GGT 30 comes free with PSN+
Damn, this fall, like every fall, is going to be crazy. What's everyone getting?

So far I'm picking up Halo, New Vegas, Fable III, DKC, Kirby, Dead Rising. Oh and if it's out, the 3DS :D

My maybe list is...Epic Mickey, CoD, Vanquish, DJ Hero 2, Rock Band 3 (Yes, maybe. Me and all my friends are so burnt out on rhythm games. Last time we played Rock Band 2, we got bored after 3 songs and stopped).

Next year is looking damn good too with Mortal Kombat, Rage and Zelda
DR2. That's about it. Going to look into RB3, if the real guitar is nice enough and not extortion priced... then maybe.

Not much, thankfully:

8/31 - Valkyria Chronicles 2
9/07 - Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
9/20 - Professor Layton and The Unwound Future
9/xx - Disney Epic Mickey
10/31 - Rock Band 3

Maybes: Metroid: Other M, Halo: Reach, Enslaved: Journey to the West, Vanquish.

I've finished my backlog, so I'm finally getting to start Mass Effect tonight.

I'll wait to see which games are actually early 2011 games before getting too excited. Next game I want is other M.

Right now I'm looking forward to:

8/17 Ys Seven Limited Edition (PSP)
8/31 Metroid: Other M (Wii)
8/31 Valkyria Chronicles 2 (PSP)
9/14 Halo Reach (360)
9/21 Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City (DS)
10/5 Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light (DS)
?/? Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii)

I'm also thinking about Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, but I'm kind of burned out on the series so I might wait to get it.

If we're including non-Fall games, I'd have to add Blazblue:CS. :)

I'll end up getting more but the only games I have an eye on at the mo are New Vegas, Dead Rising 2 and maybe Medal of Honor if the multi-player is good .

Valkyria Chronicles 2? I still have to finish the first one...

I'm looking forward to
Blazblue:CS
Metroid: Other M
Halo Reach
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

I'm trying to hold off on buying games until I clear out my backlog...

In probable release order, I'm looking forward to:

Metroid Other M
Valkyria Chronicles 2
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
Golden Sun Dark Dawn
Fable III
Disney Epic Mickey
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Castlevania Lords of Shadow

I definitely won't buy all of them on release though.
LBP2 is coming out this soon?

I've barely heard any hype for it.
This November according to the release date. They showed some pieces of it at E3, but I agrree there really hasn't been a whole lot of media around it.
I forgot about LBP2. I'm probably going to wait for the GOTY edition.
I might do the same after what they did with the last LBP.

Honestly not a whole lot I'm stoked for this fall.

Fallout New Vegas I'll get, but not near launch since I just played Fallout 3 and all expansions and need a break.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is a possibility, but I'm skeptical since it's Treyarch.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood I'll get if the single player is on par with AC2, may wait for Goozex though.

Fable 3--will wait for Goozex.

Rock Band 3--pretty burnt out on rythm games. Haven't even finished the tour mode in RB2--just used the cheat code to unlock all the songs to play. Mainly just fire it up to play the Pearl Jam DLC.

Gears 3 next spring is really the only thing on the Radar that I'm legitimately stoked for. Than and any Mass Effect 2 DLC or news of ME3.

Need to get around to Dragon Age, but figure there will be a GOTY edition sometime soon, so have been holding off.

Why would anyone who knows the pattern of Bethesda games buy one on launch? They ALWAYS release a GOTY edition for their games
which are considerably overhyped and overpraised

I'm tempted to go for all the achievements in ME2. I'm only missing 4 of them.... but one of them is beating the game on Insanity.

Yeah, the insanity achievement is the only one I'm missing in ME2, and I have no intention of getting it as I tried briefly and just didn't have any fun playing on that difficulty.

*joins in*

BBCS and Vanquish with a big maybe on gaylo reach around. Sweet, I'm gonna save a lot of money for next year's awesomeness.
i'm interested in Vanquish. that's about it.

playing some FFXII international w/ english patch. good shiz.
That sounds cool. Have you tried it on PS3, or does it only work on PS2?

I'm playing it on a modded PS2. Still looks decent on my plasma despite the lack of AA. But nothing compared to people's PS2 emulator screenshots of the game.
Why is there no games out this summer... I have nothing to play. = |
A CAG without a backlog? Impossible.

Are you talking about Fallout: New Vegas here? 1, Bethesda isn't developing it, and 2, isn't New Vegas an expansion? Will it even get DLC?

Bear, there's nothing at all your interested in this summer?

And Jesus, where the hell have you been? You've been MIA for like a week lol. Too busy playing with dolls hm?
Are you talking about Fallout: New Vegas here? 1, Bethesda isn't developing it, and 2, isn't New Vegas an expansion? Will it even get DLC?
NV is an entirely new game.
Fallout: New Vegas is an upcoming role-playing video game in the Fallout series, currently in development by Obsidian Entertainment (many employees of which worked for Black Isle Studios on Fallout and Fallout 2) and has been scheduled for release on October 19, 2010, in North America, and October 22, 2010, in Europe.[4]
Fallout: New Vegas is not a direct sequel to Fallout 3 and is a stand-alone product.[5][6] Events in game follow three years after Fallout 3 and offer a similar role-playing experience; however, no characters from that game will appear.[6]

And Summer this year is worse, because XBLA Summer of Arcade is full of garbage.

What's on XBLA this fall?
What's on XBLA this fall?
I dunno. Shank, I guess, maybe?

My point was that normally in the summer XBLA "Summer of Arcade" had some decently cool titles worth downloading.
Castlevania looks pretty awesome to me.

Limbo looks interesting as well.
I love that Castlevania seems to look like SotN, but I'm not a huge online/coop guy, so a coop boss rush only game doesn't float my boat. :\

Limbo looks interesting, but I don't think it's anything to be drooling over, like such past titles like MvC2, Shadow Complex, or Turtles in Time (even if it sucked).

Co-op boss rush floats my boat!

I'm liking Shank too, but I'll get for PSN.

Lara Croft I'll probably get for XBLA.
What's on XBLA this fall?
Limbo, Castlevania, Hydro Thunder, Lara Croft and Monday Night Combat. But I guess you could consider Shank to be part of the line up too. I'm onlt interested in Shank, Castlevania and Hydro Thunder. I'll try the Demo's and see if I like the others.

Edit: For some reason I thought Monday Night Combat was called Friday Night Fights...
Co-op boss rush floats my boat!

I might get Shank on PSN if the gameshare group I'm in goes for it... otherwise, it's definitely something I'd buy on my own.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Limbo. I'm interested in that one too.

MS is giving 1600pts for buying all five of the Summer of Whatever titles, but I don't want them all.

The XBLA game coming this week (DeathSpank) looks a lot more interesting than any of the Summer of Arcade games. I'd maybe spend the $15 on Limbo, but everything else looks like it's overpriced and should be $10 each at most.

I'd be surprised if these games come even close to selling as well as games like Shadow Complex since I've seen very little hype for any of this stuff. Tomb Raider probably has the most since it was shown off well before E3 and then Limbo is probably next due to its visual style, but the others seemed to have gotten lost in the shuffle at E3 without much hoopla about them since then. Even the Spring of Arcade lineup got more hype than this.

I saw on Major Nelson's site that the new XBLA app is only available during Summer of Arcade. Why did they bother if it's not even going to be available for that long?

Edit: I have learned that the Destination Arcade app will only be available for the duration of the Summer of Arcade promotion which ends August 18th.
Lara Croft looks like it'd be worth $15, but yeah I'd never pay that much for Hydrothunder.
What about $15 for generic shooter game number 683? ;)

hmm...

The only downloadable I'm even slightly interested in is Hard Corps. Castlevania might be cool, but it looks kinda ghetto right now... I feel like I'd rather go play Order of Ecclesia again or something.
What about $15 for generic shooter game number 683? ;)
What game is that? I haven't paid $15 for any games on XBLA recently.

$15...man, i love gamesharing.

just trollin'

as for summer, fall, and winter games, I'm pretty much set on back log stuff alone. Wanna beat Vagrant Story, maybe DDS2 (if it doesn't piss me off with annoying "pull the switch" dungeons like one of the early ones), FFXII international, Infamous, FF9, FF7, FFTactics, Demon's Souls, etc. Not sure what a game drought is, but then again, I have a PS2. There are plenty of dumb-yet-highly praised "AAA" PS3 titles I have yet to play for when I get a taste for that as well.
