I've been to rifftrax maybe once. Didn't seem to be anything there at the time, and I never went back.

Mike can definately be funnier, I don't disagree. But my heart goes to Joel; he had a childlike attitude and the show was far more child-safe with him. No, I dont have any kids, but I like having good g-rated humor around. Jaeli and I have almost all of them, and we watch one almost everyday. I spent last night in the Boggy Creek and Crenshaw. :lol:

I bet a certain someone's head would asplode from that game if it got released here in the States. I would buy it. I mean, cartoon nudity is gross.

I think I might finally open my Ninja Gaiden II and play it.
 
Something about the last stratum in EO makes me want to give up doing quests that provide a generally insignificant reward. First game I gave up around there and now getting to 22F, I don't really care to mess around with any more quests in EO2. 4 more floors!

I want to get FFIV, but even with the CC gift card, it's kinda like they're letting me buy it at what the retail price should have been. Hard to consider it a "deal" and I'm haven't really been on the edge of my seat waiting for FFIV to release again.

Of all the spin off projects it's closest to MST3K, it is a bit more "adult" in content though if that's a concern.
 
We're getting there. Furniture delivery today, TV delivery & DirecTV install tomorrow. I've been getting the den to be the best movie and game zone it can be, meanwhile my wife has been working her tail off getting the other 3/4 of the house setup. ;)

I'll get pictures of the den up when it's all set. With a little luck I might even be able to make the cabling look clean!

The Dark Night was quite good, though I think the pacing was a little quick in some places, which didn't help the exposition. It still felt it's length, though. Also, the Watchmen trailer: :drool:

More FFVII today; nothing exciting.
 
I'm going to have to steal my N64 games and such from my grandma. I feel bad, but I gave her my gamecube and the god damn kids never play the n64 anymore, and I need the money. I have a pretty decent collection too!

Couch is delivered, speakers are setup and calibrated, now we just need the entertainment center's head :p
 
I just picked up a 750 GB HDD and three DS games from Best Buy. I got Final Fantasy IV, The World Ends With You and Trauma Center 2. I am not backing up my girl's PC and going to reformat and reinstall windows. Then I am going to be messing around with my new HDD and see what I can put on it and get to work with my PS3 and 360.
 
What time for Burnout Paradise? I'd be down, 'cept I'm guessing the timezone thing will prevent me from participating. :p

Beyond SCIV, which I suspect Amazon won't ship to me until like next week (meaning I won't get that game until maybe a couple weeks from now), I have my eye on several Atlus DS titles coming soon: Witch's Tale, Rhapsody, and Disgaea. I assume the latter two are just ports? If that's the case, I may end up with just Witch's Tale. ne1 else interested in those games?

I want Rhapsody and Witch's Tale. I have the PSP Disgaea port. I want Rhapsody for it's portability.
 
I'm certainly down for GGT 360 Burnout night. I'm game for any night this week (including weekends). I'd say it'd be best to play after thursday so that way we all have the new update.
 
Yeah, let's do it after the update. Thursday or Friday?

Trying to figure out what games and movies to pop in first to the new setup when the TV gets here tomorrow. I think Burnout will be great. This is the first time I've ever had anything remotely approaching the proper setup for surround sound. No more speakers sitting at random heights on book shelves! ;)
 
Started a bunch of new titles (to me) today...Fable TLC, Gta iv, and Drill Dozer

Played through the training of Fable and I'm surprised by how much I liked it (great sense of humor and doing bad things is.....fun).

Gta iv is astounding, of course, but all I've played so far is the single player. The sense of hanging out with people is really good (lol at getting drunk and still driving) and again, doing bad things is fun (realistic car physics make it even moreso).

Drill Dozer isn't bad, but the 10 minutes I played of it, it just seems all the same. Drill, jump, cutscene...

Speaking of all of the same, or should I say completely insane, my friend was over the other day and said that Warioware: Smooth Moves was the dumbest game he's ever played. He's a casual for what it's worth (not meant to stereotype/namecall but he only plays the mainstream stuff, if that).

Hmmm, it seems I'm getting $5,000 from the accident I got into about a year ago. I think I'll put most of the money into my savings and use the rest to buy an HDTV. Can GGT give me any ideas of what HDTVs to look into?
 
I've been a big fan of WarioWare games.

Smooth Moves was okay, there were a couple games that I thought were really hard to control but it was still fun to beat my high scores.

Still, the original one on the GBA was my favorite. Still proud of my 100 on Thrilling =)

WarioWare Smooth Moves was alright, not a $50 game by any stretch of the imagination though. I still like twisted the best. :)

Picked up Tomb Raider: Legend, Prey, Sega Rally Revo, King Kong, Stranglehold, and Chronicles of Riddick EFBB at the old Blockbuster for a cool $43.42.

Played some Burnout Paradise with one of my CAG friends today. It was fun. Played a little SingStar too.

Also trying to apply for a job (although I made a last minute change on my resume) locally. I could get a much better job if I went far away from home, but meh.

daroga: I'm not really looking for a large one since I'm going to probably use it in my bedroom, so maybe something around 25-30 inches? I'll need to check the size of my TV unit. As for price I'm thinking around $900-$1000. The one thing I need to keep in mind is my 360 and PS3. I'd like to be able to have them both hooked up to the TV instead of using one of the boxes...
 
I'm on amazon customer support trying to get SC4 CE PS3 for 40 dollars. Can't afford it but I'm getting it anyways.
