worse as it continues. Pixel Perfect Platforming with somewhat delayed controls isn't the greatest idea in the world.

In contrast I've been playing a good game with tight controls and mechanics, Metroid Fusion. It's definitely not as pretty as Bloodrayne Betrayal, but it still looks good for a 10 year old handheld game. It also plays a million times better.

fuck you guys, I'm gonna miss you assholes.

I'm gone for the next week. Camping bitches, go outside for once.

*sniff Bye sniff*

Hm, Sleeping Dogs seems to be the Chinese version of Yakuza so far. I like it, but I also feel like I should be disappointed even though I'm not really. At least not yet....

Seriously, Sleeping Dogs is a documentary about me.

Activision was worried they would have to pay me royalties, so they scrapped it. In the process SE picked up the game and told me to "fuck-off" because they were a Japanese company they said it was a generic "everyday asian man" story.

I want my monies bitches!
Twofer?! :bouncy:
Nah.
Hell yeah, Mikey, mah $$$$a!!
Nope, not even that cool.

Guys I have a hangover, I've slept a total of two hours, and I have work in 6 hours.
And I need to get these people out of my house before my mom comes home.

It doesn't really feel anything like Yakuza to me other than it being about organized crime. I am really enjoying the game. Definitely the surprise hit of the year for me.

The beginning parts of Sleeping Dogs is exactly like Yakuza. The melee and multi-enemy combat pretty much IS Yakuza, but with Batman AA/AC-style counters. Obviously that changes once I get guns and can drive around, but I haven't gotten to that point yet.

BTW, I do like the game and am very amused right now. It seems like it will only get better, and this will tide me over until Borderlands 2.

Once you get to the actual game it definitely feels more like a GTA. I actually just finished it earlier today and I can't believe Activision cancelled this game. It's a quality product.

This actually sounds awesome. I loved the fighting in Yakuza but it was a bit too Japanese for me.

On that Kixeye thing, I'm really interested. Actually really, really interested. They however are not looking for writers so I can't send them any of my samples.

Edit: Actually, their User Acquisition Manager position sounds pretty great, too. Too bad that I have no prior experience so I have no hope of getting the job. I understand they want the best, but since they're just starting out they should be a little bit more lax on the requirements. Especially after that Curt Schilling horror story.

Because a game called Yakuza about gangsters in Japan needed more Michael Madsen. :bouncy:

hehe, I kid. ;)

I realized how xenophobic it sounded as I typed it out. I don't know I found a lot of the japanese culture stuff in Yakuza 2 interesting yet a bit over my head. Like how the hell do you play Mahjong?
Yakuza isn't any of those things.

It's fuckin Shenmue.
Actually it's what Shenmue would be like if it was good.

Does anyone remember what game this song is from?

Aha, it's from Dark Cloud 2.

It sounds like a song Sakaguchi would have play over one of his shitty scripts, so he could play it off like his characters are charming and not autistic.

"Terrible" is roiling hyperbole.
Then it's a very mild RTS. I think that's fair.

Hell yeah.

I'll never understand the love that Shenmue gets. I've owned that game since the day it came out on the Dreamcast and I've always thought it sucked. Lots of neat ideas, terrible game.

Awesome.

What does Sleeping Dogs say when I play it?

Also, why did I preorder WoW Panda Love? Installing the beta now. SMH....
