I thought it was fun, and different form the other R&Cs. I haven't played it since it came out, though, so I'm not sure if I'd feel the same way now.
The demo for Deadlocked made it seem like it was a game comprised entirely of the bad objective based sections of the third game. My flatmate used to buy the R&C games for me for Christmas (cause I liked them, but also cause he wanted to play the newest one and I owned the PS2
). We avoided Deadlocked like the plague when it came out.
I thought the general take on Deadlocked was in line with me and my flatmate's take, since the next game (size matters?) was a PSP version of the original trilogy and deadlocked style play/multi/whatever seemed to vanish.
