Samuel Ivan Lopez de Victoria III = WOLF OF fuckIN' VICTORIA?!?!? Dude, how are you not king of the fuckin' world?
Easy answer: cuz it's me who has the last name, not some badass purple haired silent type that rides a dolphin into the night sky and licks atomic lolipops made of children's flesh only to smile every night he kills a virgin maiden... or something

It's always odd coming back home to michigan from wisconsin because it's like, where did all the bars/beer tents/miller vending machines go?

To be honest, I really feel like replying to the jerk that made a blog about my blog, but my response is completely innappropriate and I would hate to get banned over it. Alcohol = angry bitch mode. ha ha ha.

I seriously doubt you would get banned. Take out your drunken rage!

What can I say? You mess with a woman's feelings, your going to get burned. By the way, thanks for the support guys. I feel like I was a little lost puppy and you guys took me in. I

At least I now have a vague idea of what the original blog post was about.
I might not test video games, but I definitely test software, and I can say that I really don't *love* my job. :whistle2:?
hooray for QA!

It's fine to vent, but I don't know that I necessarily agree with the "because of people like you" unless you know more about him than I do (from the blog post you commented on). Other than that, I'm with you. People who clicked on the post and chose to start the video? It's their own damn fault if they didn't like it. Freedom of speech, etc.

Now as for good old TMK standing up for you by saying:
The Mana Knight - Today, 07:14 AM

Cheska can post what she wants to. If you all don't want to read/see it, then don't. I'm pretty sure there are plenty who avoid reading my blog because they hate them. But since many tried to watch the video after seeing what the blog title was (if I'm not mistaken), many of you possibly have yourselves to blame. If I see a blog I rather not read, I just skip it and read another.

Happy Independance Day to all Americans!

And Happy fuck You Day to everyone else!

Let's blow some shit up and drink to excess! It's gonna be great! Shock and awe, mutherfuckers!
The guy who made the blog referred to you as "some guy"... So something tells me none of this had anything to do with gender.
The last part of my post actually had nothing to do with that guy's blog. I was just making a generalization about the GGT, since besides Shinra, who occasionally posts in here, I believe I'm the only girl, and everyone here has seriously been nothing but pleasant and great.

But I am glad to see that since I posted on that guy's blog, the next people who have commented all had my back, so that's nice =)

Hopping back on topic, I beat the Decepticon campaign for Transformers last night. The game continues to be fun, but the boss battles are getting rediculous. Actually the boss battle I'm currently working on (In Autobots) is probably the worse I've encountered thus far.

I really liked the final boss of the decepticon campaign, although it got kind of ridiculous at the one point where you can get 1-shotted.

Loving the autobot campaign so far-- Its full of some really great fan service for G1 fans.

although bumblebee and Ironhide don't sound right. Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense because in the 80s cartoon ironhide was voiced by the same guy as optimus.

Man, I really sound like a nerd now.

I completely agree with you, I can't stant Bumblebee's voice

I've been playing through Deathsmiles and I have come to the conclusion that I am never going to 1cc this game. It's still a hell of a lot of fun, but I just don't have the attention span to not run into something randomly at least once per level. Ah well, there are still a few endings I need to see. :bouncy:

(I'm wonder if there's a replay video of some dude doing beating it on one credit at Level 999 along with the two extra levels... If such a video exists, that person must be a robot.)

My copy of Deathsmiles has yet to come in from Amazon, but I am super excited to play it. I was even more ecstatic when someone mentioned it's even funner to play with a fight stick, until I realized that all three of my fightsticks are for the PS3 :whistle2:#

Really?! I've yet to buy a fight stick and I wouldn't mind picking one up for the 360... I was planning on buying the fight stick for the PS3, but I only have the original Blazblue.

I wonder how 1.1 would work with a fightstick... Seeing as how you need both analog sticks, one to control your character and the other to control the monster.

...and I think you'll be pleased. Deathsmiles is pretty awesome. :)

Well I wouldn't buy one for the sole purpose of this game, but it's absolutely excellent for fighters. Btw, your message about Disgaea Infinite totally convinced me to pick it up. Which I'm glad I did, because it was hard to find in my area :O.

Well then maybe you can jump in for that part and help me beat them because I was close to breaking my new white DS3, and THAT would make me mad.

I would help you,but I rented it. I already returned it. =/
I don't remember that part right off. There was several parts I was at with one bar left. I did beat the game though and still can't believe they finally made a good Transformers game.
I beg to differ, there was already a good one.

I was referring to this gen. Since those other two was terrible. I've never played that one. I might try it since you said it was good.

My bad, I thought you meant overall. That one definitely deserves a try though.

Btw, the difference is that you all were specifically making fun of me. Cheska was not trying to make fun of anyone or direct anything at anyone specifically.

Anywya, I finally turned on my new 360. I just played some of my old games shortly and downloaded the N3 II demo (not really for me).

I ordered Death Smiles, but don't expect it until Wednesday this week.

I was waiting for Bumblebee to shout Bankai

I'm currently looking at a Gamestop application and I'm wondering what the hell they mean by Video Game/Software knowledge. I mean that a pretty vague question to ask anyone. I'm sure if Rei was around he could explain it.

Well, there are a few shooters that I think would be fun to play with an arcade stick (Deathsmiles, Raiden IV, Ikaruga, Otomedius Excellent) and I've been wanting to get more fighters, but I've been waiting for them to go down in price. (I'm also worried about picking up Super Street Fighter since I'm afraid they'll keep re-releasing it) It's definitely something for me to think about. (I've been wanting the Femme Fatale stick, but I've been having trouble finding one for the PS3 from someone that's not asking for $200)

...I'm glad you're liking Disgaea Infinite! I had a lot of fun with it too.

I'm thinking about it. I'm just looking for a 2nd job to bring a little extra cash in.

That reminds me, I got Disgaea Infinite a few weeks ago and have yet to open it. I'll put it in today or tomorrow. I bought like 12 or more PSP games lately, so my PSP is getting tons of love.

Coming from a former Gamestop employee, DONT DO IT! Seriously, you'll be kicking yourself for it later on. They really get down on you about getting GI subscriptions and reservations where your job is no longer enjoyable. Not to mention doing price changes on the 500+ used PS2 games most stores have is an absolute nightmate. The only part I liked about working for GS were the midnight releases. It was actually really fun to talk to other diehard fans of the series that were willing to wait in line to get a game. But besides that, it sucked. Even the discount wasn't good enough. Although I will say that a nice little perk was being able to buy rare games that were traded in before other customers saw them :bouncy:

Most of the part time jobs I work are pretty shitty and I never thought gamestop would be any better.

Actually that sounds ok when compared to doing repacks(Boxes of assorted items that go all over the store) and unpacking boxes of cosmetics...

Yeah, it's true that GS really pressures their employees to reach some preorder quota. I honestly feel bad whenever I don't preorder anything there (and try not to cancel) since I know what employees have to go through.

Honestly, there are much better jobs out there. I'd only work at GameStop towards a last resort.

Like what systems do you know about or use, I'd wager.

Can you tell customers about the PS3 or PSN? Do you know about Xbox Live and the 360? Are you an avid Nintendo fanboy with a Wii, 7 DSes, and an undying devotion to Wii Sports? Like to game on your PC, so you know all about what the minimum reqs are for computers to play the most recent releases... see what I mean?

Taking games home to try them out for a night or two was a nice perk too.
Then again, I worked at EBgames before they were Gamestop. [/old]

As far as I now they stopped doing that, they let you rent the occasional used game if they have multiple copies of it, but they have gotten much stricter.

I'm bored of SSFIV, 90% of the people in Ranked suck and I'm a scrub! Bring on BBCS already dagnabbit!

EDIT: By suck, I mean doing random DPs all day or churning the stick like crazy as 'gief or hawk.

The ceo of gamestop admitted in an interview in this month's GamePro that they allow employees to check games out. I don't ever buy new, opened copies for that reason. Because they're used, not new. And they have been in dumbfuck gamestop employee's stinky ass apartment next to the cheetos and marijuana butts.

Not where Rei works apparently, cause I could swear he was always talking about taking x game from work to see if it was any good.

One friend I talk to (who works at GS) tells me about checking out games there for the evening all the time.

SRH 4 Life

So now I have Borderlands and all the DLC on Steam. Steam sales can be too hard to pass up sometimes...

Also have Trinity Universe and Deathsmiles on the way.

Oh yeah, Happy 4th GGT! :)
