GGT #49 is the same as GGT #48, but now it's Episodic and costs $10 too much
WHAT THE fuck? I just got ambushed by a retard and a tiger!
Ahahaha.

Snowflake lurvs you.

LoS is a fucking pain in my ass... goddamn trials. >_<

Oh well, all that's left now is a bunch of stages on paladin and a bunch of trials.
Ahahaha.

She does now! Man, took me three tries to tame her. She never killed me, I just was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got stuck in Yucatan an hour before I was supposed to give Katey her Zombrex. I wish I could've rode on Snowflake.

She's a dirty hooker to tame. >_<
I still haven't found a good method for getting her to come at you in a straight enough line to easily toss the steaks to her before she mauls you to death.

However, that's nothing compared to the frustration that the trial in the clock tower of LoS caused me... my god. 5:00 to beat the stage -- if you try to use the double jump to get over the balance sections (you can) 98% of the time you somehow miss because of the poor camera angle. Other times, when you'd make the jump easily, the invisible walls around the center platform prevent you from safely landing and you fall to your death. SD:LJRLKWERUPOIUCVLKXCHVJKSLGJ:LKj;lkj;1l2415848tp2;wqaj;dflkj;KJL!
But I did it. >_

Okay, the method I used was walk over near the entrance to Yucatan (because it's a bottleneck hallway and there aren't many Zombies there, at least when I'm there) and I threw down all three in a straight line and stood a ways back behind them and when she rushed me she got distracted by the steaks and ate them!

I think I have fucked myself over though, I let too much time go by for the
Casino robbing mission because I've done it twice and it always expires right when I get to the armored van.

Shouldn't have went after all the Survivors right away.

Theres your problem right there. That episode was awful, you were delusional.

It wasn't up to par but Jeff's unexplained Leonard hate made me laugh.

Why did everyone hate Brutal Legend?

Probably because of the switch to "console RTS" mid game. I didn't mind, but some of those battles could be unforgiving until you got the hang of it.

Beef, what time tomorrow works well for you -- I'm probably free from morning until mid-afternoon.

Also, if we really do have time to kill, I have a list of combo cards I'm missing from movie posters and such that would be good to go grab for me, potentially.

I beat Super Meat Boy, and then an extra world showed up. I'm not going to mess with it. Back to Mass Effect 2 and Rock Band 2!

I'm free tomorrow morning. Name a time EST.

I also don't mind helping you find those combo cards.

No, but the game is. I'm pretty far from being metro, thankfully.

Need food then games.

Ok, that was about the most disgusting thing I've read in GGT in a while. You need to get laid or something JSP. :p

Hm, amazon just shipped me Time Crisis Razing Storm--I thought that was due out next week?

Ew, that was pretty gross.

I tried to fix my old PS3 myself, but I think it has more issues than the YLOD. I guess I'll have to restart Nier from the beginning when I decide to play again.

Right now I'm playing through Mafia II, which I'm actually enjoying tremendously. Vito Scaletta

Almost done with platinum in Castlevania.
If I can manage this trial, all that will be left is 110% a few stages in chapters 10 and 11 (5 stages, maybe?)
No, what I meant was I'd fuck you so hard, all the dried shit-flakes that have built up over the centuries would fall from your beard.
Oh, I see. My mistake. :bouncy:

Real talk, might have to cut it short so I can has job.

Finally picked up Kirby today. For some reason I really can't wait to play it.

This has been a busy week for games. Before Kirby, I already bought Costume Quest and Super Meat Boy, and I'll pick up Fallout New Vegas and Vanquish somewhere down the line. I wish I had more time to play all these games. Hopefully I'll get through some stuff this weekend so I can play Fable 3 next week.

Time Crisis came out Tuesday but seems like it was a low shipment. Not many stores have it at all and Amazon was sold out for a bit.

Yeah, I was actually interested in it whenever I saw the thread for it yesterday afternoon and went to check if any stores have it around here today and no one has it or know if they're getting it, except my local GS which says they will not be getting it in.

You already Finished Super Meat Boy?

christ.

I need something else to buy on XBLA for the 2400 points thing. Already got SMB and Costume Quest.

Skipping worlds, I'm sure it's very manageable, very quickly, if you have any skill at that sort of game.

Uh...you need to beat 17/20 levels in each World to beat the game. I didn't go for A+ grades in every level so I didn't do Dark World. You need A+ grades in levels to unlock their Dark World counterparts. I'm not doing that.

If you don't do the dark worlds, go for A+ or for bandages it's not terribly hard.

I'm only on the 4th world though.

The last world is...not kind.

I played some Rock Band 2, trying out Vocals for the first time. 98% then 100%. I guess those years in choir paid off :p
If Super Meat Boy is really this good, I may have to pick it up as well.
Define "this good".

But if you think you have an interest, play demo and buy this week, as it's $5 off.

Beat Costume Quest (and got all the trophies), might be my favorite downloadable game that I've played from PSN or XBLA. Not that surprising though because I REALLY love Psychonauts as well and the humor is fairly similar, basically if you're a bit of a child at heart (which I very much am) then you will really get some good laughs. Also, using timed button presses (like any of the Mario RPG games) also really added to it for me, since that is probably my favorite type of RPG combat.

Am I the only one who thinks controlling your character in the overworld is really clunky? I seriously have to retry lining up the jumps 2 or 3 times every time. I do like how fast paced the combat is. A Nice change from most turn based RPGs.

Ya some of the collision was a little off, like you said the jumps didn't always seem to line up right; and a couple of times I got wedged in a tight passage and had to jiggle the analog stick to get free, other then that though I didn't really have any complaints with movement (and the ramps only really appear in the first area).

About 37 or so, Joel.

Also, I think I found a box for those bongos -- I'll pack them up tomorrow and weigh them then hit you with a PM.

The only clunky part of the overworld stuff in Costume Quest was the ramps in my experience.

I think I was 32 after Overtime.

Just spent the last couple hours doing sidequests in Brutal Legend, cleared every one off the map except for this stupid one that I honestly can't figure out the objective to.

Been busy so I haven't gotten much gaming done. Also Sengoku Basara is eating up all my time when I do... I did put a few hours into New Vegas though and I'm enjoying that quite a bit.

I haven't beat it yet, but I completely agree with everything you wrote. Based on what I've played, I'd say it's one of my favorite PSN/XBLA games ever. It also doesn't hurt that it is a big step up from the disappointment that was Comic Jumper. Costume Quest just feels like it was made for me.

Haha, just as a follow-up. I totally forgot about Flower, I LOVED that game. I can't really seem to compare the two games in my head to determine which is better because they are so different, so I will just say that Costume Quest is tied with Flower for my favorite downloadable game from PSN and XBLA.
