EO is straightforward enough that it didn't really become an issue. I probably sat on it for 6-8 months before I got back into it. Total time from purchase to completion was just under a year.

I really like[d] Rondo, but God damn are some stages a pain. If you don't recruit a lot of optional characters, it can be brutal. I still think if you enjoy Fire Emblem and Advance Wars, you'll like Rondo.

Yay for Goozex. They reversed the bogus negative feedback the one asshat gave me and disabled his account for feedback abuse. Everything is good now.

Went ahead and ordered Okami , Boom Blox and Rock Band today. Hope to enjoy all of them.

JEKKI, try running the PS2 in diagnostic mode.

Load the PS2 without a disc inside. When it says BROWSER and SYSTEM CONFIGURATION hit the triangle button. Scroll to the top where it says CONSOLE hit the triangle again. Then select to turn the diagnostic on. After it is on, put the Contra disc in.

Wait to see if it loads. If it does, it should start automatically. If not, hit circle twice to back up to the B/SC menu. Then select browser.

Might have to do it a few times. This helps as sometimes the PS2 gets in a state where it can't read certain disc layers.

Fans of Kingdom Hearts and Action RPG's should BUY The World Ends With You on DS. Do I dare say it's the best RPG released on the DS thus far? Yes. Yes I do. It does so many different things that work, it's crazy. I'm really enjoying it so far.

I'm not a fan of the Lakers or the Celtics, but I am rooting for them to reach the NBA Finals. Nostalgic Championship Matchups are always great...except Super Bowl 30.
 
Damn, tried to play P3 this morning and got my first DRE. I tested my other games and they all work fine. Only FES doesn't want to work. ughh.

I have to agree, while it wasn't terrible and way better then DMC2 the back tracking and fighting the bosses three times in a row was a tad lazy IMO. I'll probably get it for PC as well though for the sweet extras.
 
TWEWY has to be the most uncomfortable game to play. It hurts my elbows when I play lying down on my stomach. It hurts my shoulders when I lie down on my back. When I sit up, it hurts my neck because I have to stare downward. And all of this while I'm constantly poking and slashing the screen. It's a good thing I don't equip the pins where you yell in the mic, I think I'd have to see the doctor afterwards.

Sounds like my playtime with Trauma Center. That was a damn uncomfortable game to play - but still fun as hell until the end.

I'm 30+ hours into GTA4 and sitting at 38% right now. I can tell that I am consciously trying to avoid doing story missions just to keep the game going.

Also about an hour into Lost Winds and on the final chapter of Professor Layton which has been in my DS since it came out. Damn I am slow.

It's all been music games (DMP1&2 and Rock Band) and GTAIV lately
 
play a portable title and a home console title at the same time. I find you can kill 2 birds with one stone that way alot easier since you can play the portable things wherever and whenever.
 
Yep, that's my usual strategy. One portable game that I'll play a little before sleeping and when I travel. One single player console game at a time that is my main gaming focus. I'll play a little online gaming or something like Guitar Hero at the same time since those are just pick up and play here and there games.

But mainly I just focus on one main console game, and one portable when there's something on the DS I want to play.

I can't believe someone leaked some of the details on Resident Evil 5 already.

That was considered top secret stuff. Someone is going to get in trouble. I definitely didn't even dare mention it anywhere lol.

So yea, if you haven't heard already, gamesradar mentioned the fully online co-op story mode for RE5.
 
RE5 is going to be so awesome. Can this year get any better?

Adjusting a PS2 lens is pretty easy. Getting it just right is a little harder, but nothing too big. I've had to adjust mine twice, and it's perfectly fine now. Although I've come across a few PS2s that were beyond saving with a lens adjustment.

damn! capcom must be furious over this leak then

on a sidenote....
im basically done with high school
got my senior clearance formed signed and turned in yesterday passed everything

today was my last day in classes since im not gonna bother goin tomorrow and im gonna get it cleared anyway :D
