GGT 245 Will Look Up and Shout, "Save Us," and Sony Will Whisper, "Sure."

Wind Waker looks gorgeous but I probably need that money to go towards a PS4 since I already beat it on the cube. WOOT Wonderful 101.

Yeah, WindWaker is probably my most anticipated of the HD remakes coming out, I love the Zelda series though. Donkey Kong and Wonderful 101 both also look fun.

OK, quick numbers because it's late and I'm bored.

PS4 is 10.8 x 2.08 x 12 inches, weighs 6.1 pounds, according to Sony's listed specs.

PS3 Slim (middle child model) is 11.42 x 2.56 x 11.42 inches, weighs 7.05 pounds. Pretty impressive that the PS4 is thinner and less wide than the PS3 Slim, and weighs almost a pound less.

Also PS4 comes with an HDMI cable (finally), and a mono headset that plugs into the controller (finally). No more excuses, PSN Mutes. :nottalking:

If you're curious about the spec sheet. . .http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/release/pdf/130611a_e.pdf
but with the ps+ fee to play multiplayer online, the headset is useless to me. I do not play enough online multiplayer games to justify the Ps+ subscription fees. I will still get a ps4 for the single player games. I will not get it on launch tho.

Mega Man. 3DS Smash. There's shit all over my chair. I don't even know what happened. Not hating owning a Wii U right now.

X looks freaking awesome.
Yes, it looks soooooooooo good, still want to see more on how it says player 2/3/4 and how the multi works.

Yeah, with how it looks I might be picking it up on both systems, looks so good

SMASH BROS
Agreed :D

what new mega man?
He's playable in the new Smash Brothers

Yeah, with how it looks I might be picking it up on both systems, looks so good
Oh, I definitely am. My hands are tied. Also way in for anything from Monolith after Xenoblade.
Yeah, even though I basically knew what games Nintendo was going to show I was still really excited to see more info on them lol, they probably have the most guaranteed buys for me atm

Wow, there's a lot of games from the Nintendo Direct that I'm definitely interested in.  WiiU will finally have some games over the next year or two. That Monolith game looks particularly cool.

- Pikmin 3

- Smash

- Mario 3D World

- DK Country Tropical Freeze

- Monolith's X

- Wonderful 101

- Bayonetta 2

- Wind Waker HD

- Mario Kart 8 (and this one is a surprise for me, because I thought the series was stale, but this one actually looks fun and creative)

I'm pretty pleased with both Sony and Nintendo this E3.

This is exactly the reason these remakes are shooting Nintendo in the foot. I played the dick out of WW back in the day. The same was true of OoT, or any other console Zelda (save the last two).

It's nice to have pretty HD graphics or stereoscopic 3D or whatever the fuck, but if they keep recycling old titles, they're killing themselves, because they're failing on two fronts: 1) new gamers don't know the titles to begin with, and they may not be particularly interested in jumping in and 2) old gamers are feeling the pimp hand something fierce.

I don't see how Nintendo can sustain itself in the console business. They just keep fucking up. Best to go all-in on handhelds.

Killer Instinct is free-to-play with one free character. Pile that on top of the art and format and I realize I don't feel bad about missing out on it at all.

Super pumped for Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, and Bayonetta 2.

So for this E3, I'd have to say Sony wins, followed by Nintendo, and then MS way in the back.

fuck yeah I'm going to main the shit out of combo. I bet he's the free shitty character

Nintendo's stuff although looks quality is just way way too much of the same. Not that every other company doesn't do it too but I don't know, those titles are really starting to lose their weight. Just too predictable. HD Wind Waker looks good but it's not enough to push me to get a Wii U. I think for now I'll just keep rocking the 3DS.

Nintendo didn't really tell anything anyone didn't know. MS took one on the chin for the industry, but at least they had some new stuff. Nintendo used E3 to announce new characters in a title that was already known to exist and is, by its nature, bound to have shitloads of selectable characters. They wasted time. I mean, I know they don't take E3 seriously anymore, but if they're going to look that bad, why even show up?

M$ has nothing to really make me want an xbox especially for $500 fuck that.

I bet gamefly and gamestop cheered just as much as the crowd did.

All I know is that Nintendo showed the most games that made me go "hey, I want to play that!" I wasn't expecting a whole bunch of brand new game announcements since Nintendo has been doing a Direct each month. I mainly just wanted to see that the stuff they have for WiiU over the next year actually looks fun, and not stripped down or gimmicky.

Microsoft showed a whole bunch of new stuff that doesn't interest me. In fact, Dead Rising 3 and Killer Instinct were hugely disappointing compared to what they could've been. And they definitely didn't do anything to make me feel better about all the terrible aspects of the console itself. Oh and the price point was the final nail in the coffin.

I would have liked to see more new, unrevealed games from Nintendo. I already knew all of this shit was coming out. And I only want to play Pokemon X and Y and A Link Between Worlds. Everything else was meh. Sony > Microsoft > Nintendo in this humble fan's eyes.

Gamestop takes RROD 360s... but do they take banned RROD 360s? :whistle2:k

X is the big RPG Monoliths been working on (Like Xenoblade)

The only one coming out for 3DS is Smash, they are really focusing on getting good games out on the Wii U which is great

But that misses the point of E3. By your reasoning, if Nintendo would've spent their entire E3 talking about why MKDD is a much better karting game than MK64 in excrutiating detail and showing 45 minutes of slides of Orange Spice gamecube controllers in different configurations, then I'd be in here claiming that "Nintendo WON E3 ERRBODY."

Sony generated interest in the PS4. MS got bounced but still made an attempt at detailing how the Xbone will go down. Nintendo told us everything we already know. That's not necessarily bad if they put some salesmanship into the presentation, but they didn't do that. It was dry as dammit. Nobody except for devoted Nintendo fans gives a shit about the WIIU after that E3, and those people were already sold from the Direct streams.

Yes, they do. I don't think they actually have a way to check if it's banned.

Well I suppose it's all personal preference for which games actually interest you. For me, it's usually the more cartoony or wacky games that interest me. Platinum is one of my favorite modern game developers and Pikmin 3 is pretty much my most wanted sequel across any series. So it's easy to see why I'm excited about the WiiU lineup.

(1) It's an open world game with mechs from the people that made Xenoblade. http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/11/new-monolith-soft-game-x-marks-the-spot-on-wii-u-2014/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+weblogsinc%2Fjoystiq+(Joystiq)

(2) I was naming the WiiU lineup. For the 3DS, there's SMT:IV, LTTP sequel, Pokemon X/Y, new Etrian Odyssey, Mario & Luigi Dream Team, Smash Bros., new Yoshi's Island.

Ok, so E3 for Nintendo was a giant bust for me. Thanks Ninty!

I don't follow the first part of your point, but I will say that nothing they announced will make me run out and buy a WiiU, so I might be an example of the "nobody" mentioned in your last sentence.

First part was to say general value of E3 is to move consoles. I may revere Orange Spice GCN controller, but it don't sell WIIUs.

At this point I'm so disappointed in N that I don't think I'd buy a WIIU if they released it in Orange Spice. And monogrammed it with "DOTTIE RULZ." That's not good. I once bought a Hostess Sno Ball around halloween because the color reminded me a little of Orange Spice, and I hate Sno Balls.

I should try to trade my two extra xboxes then and strongly consider booting my main one. They have a 30% trade bonus if you "put it toward something featured at E3". I'm sure I could put it toward some Vita/PS3/3DS games or something, right? Do you know how much they give for old RROD 360s? Also, what's required when you trade a 360 console to them, do you know?

Sony and Nintendo far outclassed MS's conference for me. The only things that got me going for the first hour were MGS5 and Witcher 3, neither of which I'll be playing on an XBOne.

Just preordered PS4 at GS. Glad I've got this gen of Nintendo covered because I'm pretty much all in.

Also, can't wait for Watchdogs.

Yoshi's Island might be good, I suppose, but I'm not sure I loved Yoshi's Island 2... I can't remember.

Already knew about LttP and don't care about the rest really. Thanks again, Ninty! Where's my classic 2D Metroid game (for 3DS)? I think that's all I really want for it at this point. Though a Donkey Kong throwback to the GB color game would be awesome too, IMO.

What? I think I lost you on that first paragraph. I'm just saying that for me, I liked what Nintendo showed because it made me excited for the future of the WiiU. The fact that a lot of the games they showed were already announced didn't make it so those games don't exist. And many of those games weren't officially announced yet, or nothing concrete had been shown. Their presentation generated more interest in me for the WiiU than Microsoft's did for the XBone, hence why I ranked Nintendo's presentation higher.

Yeah, you could put it towards games as long as they have them in whatever book with that promotion in it. Each console will need its power cord, a/v cord, and a wired or wireless controller. RROD phats will get about $35 with a wireless controller or one with a wired controller will get $5. Because promos only work towards working items your RROD 360s won't get the promo added to them, though.
