GGT #35 vs the World
I save 2-3 times each week completely. I like looking young.

Anyway, I'm pissed because I was playing Espgaluda II on my 360, almost done with the game. I noticed my 360 DVD drive sounded louder than normal (on my new 360), so I checked out the drive close up. Just as I touched the 360, I just got close enough to the eject sensor and my game was ejected, so I lost ALL the progress I made. :whistle2:(
Noooooo 20 minutes: ruined!

I usually just shave once a week, unless there's somewhere special I'm going. My 5-oclock shadow lingers for days and looks pretty awesome in sort of a Homer Simpson sort of way.

Finally finished with the Brood War play-thru. Now, just gotta wait for StarCraft 2 to drop in price, and then it will be all mine.

I shave only when my beard gets itchy.
I haven't been clean shaven in quite some time... it only happens maybe once per year. Usually I have some sort of goatee, if not a full beard. Then again, that whole "working in an office, full time employment" thing kind of requires it.
Yay, 100%'d scotty P, got all characters, beat it with all those characters, got all trophies, got all assists, everything max'd out, etc.

Number of freezes throughout my entire time of playing the game... about 10.
Any tips for quick playthroughs with the 3 extra characters to unlock negascott?
Any tips for getting one man army?

The problem with God of War is that EVERYTHING goes on way longer than is actually fun. You never just fight two huge enemies, they always respawn 8 times. You never just kill a boss, their health bar always refills five times. It always takes twice as long as it should to kill enough enemies for a barrier to go down. It makes a short game feel sooooo long.

GOD KILLER

yeah. At first I was like "augghghghhhH!1!!" but then I was like "I can deal with this"

$20 is definitely worth it. its really the worst in the first Vigrid chapters, but you get used to it

For one man army you only have to play the latter part of each stage, going through with a maxed out character and the the sword of love code makes it a breeze.

So basically, you only have to beat each boss on hard?

Seriously the safety razor is the best. You won't even get cuts unless it's knicking zits. You don't even have to work it, just slide it over your stubble and it's gone.

Just Cause 2 is great. Finished ODST on legendary in co op today.

Man, I've been playing Fallout 3 again and in this playthrough everything bad is happening to everyone that crosses my path. I've helped out Big Town and Three Dog and I just went back and visited both and Super Mutants ransacked and killed everyone in Big Town and killed all but one of the Brotherhood guys and Three Dog in GNR.

I really do need to get a nice razor, good thing I visited GGT.

What does everyone think of the upcoming Castlevania game? The production values seem fantastic, but the combat footage I've seen didn't seem awfully impressive. Not that it doesn't look solid, but I've been playing action games like these for nearly a decade now.

And I don't know...not a big fan of the whip :whistle2:&

Looks like Castlevania + God of War. I hope it's great, but I'm not holding my breath.

It'd be nice to have a game this year to look forward to. . .

Sure, if you have a second controller, then the sequential playthroughs will be easier. Pick the character you're going to beat the game with next, have player 2 sign in as a guest player and choose whatever character has the most money. Go into a shop, have the guest give you all their money then exit to the map so it saves. Go back to the main menu and enter the code that allows two people to play as the same character as once. You pick the character you want to acquire money for, as do they. Go into a shop, have them give you the money, go to the map so it saves. Go back to the main menu, do it all over again. Unfortunately I didn't think about doing this until after I had done everything.

Go pay off Scott's late fees at the video store, then buy the seven mystical... whatever movie. It says seven in it, buy it ten times to max out all your stats except for XP. Easiest playthroughs ever. If you feel the little trick in the paragraph above is "cheap" then you can just go to the door at the start of the Halloween party and gather all the coins in subspace. Rinse and repeat.

One man army is beating it on the hardest, right? Just beat the final area for each boss. For the 7th ex,
I just went to the first stage of his and beat all 3 of his forms.

I have my doubts about DR2 still.

Red Steel 2 is incredibly repetitive. Still very close to greatness though.

I have grand jury duty tomorrow. Never thought I would complain about missing work.
LBP2, Fable 3, and RB3.

I'm excited for New Vegas, too, but I'll probably just wait for a GOTY of it.
I don't think enough pricing has been revealed for me to care about RB3 quite yet. I need to know if the fender squier strat is going to be redonkulously priced.

You know it's at least going to be $70 bucks. I expect it to be anywhere from $70-$100.

You're seriously considering the Squier? I remember reading that the real guitars cost between $150 and $350, so expect it to be somewhere in that range.

There's enough pricing info for me to know that I'll be getting the keyboard bundle.

I'm for sure getting
Fallout:New Vegas
Halo Reach
Metroid Other M
Ghost Trick

Considering based on reviews/impressions
Shank
Vanquish
Final Fantasy 4 Heroes of Light

Don't know much of anything about but might get interested after a rental/demo/price drop
Enslaved
Mafia 2
Fable 3
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit
Batman Brave and the Bold
Goldeneye Wii
Split/Second for PSP
God of War Ghost of Sparta

Another year, another holiday wish list without PS3 games. What the fuck is wrong with you, Sony?

yeah.

it's about the only thing that can make me care about a rhythm/music game at this point... I have a guitar, but trying to teach myself strumming patterns and chords from tabs is just a pain in the ass... if I can get an entry-ish level guitar which is a solid instrument and compatible with RB3 to teach me better, I'm willing to give it a shot.

It's all about the soundtrack and career mode for me since I'm probably stuck with a Hard ceiling for my skills, so I play to enjoy the music. I just need the ability to blacklist Green Grass and High Tides and Metallica music from random setlists and I'm good. Nothing kills a good vibe than any of those long songs that are also difficult.

Let's see for 2010:

For Sure:

 • Metroid Other M (Wii) - kind of iffy, but I like Metroid so much I'll get it anyways
 • Valkyria Chronicles 2 (PSP) - loved the first game, and I'm excited for a portable version
 • Ys 7 (PSP) - I haven't actually played any of the other games but I'm interested in giving this one a try (I also have the 6th game in my backlog and have never played it)
 • Atelier Rorona (PS3) - I own most of the other games and I'm interested to see a 3D Gust game (though the only game that is semi from the series that I've played/beaten is Mana Khemia)
 • Final Fantasy: Four Heroes of Light (DS) - Probably the highest probability of being a recent FF game that I might like since I hated 12 and I thought 13 was weaker than most of the earlier games in the series.
 • Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City (DS) - Still haven't beaten the first two games, but I'd rather not have to track it down later; and I really like the first two games.

Maybe or when I can get it for cheaper:
 • Halo Reach (360) - I still haven't gotten ODST yet, so I have a feeling I can wait on this one and see if there is a sale close to the holidays.
 • Golden Sun DS (DS) - I still haven't gotten or played the second game yet, but I still might end up getting this one.
 • Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep (PSP) - I'm really burned out on this series so I'll probably wait.

lol wow I just got banned on NeoGAF

You have been banned for the following reason:
"Mouth-breathing consolites" should know their place, yeah?

I realize the place doesn't have to be fair and even handed and all, but when a mod bans you for a post where you disagree with him with very clearly stated reasoning and opinion, citing examples why statements made in a thread were inflammatory and NOT well-thought out and reasoned, just because you disagreed with their opinion, it's hard to take that forum seriously.

The discussion was about STALKER 2 coming to consoles and how it's OBVIOUSLY going to be dumbed down for the console players who can't handle any REAL games.

You should have known better, I just keep my damned mouth shut and stick to the B/S/T topic there. Having an opinion there is an instant ban. What is it that they say? "This is GAF dude"

Yeah I know all these things it's just really irritating to be silened for your opinion on a forum where it's popular users/moderators so love to think of themselves as such free thinking, open minded, modern types.

Also where the side that the moderators agree with (PC gaming elitists/fanboys) make far more inflammatory and insulting remarks and get passed over.

Should just stick to reading that forum from now on. No point in trying to provide an opinion if it's just going to get eliminated when they don't like it.
