I'll ditch my cam... I'm ditching tomorrow (or monday... whenever):

Smash Bros (still don't like it)
Blue Dragon (trade fodder since it cost me only $8)
Play and Charge Cable (no need for it)
Vision Cam
and if they take it my damn eye toy

All good crap to trade in me thinks.

yeah, I plan on using all the credit to pay off the remaining $30 I have to put on SCIV for PS3 and then the rest is either going towards a Dual Shock 3 (need an extra controller, and this would be nice), a 2000 pt wii card (meh), or an overpriced ghost squad... or whatever.

Go for the extra DS3 RR, it's damn nice and way better then the other two things in your suggestions of what to get list. ;)

They still have the trade 2 get an extra $10 going on too. Combine that with the extra 20% towards SCIV and stack an Edge card on that and you're golden.

Yeah RR do this and get me a how to beat RR at SCIV dummies guide. ;)

And this was the coolest thing I saw over the weekend lol...

Nah, I'm just some dude...

n8nmonster and I both saw JEKKI. He looks exactly like his avatar.

EXACTLY. But he starts tut'n and poppin and lockin in place like a robot...

Finally got to the part in DMC4 where you play as Dante, and I can definatly say I preferred Nero and really miss his DB arm.

I also tried out the Lost Planet online demo, and was surprised by how well I did against a bunch of fellow noobs. Overall, the controls felt kinda clunky, but the little I played was fun.

I picked up Eternal Sonata yesterday, and after playing for about 100 minutes I can safely say that this game has the most INSANE premise for a video game of all time. Superman 64's premise made more sense than this, I kid you not.

I fucking knew it!
and then saw handcock...

and yeah, handcock sucked. we all agreed on that.
Handcock? ...what the hell?!

Will Smith's latest movie Hancock, maybe? (as in "Can I have your John Hancock")

I saw it too and thought it turned out alright (great beginning/concept, an obviously rushed through ending and story).

Gaming related: Smash & Ratchet and Clank last night did me
as they say "all night long"

Yeah, he was calling out Jer for being the douche he is.

Now I'll prolly get silenced for calling Jer a douche.

SNES > NES

Jer is a douche.
I'm sorry.
Please don't silence me.
*cries himself to sleep*
I'm actually considering Warriors Orochi(sp) using the 25% coupon at GS. I dunno, I will get that or Ace Combat 6. I know you played both games Rei (I remember you saying AC6 wasn't as great as the others, but which would you rather get, since I'm into both)?

Played CoD4 online for a while last night and had fun. :D
SNES > NES
I definitely agree there. :D

Seriously, the NES is lame. There's like, no games worth playing on it that weren't released on other systems later on down the road. SNES is where really classic stuff started getting made.
No, because the Mario 3 on All-Stars is better.
This is 100% false. It's not a bad port, but the original is superior. :)
Mario 3 is on the NES and therefore NES > SNES
Haha! I believe the correct answer would be that the NES has River City Ransom, therefore making it better than the SNES.
Haha! I believe the correct answer would be that the NES has River City Ransom, therefore making it better than the SNES.
That point could be made as well.
But since I've never played it, I won't make it. ;)

There's nothing unreasonable about reporting someone for making a personal threat to come to your house and harm you. DarkSlayer violated CAG's rules.

I honestly don't understand what everyone has against me. How about some discussion and respect of others' opinions instead of instant vilification when they don't bow down to the same things you do? DarkSlayer took it well over the line and I hope he's learned a lesson.

Uncharted is pretty flipping good. I rented it the other day and I'm enjoying it a lot.
That point could be made as well.

You probably should drop whatever you're doing and spend the $5 on the Virtual Console. Prepare for happiness.
Seriously, the NES is lame. There's like, no games worth playing on it that weren't released on other systems later on down the road. SNES is where really classic stuff started getting made.
I agree. I personally find the NES overrated. I liked Mega Man, Super Mario Bros. 1 and 2, and maybe a few other games, but most all of its games aged terribly. SNES on the other hand, many of its games were great before and still great now.
Mario 3 is on the NES and therefore NES > SNES
I'm going to be honest hear, although I feel Mario 3 (original on NES) is the best Mario game ever (Super Mario World comes VERY close IMO), I prefer SNES in every other way.

SNES>NES. Felt that way at the time and even more so today. NES games just didn't age well. Too simplistic and they look like crap. SNES really refined 2D gaming and most of it's games have aged very well.

I'm the same way with N64/PSX, can't play most of those early 3D games today as they just look awful. But games from last gen and the current get I expect to age very well, just like the SNES did.

And Super Mario World> SMB 3. And of course Super Metroid> All.

that power rangers pic is the best thing I ever saw.

Ninja Gaiden: Sigma...very hard mode...on the way to the fight with Alma 1...cat chicks with fire ninjas
pimp.gif

I will finally beat Master Ninja this summer.

I always liked SMB 3 more than World, myself, but I enjoyed it much more on the SNES in the All Stars collection, mainly because of the save feature.

And playing as Dante in DMC4 has made me realize how much I relied upon Nero's Devil Bringer arm in combat. Now that I am forced to fight without it, combat just doesn't seem as fun somehow. Maybe if I had played any of the previous DMC games I would have more of an appreciation for Dante, but I had really gotten used to Nero. Now, I just want to get done with the Dante bits as quick as I can so I can get back to grabbing demons with my arm.

The NES also had Megaman 1-6 and Ninja Gaiden 1-3 (which all these games are balls hard) and Super Dodgeball, making it even more awesome.

Anyone played Soul Bubbles? I'm thinking about getting a new handheld game for when everything is in boxes for the move :p

It got 8s and such in the magazines I saw.

I reccomend Civ Rev or The World Ends With You. Well, hopefully Civ Rev is awesome on DS.

Agreed
On both things ;)

I thought it was pretty damn funny though
Which is why I sigged it :D

Because he knows where you live and he's actually going to do it, right?

In any case, I started Chrono Trigger finally...it's pretty good so far.

I had a lot more (free) NES games than SNES games, but I remember the SNES more fondly. Though I bought about 10 times more PS1 and PS2 games than NES games.

Started Jake Hunter. It's like playing Phoenix Wright while holding down the Fast Forward button.

Stood up a while last night playing Initial D....wish i had a steering wheel as it will make things alot easier....LMK when you get it Chac

In a way, I'm kinda jealous. I wish I could go back and play CT for the first time again.

What games would everyone else love to go back in time and play for the first time again?

For me, definatly Chrono Trigger. And Resident Evil 1.

What is better about the NES version of SMB 3, I much prefer the SNES port.

Chrono Trigger, Metroid Prime, Final Fantasy IX, Chrono Cross, Jak 2, Wind Waker, Zelda LttP, Mario All Stars, Mario World, Street Fighter II... all games I would love to go back and play for the first time again.

I'm trying to make my way through Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven, it's kind of hard (either I suck or it's difficult to control).

Turns out Dark got infractions twice (from two different mods) from that one post which is why he's silenced.

And yeah, there are a ton of games I wish I could experience for the first time again...most recently MGS4.

What the heck did he say?

I never know why people get into trouble around here.

He threatened to come to where I live and beat the fuck out of me. He's such a nice guy. I'd remove that from your signature if I were you, whoknows. Not because of fear of moderation, but it makes you look like a jerk being so proud of what DarkSlayer said. Don't act like you and your posse wouldn't be all over the report button if I had said the same thing to DarkSlayer.

I've never done anything to any of you to instigate that kind of hate. Grow up, already.

We're playing lots of Burnout Paradise today.
I have some interest in Civ Rev for the ds, but have never played a Civ game. what are they like?
They're very SimCity-like, but a lot lighter on the building elements. There's other nations building alongside you in the world, and you create alliances or go to war with them. Your Civilization progresses over time from using hand carts and stone spears to eventually launching space shuttles. It's bascially a world conquest type game, if you want it to be. You could just try to progress and create a peaceful civilization as well. Very addicting on the PC from what I've played.
