srsly dont. I beat in two days without focusing on it much. Plus it's kinda a mess that works against it.
But I liked the demo? :(
Dude, I love vintage audio equipment. That Marantz is , but you didn't get it.
I think my parents have one of those that they still use. I remember playing with the dials all the time when I was a little kid.
But I liked the demo? :(
I've heard good things about the co-op (as I haven't played it online), but skip it if you're playing only for single player. It seemed pretty good when I first played it, but compared to a lot of other games I've played recently, it's not that good.

The executions make you feel like a bad ass at first, but towards the end of the game, it begins to drag on. I found myself wanting the game to end at about the third last mission. This is pretty bad considering the single player is only about 8 hours.

splinter cell conviction is worth about 15 tops. Im almost done with it, its just not good. The level where you're in a flashback was pretty badass, and accounts for 10 of the 15 the game is worth dollar wise.

Get RDR if you need a new game, its fabulous.
But I liked the demo? :(
I'd say definitely get it if you have any interest in the online co-op. The single player campaign is great if you play stealthy (the demo is a good indicator), but short. The co-op, however, can add many hours to your playtime. You might want to consider getting it even if you only want the single player because you could probably sell it right afterward and make your money back.
That was the worst level in the game IMO. They took out the stealth, which is what makes the game so good. If you play Conviction as a third person shooter, it becomes a terrible game.

I don't think I'll get RDR, but I have my reasons.

Played some more Lost Planet 2 today. I'm now on Episode III. Since I have a very short work week, I'm going to try playing a ton of games this weekend.

Started up Bioshock to and played for around 2 hours. Digging it so far. Played up to getting the ticket to get into Ryan's Amusement and saved at the entrance.

Corrected for emphasis.
So I bought Alpha Protocol but I'm scared to open it.
It's probably better than Sonic 2006, so it's a GOTY candidate for you. :bouncy:

But let's be real, it's probably not as good as

Nothing is as good as that.....

And Sonic is Game of The Decade. I think I'll play it right now........................

Back when it came out I bought DLC for it >_>
What are the reasons?
wondering the same. It's the only rockstar game I think people should regret if they at least don't give it a chance.

Is the co-op offline as well?

TMK's reason is it wasn't made by japan
So how does the new Prince of Persia play? Does it play like the cel-shaded game? Or more like the last gen trilogy? And if the later, it it more like the Sands of Time which I loved, or the latter two with their "extreme!" edge and more focus on combat?

Just curious. I liked Sands of Time a good bit, and LOVED the cel shaded one. Didn't care for the other two last gen (didn't play much of the third though). This new one I'd assumed was more like those latter two and just a quick movie cash in from what I'd seen. But maybe that was the wrong impression?
Well I'd say it's all over the place as far as which of the previous games it resembles. Gameplay wise it is very similar to Sands of Time, but that's about the only thing it takes from it. It's not quite as easy as PoP 2008 (which I really enjoyed as well), in the sense that you don't have a princess to save you each time in this game. It does however have a "power" you get that allows you to rewind time (with a limited amount of usage). Story is nothing grand so far, but it's keeping me interested. I wouldn't pay the full $60 for it, but I'd say it's worth the $40 I paid.

The princess saving you is just a different take on a death animation -- instead of a dead body and continue, the princess hucks you back to the last *checkpoint* with magic. Oh no, no bloody death screens where I can choose whether or not to continue?! This game is on baby mode.

Now, that's not saying the game is difficult by any means. But in a game which emphasizes exploration at your own pace and enjoying the environment, is taking people out of the game to show them a death screen and if if they'd like to load the last checkpoint really worth dispelling the illusion that you can't die?

You need proof? There's a reason there's an achievement/trophy for less than 100 "saves" from the princess.

I'm just sayin'... :D

Aw fuck. Now you got me wanting to play it again. *Searches for a cheap copy for PS3*

Seems that an XBLA version of Sonic Riders from the last generation will be made for Natal. Doesn't really bode well for the visual capabilities of Natal games if that's one of the bigger games.

And somehow, I can't fault you. Probably lack of interest in both games. :p

I see where your coming from and I understand what your saying. I wasn't trying to bash on the last PoP for having Elika be able to save you from a "your dead" screen, and like I said I really enjoyed the game. Even with all the "darkness" it had a sense of tranquility to it.

Annddd I have the "Be Gentle With Her" trophy so I know all about that lol.

The game is fairly cheap now pretty much everywhere, I really want the UK exclusive steelbook of it but I dont want to have to buy it from eBay.

I just want it for less than $15.
I would not be proud of that...
I've been playing it for a few hours and it's not a bad game. Seems to be getting a lot of undeserved hate. Some of the review scores it's getting are ridiculous

Yea, I'm definitely still interested in it. Keep us updated on how it is, I want to know!

And also "v____games" (don't even want to type the first word!) should be known as... wait for it... wait for it...
vames
. Huh huh!?
Is the co-op offline as well?

Yeah.
Yeah I never played the cel-shaded PoP, but the lack of a death screen was something that I thought sounded really great.
I loved the lack of a death screen. Especially with a game like Prince of Persia which can involve some trial and error, it made the game flow much better.

Well hopefully the deal is still up tomorrow so I can order it, as I don't have the chance to do it tonight. I love me some sneaky shit.

I really want to pick Alpha Protocol up soon but I'm going to wait for a deal on it. Besides I need to finish a few games before I grab more anyway.

well finally ordered bayonetta for $25+tax thanks to the gs sale and having a $10 coupon

couldnt wait any longer since it refused to drop in price and the price was good enough

I need to go and replay it on a higher difficulty. It has the best combat system of any game I've ever played.
SO when does the new Auto Modelista come out?
?!

The first one was flawed as all hell but still pretty compelling and beautiful. I'd give a new one a shot.

I want Alpha Protocol and Blur. But i will only pay about $40 for both. Combined.

Natal is a huge waste of time for microsoft. They should just scrap the shit and focus on what works.

I'm getting really frustrated with the new announcements lately. Everything is about the fucking technology. Which is another way to say, time to pay up.

3D tvs, natal, move, vitality sensor, etc. etc. Everything is based on you spending more money on bullshit gimmicks.

I'm gonna go play super mario galaxy 2.

Job interview today at 12pm.
I don't want to jinx it, but I know the managers and a VP there (all ex-Citi and ex-GE employees) so it's almost a sure thing.
It doesn't pay as much though, but I think I'd take it while I take some classes and hopefully move on to something bigger.

Good luck to my favorite dallop!

I played some more RDR today. And I must say I do not enjoy using the Gatling gun at all.... Something just feels odd about it.

I think I saw Wombat yesterday when I was on my way to see Conan last night.

When did amazon stop letting people trade games in with USPS? Now I'll have to go drop it off at the UPS store...

Maybe I just got it confused with Goozex or something... Whatever I've got 4 days off so I can make some time to drop by the UPS store.

Indeed.

I loved AC 2, and did damn near everything. The DLC, all the assassination contracts, races, beat up events etc.

But I wasn't about to waste time on that pointless collectathon crap with the feathers. That shit went out of style with the N64.
