Tester spoiler for those who have watched it.

I'm not going to dive into a whole lot since I already explained a lot on the PS website, but to make the story short we did not just brush Fazeek to the side. He barely added his input in, and when he threw out that game idea, it was with 30 minutes left. ALSO, when it came to our game, the only idea he brought up was that the Lifeless should have different colored organs (and no, I am not kidding). It was edited so poorly so it made our game look like it was all over the place, but really it's just not getting the justice it deserved. They told us to specifically concentrate on story, which is what we did. The other team just had a more polished game, and it was presented better. I'm really not mad that we lost, I'm most pissed off by what some of the viewers are saying. I'd like to see one of them try to create a game in only 90 minutes. Also fuck Kotaku. I didn't like them before the show, and I definitely don't like them now. If any of you read their live blogs of the episodes, they are so smitten by War Princess, that they only focus on her.

And by the way, I personally don't have a problem with Jack's lips or eyebrows. And I think her tattoos look fine as well. Also, I've never really cared about breast size, so that's not a problem either. I care far more about the face than any other body part, and I just happened to find Jack's face pretty. So to each his own. I will say though that I wasn't a fan of her outfit.

If the movie does come out, you'd probably be better off just skipping it anyway. It's pretty much guaranteed that it's going to be worse than the games. I don't see the point of turning most games into movies in the first place.

Ugh, Mark Wahlberg is no Nathan Drake. Without Nathan Fillion, Movie=Fail. Although, I could see Bobby D as Sully.
 
Halle Berry is the only woman I can think of that looks hot with short hair. Like in the flinstones movie she was in.

Uncharted could be a good movie if they make it an action movie and take out the end part...with the you know what's. I'd put spoiler tags but iPhone cag doesn't have it l.

Other vg games to movies are usually scifi action but if they take out the last bit of uncharted it could be good.

I liked the end of Uncharted. Not sure why everyone had such a problem with it.

I probably still have the VHS tape, too. I don't recall ever hearing of the movie before I got it, so I don't know how my parents even thought to get it for me other than just seeing an animated movie somewhere.

It did about $10 million in Japan in 1989 and $400k in the US three years later and cost about $35 million to make, so that explains why nobody had heard of it.

He's really not that famous. I do think he'd be a better Drake though just because he seems to be naturally good at sarcasm, but whatever. Not like the movie is going to turn out to be good anyways.
 
The Mortal Kombat live-action movie is still the best video game adaptation.

I'm dead serious when I say that, too. The sequel...not so much.
 
Mortal Kombat Annihilation is so bad, it's good. I saw it in the theater opening weekend and was like "WTF is this shit?" Friend and I just made fun of it the whole time, then ran into two dudes from high school that were high as fuck on the way out. Their review was "That was awesome!"

I bought it on DVD for $4 years later, and it's fun to just pop it in for laughs.
 
advent children was a pretty fun watch, minus all the plot development.

i just wish that when someone like Square has all that money to make fanservice, and they are going to make a shit plot with tons of action -- that they would really go balls out with the action.

i mean tifa's fight scene was the best and it was only like 60 seconds long, then every other character got like a 20 second little cameo attacking a giant monster. cloud got most of the action but even then i felt severely underwhelmed.

watch a couple clips from Dead Fantasy by Monty Oum, and it's almost sad that one man with the right mind for choreography and simple graphics tools can top Square's movie.

I actually thought you guys had a pretty creative story with the amount of time given. A side scrolling game taking place underwater sounds like a perfect game gamers would hate.

It's f-cking hard to think creatively when forced, but most people never try - yet when it comes to shutting down other peoples ideas they are pros.
