Do "ass" and "burgers" count as free-standing morphemes?

edit: welp, put all my credit towards Fallout New Vegas and a collector's edition guide, so no more for black friday. I fail at life :( I have $17 in Gamestop credit, so I guess I'll get Vanquish used at some point. I'm more in the mood for a WRPG than an action game at them moment anyway.

Because you never asked. ^_^

Last weekend at the bar, I got called Jack Black and Jesus. So, yeah. . .

Played Medal of Honor online for like 45 minutes. Pretty average.

Also, Ninja Dog, why the hell did you buy the guide for Fallout? You make some strange ass purchases / sales.

I was wondering the same thing, although I admit I looked up the guide after he posted that to find out what was so special about it, 'cause my curiosity got the better of me.

I didn't really see anything special about it, and it was $21-ish on Amazon, so I didn't bother. :p

The fallout collector's guides are amazing! This thing is like 445 pages, hardcover, huge. I haven't made any major game purchases in a while and I know I'm gonna get sucked into New Vegas, so I thought I'd get the guide just to flip through. I'll admit, it's nothing you can't get online, aside from nice maps.

plus, when i'm sick of/done with it, I'll make my money right back because the collector's guide probably won't get cheaper than what amazon is currently selling them for ($20.99.)
ninja, have you played anymore of Nier?
yeah, a couple more hours. this game is practically all fetch quests so far, I've just about had it. :\

edit: oh man, from a gamefaqs review:

The first half of NIER suffers from the fact that you literally have almost nothing to do but fetch-and-kill quests.

Aw, I'm sorry your not enjoying it as much. You don't have to complete any of the quests to advance with the game though. The only one I would recommend doing is the "Boar Hunt" one so you can have access to the boar rides for faster traveling.

From all the talk on Nier I thought I'd nab it from the gohasting's buy two get one for $1 sale. Played Enslaved last night and got up to Chapter 3. Not a bad game but it really hasn't grabbed my full attention just yet.

Anyone know what time PSN updates? Never keep track of it.

Maybe I'll do just that. Also, is there some kind of crafting feature? I have all this scrap stuff, but the game is vague about whether it'll be useful or if it's just loot.

Well there's a upgrading system for your weapons, and you do that through the two brothers in the Junkyard. The other random materials like clay, ore, tree branch, etc are needed for quests. I just started Part 2 this week so I'm not sure if they can be used for other things as well. I'm not sure what difficulty your playing on, but playing on Hard greatly increases the drop rate of items. However, I heard hard can be a major PITA.

I always check in around 5-6 PST.

Thanks Beef, I'll check around that time then.

Downloaded The Writer for Alan Wake and cannot wait to see how it concludes the game. Enjoyed it a lot other than some difficulty spikes in The Signal.

I was going for "It's no War and Peace." but that works too.

I'm about 2 hours into Reach story... when the fuck will some FPSs stop being confusingly all over the place with no real good startup on setting a story up? I blame Perfect Dark...

Reach's story has me so much less interested in what I'm doing in the game... -_-

Still more fun than any other Halo game I've played, but not by much.

I need to be able to add notes to my friends on XBL. I can never remember where I know people from. Unless their GT is exactly the same as their forum handle.

Would like the same, but on PSN also... my lists are crammed

They probably shouldn't be on your list then. Your list will still be big, but at least it won't be full.

I now have two PSN accounts, my regular and one I made specifically for the Tester that's spelled the same way my Tester name is spelled. I have never seen so many friend requests in my life, I literally have way over 500 pending requests, and I get messages every day from these people asking why I haven't added them >.> Luckily, my main account is full (although I should delete some people so I can add more of you from the GGT) so no one can get butthurt if I don't add them because it doesn't even notify me of the request :D

I would like to do that, too. I have a problem on XBL, but never have any problems with my PSN list. I have like no friends on PSN.
Someone's the most popular girl in the room
No, I'm just the only one of the Tester Season 2 cast whose name was available on PSN. Gaymer, Scooter, and MoChocolate were taken ages ago. And actually triplethreats name is the same too, but she has number as the end, so it's harder for people to find her.

Man, I have almost no friends on XBL or PSN; cause most of my real life friends don't play games online, or games in general. Which is funny because all but one my best friends are game developers. Well I guess they do, but just not games I'm into and mostly PC, like Starcraft 2, I got the game but I'm so bad at RTS games I can't really play with them.
