GOTY if Ground Zeroes isn't released this year
Haha seems like there might be some mixed opinions on this one, good to see a fan that likes it, it seems really fun from what I saw

Also, I need to play more Dragon's Dogma :/ I enjoyed it but barely touched it, I keep seeing one of my friends on it now recently as well.

I was talking about gunnm's GOTY.

He can totally claim Rising if he doesn't feel like Dark Arisen is eligible.

I totally understand that.
I wonder if they actually beliieve people will buy it this time around
If you're talking about Rising, people are already buying it.

If you're talking about Dragon's Dogma, unlike DmC, it actually sold well.

they sold a million copies

the only reason they made any money off it
was because they barely advertised outside of hardcore channels
and because of Japan

ps development costs for this game were high as fuck

I don't understand what you're arguing against. That it didn't sell? Cuz a million is a lot, especially for a new IP.

And then there's DmC which can't get over 200K.

I'm not sure what that word means
But I wouldnt use it in the future

Im not segagging against anything.
But if I was the head producer of that game
I wouldnt have been too happy with those sales
it had the potential to do alot better

when you have a good game like that
sales fall upon your marketing pr ect
they didnt do a very good job
at all even if they were on a tight budget

It probably did. I saw a lot of generic environments when Uraizen was playing it.

And they probably didn't spend any money on QA testing, as is apparent.

I noticed a lot of you have more then one system, do you all generally play on the 360, PS3, or Wii/U? Just wondering since most of the games talked about here are multiplatform.

GUNMM, Jimbo, and I lean heavily on the 360.

I think everybody else is PS3 mostly, except for a couple like Joel that tend to be on both.

Gotcha, I use the 360 a lot more myself, and tend to only use my other consoles for exclusives/too play with friends (although most of mine are on 360 as well).

It's like I'm falling in love all over again.

Yeah....I really hope they don't do that, I usually will end up all of the consoles in the long run due to exclusives and such, but depending on that happening and the pricing of the new consoles this generation may work out a little different for me when it comes to the order I buy them in.

I'm usually a one console person I'm missing out on a lot of great games on PS3 and would have bought that Ascension bundle but its way too much especially since PS 4 is coming this december reportedly.

I can understand not wanting to buy a system now with the new ones coming out, the only thing that I think sucks is how they are handling backwards compatibility and such, but I'll just keep my old systems for when I want to play them (Definitely something that I like that Nintendo kept in with the Wii U).
