I don't really know of any differences in the two versions, but I'm sure Mana Knight can clear it up for us. ;) I do know that the PS3 was the lead platform for the game.

For me, it's all about the controller. I love racing with the triggers for gas/break (especially on something like Burnout where 90% of the time you're holding down a face button for boost), and the PS3 triggers are awful.

Along with MMX Collection I'm thinking about getting MMX8. I know it's kinda medicore, but any GGT thoughts on it?
MMX8 is decent. Definitely better than X7 though.

I tried MMX8 but didn't find all that fun. While it isn't nearly has bad as MMX7 was. I just didn't find any reason to keep playing the game. And I didn't like the 2.5D style they used. It doesn't help that I also hate hate Axel and X(Ever since the last game X annoyed me).

Can anyone make use of a GBA SP headphone adapter? I found one, brand new, while packing. I don't own a GBA anymore.
yay, Trauma Center 2 just arrived before I have to work tonight. I figured I be getting it next week due to using the super saver shipping. So it looks like I'll be rotating between some Podcast(I'm thinking 1up yours and Smodcast), MMBN 6 and Trauma Center 2. I played the 1st one until I couldn't progress any further due to the difficulty. So hopefully the Easy mode will be... well easy.
Mayng, even regular mode is doable now... though if you get stuck, you can drop it down to easy wherever you're at - you don't hafta start over.

I REALLY liked Mega Man X8. I actually liked Mega Man X7, but I'll admit it was one of my least favorite in the X series. I didn't expect much out of X8 (didn't even like the demo much), but the full version rocked. I beat it several times. Definitely worth it IMO.
The Ridge Racer 7 demo kinda sucked, honestly. The full game is sooo good though. I know the series gets a bad rap, thanks in part to Kaz Hirai, but R7 is totally worth owning if you like arcade style racers.
I thought the demo was ok, but the full version totally rocks. First PS3 game I got in early 2007 and played it a LOT. IMO, best Ridge Racer in the series too (like the small car upgrade additions).

Wow, the PS3's music sorting is pretty ass-backwards. You can't sort by Track Number within albums?

Is there a program out there that will take the ID3 track number tag and copy it into the file name tag? So, if I have a song with a tag:
Title: Song 100
Track: 13

It would change the ID3 tag to be:
Title: 13. Song 100
Track: 13

Since the PS3 sorts tracks alphabetically, it seems like that's the only reasonable option for a substantiatal music library. Most of the tools I've found are only for going from File name -> Tag or vice versa, rather than an addition to an existing tag from another tag.

EDIT: Nevermind, evidently the PS3 needs the total track count to make it work, so in iTunes I need it to be set for Track 13/15 in order for it to organize by track number. Weird.

Try Tag & Rename

The Trial Version should be sufficient.

I use mp3tag. It works great. It's free.
See my edit above. Very strange...
That is strange... I don't understand why that would be important.

I don't know either. But when it doesn't have that field filled in, the track numbers are just dashes on the PS3. But when it is filled in, it has the total tracks and inidividual tracks for each song.
Well, 3D action-adventure Castlevania hasn't worked out so far. I don't think this is the way to go though.
Lament of Innocence was good. A tad bland in level design in some areas but still a pretty solid title.

When I play music on my PS3, it's always in track order. I don't think I have that field filled in either. I just wish you could set it up to list albums like artist folder -> album folder -> track.

I loved Lament of Innocence... the combat was really good, and while yeah, the level design was sorta repetitive (very literally SOTN in 3d), it still had a shit-ton of secrets to uncover and great boss battles. Definitely worth owning.

Curse of Darkness was sorta like HIV.

But as long as the tracks are in order, I'll take the Artist->Full Song List Sorted By Album.

But yeah, it needs more tiers of organization. No reason to have it given how quick it is to zip around the directories on the XMB.

The current sorting isn't too bad. But I have 80 GB of music, and going through an artist that has a bunch of albums is annoying.

And I'll second the "Lament of Innocence is good, Curse of Darkness is HIV" statement.

Woo I got Burnout Paradise and Gears of War for 360 for under $50 total.

And a $10 copy of Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere in perfect condition.

Amen.

Thirded.

So I finally got FFCC:ROF out of the way, and while I don't want to touch the single-player again, I think the multi could be fun. Thought I could relax with some Jake Hunter, but I popped in Picross to try something out, and found that they added over a hundred new puzzles, when I thought they were done. So now I'm going to be stuck playing that for weeks.
Yowsa, my wife just came home with a ton of freshly picked strawberries and sugar-snap peas... yum!!
I miss the michigan cherries and strawberries back home.. :( Wisconsin's isn't bad, but it's just not the same.

We do have some awesome cherries and strawberries. I had a bottle of this Michigan Cherry wine from up north and it was awesome.

Ok, so I need some old NES/SNES game suggestions. Like odd ball games. I have most of the well known awesome games for the NES. Bionic Commando is hard as shit. I like it.

Sold the Pelican PS2/PS3 adapter I bought a few months ago for $2.99, for $50.

The search for a GBA Micro begins! Going to call Walmart tomorrow as it seems they are selling them for $30. I don't want the Famicom anniversary edition though. I want a silver one or black one.

When you take off the gold faceplate of the Famicom edition and you put on... say a silver faceplate, would it look good?

If you find a Famicom one, please remember that I want one. Will reimburse you for it. I had one and sold it. I wish I didn't now. :(

Why don't you just call Walmarts in your area? From what I read people are finding them there. That's what I'm doing tomorrow morning.

Micro's are completely dependent on your area.... for example, in my area they're a complete no-go. The one I have, I recently got off ebay for $40 shipped with 2 games. Not bad and the micro itself was in pristine condition!
persona 4 us 12/9/08... I'm here live at Atlus' Panel...
Someone just made a thread about that.
That's kinda soon, isn't it?
Considering the span of time between Persona 2 and 3.
I still need to get FES.

I have been to a few and no dice. I also don't like in KY. But Michigan. Jelly,KY is just a little joke between some friends. :whee:

Really? It's nice to know that. I guess I'll start on Normal then and see how it goes.

YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
I'm kind of hoping that they expand on the Social Links a little more. I thought they were pretty interesting in P3(And I really missed them when playing The Answer),

It was purchased to put on amazon. ;)

For obscure NES games, I reccomend-

Metal Storm
Shatterhand 1 or 2
Totally Rad
Shadow of the Ninja

As a start. They're all pretty awesome sidescrollers that don't get much mention.

I thought it was an ok movie. I agree with the change in the middle being not good. The thing is that it becomes a completely different movie. It's not that the second half is bad, it's just that it didn't seem to fit. If they had gone with the first half and made that a whole movie, or gone with the second half and made that a whole movie it would have been good.

Halo 3 was okay with friends, the SP was probably the best out of the series but that isn't saying much.
