Anyone in here platinum enslaved? Seemed like it should be easy since I gave it a one through to get maklershed off my back, but i'm not really looking forward to tracking down every little motherfucking tech orb... there doesn't even seem to be a good guide for it. :(

So, what are some good XBLA exclusives besides Shadow Complex, Limbo, and Splosion man? I bought 2 1600 points cards just now, but I have no idea why.

Damn my impulse buying!

Toy Soldiers.

Comic Jumper and Snoopy Flying Aces were pretty good to. x:

Monday Night Combat and Hydro Thunder were also exclusive I believe.

Alright thanks for the recommendations both of you. I'll probably get Limbo, then maybe Comic Jumper.

My resolution is to not make any resolutions......fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. But seriously folks making a New years resolution is just retarded.
Super Meat Boy and Plants vs. Zombies. Both are on other platforms, but not on PSN.
This.

Although for some reason, I can't play Super Meat Boy on 360... I tried, I hated it. Bought it on steam during one of the sales and I like it like 800x more. :|

And stay far away from Comic Jumper. While the humor is good, the gameplay eats a fat dick. Worst 1200 points I've ever spent, easily.

If you like Twisted Pixel games though, check out The Maw. Geometry Wars 2 (and 1), Ikaruga, and Rez HD are also great.

What kind of tongue is this? I do not understand this dialect!

Syntax! It is out of order!

God, I have been up all night.
Keyboard on PC frosty for SMB?
Oddly enough, I like the 360 controller better.
I can't get the precision I want with the arrows for some reason -- I know it's supposed to be better, but I can't do it.

Yeah, I can't see how anyone could like playing a game like that with a keyboard. Then again, I can't even stand the keyboard portion of keyboard/mouse controls in FPS games.
My resolution is to not buy any games in 2011*. I have way too many sitting in my closet sealed. And I rarely play anything these days. So burned out.
So far, so good. There's like 4 games I would normally have bought already. I need to stop looking at the deals page.

*
I've allotted myself $10 bucks worth of iOS games a month, if that, since games sales a frequent and many times plain free
*
3DS and it's games may be a big exception
*
fuck, but what about Ico/Sotc/Last Guardian? Yakuza 4? Uncharted 3? Fuuuuuck!
I've been feeling burnt out off and on. I think it's cause I have too much to play. Does that even make sense?

That's it, I'm doing a mass exodus of games and then I'll only have a handful I can appreciate. I think back on how I was a couple years ago...I'd get a new game to play like once every other month, and Id play the shit out of it.

Now I want to play everything and follow game news too closely. It's making me sick, honestly.

I'll be dumping like 25 games to Amazon this weekend.
I've been feeling burnt out off and on. I think it's cause I have too much to play. Does that even make sense?

It makes perfect sense. I had a small backlog of 20 or so games last gen, and it nearly killed my interest in gaming.

I got burnt out as it was feeling like work instead of fun as I always felt pressured to beat a game and move on to the next one. I've never been a game collector, so I hated all those games sitting their and losing sell/trade value etc.

I ended up just ditching a bunch of unplayed games at the end of that generation, and this gen I've just been getting games when I have time to play them right away and not letting myself build a backlog.

I've been a lot more into gaming this generation and haven't gotten burnt out nearly as much.

With the advent of free look, I agree entirely. Serious Sam HD on a keyboard is some shit. :\

:applause:

Some things I accumulated thinking over my cag break:

Cheska, you banged gaymer's head with your bewbs?

Comparing Calladooty Casual Gaming to Motion Control Casual Gaming is dumb. I hate Calladooty but at the very least it is a game,
just-dance-wii-087.jpg
is NOT a game, it's the current-gen equivalent of a fucking baby's shake-toy that lights up when he throws it against the wall.

Six Feet Under is fucking awesome, I finished season 4 and immediately had to order Season 5 with my amazon trade-in credit. Also, amazon trade-in is a pretty cool guy, they accepted all those games I hated.

I turned my useless MyCokeRewards points into BestBuy GCs, I'm thinking about getting a PSN card. Which made me take a look at the PSN store, and whoknows, I actually apologize; the PSP games are not as unfairly priced as I thought. Some of them are actually less than a physical copy online. Others though are retarded.

I got my Pokemanz HeartGold, put 10 hours into it in two days, stupid addicting baby game.

Time Crisis Razing Storm's story mode actually gets a little more tolerable as you go on.

My local rental place that has always rented new releases the friday before they're released is closing, which means A) I can't get the social network, B) netflix can blow me, and C) they're going to start selling all their stock cheap on monday, so I'll have to go down and see if they have any games--they used to.

I also apologize to whoknows. The PSPGo is completely awesome and I totally bought one
as soon as I found out that you can hack it on any firmware

I had a hacked PSP for a couple months. This is how it went:

Oh, cool, I can play flash games and old emulator stuff.

Oh, hey, a new UMD game came out and I bought it. I better go look for the newest Custom Firmware.

Then I had to go on a 40 hour adventure to downgrade and upgrade and all this stupid shit and I realized I don't really care about homebrew and just put it back on normal firmware.

I'm watching Easy A, and while I'm sad Amanda Bynes turned into a chipmunk-woman, I would do so many unspeakable things to a red-haired Emma Stone.

As far as gaming resolutions, mine is to stop buying cheap games i'm never going to play just because they're super cheap.

Doesn't CAG have a recover password option where you can have it sent to your e-mail to reset the password? If that doesn't work, PM cheapy.

I had to do that when I took a long break from CAG a while back as I'd forgotten the password and couldn't recover it as I no longer had the e-mail I'd used to sign up (old school account).

He just posted he got drunk and forgot his password. Either that, or he's just doing with accounts what he does with his consoles.

Yay!! Welcome to the club. I completely underestimated the PSPGO, and it turned out being one of the vest handhelds available. Digital downloading isn't as bad as I thought, and it actually benefits the collector in me :) Love it!!

I've been itching to build a new PC and the microcenter deal isn't helping. Totally shouldn't spend the cash on it though.

Cheska, you played 999 for seven hours? Why can't all women be like you.

speaking of women, fuck. MILTANK. you were an asshole in elementary school and you're a slut now

dude....Yesterday i totally got my 360 set up, got a bunch of games, looked at my PS3 collection, made a quick mental note of what exclusives I have left to play (nothing until Last Guardian), surveyed the games I could replace on the 360 (demon's souls sequel is multiplat), then remembered the 50% bonus, then realized the bonus would give me more for my PS3 than I paid out of pocket....

then brought that bitch to gamestop and got a bunch of XBLA points, games (ME2, Blazblue CS), a 3DS preorder, SSFIV Fightpad, and about $25 leftover.

They even let me trade it with a shitty 3rd party controller, so I got to keep the dualshock 3 for my PSPGo.

BAM!

The dinja nog console cycle begins anew. Until next year PS3! Call me when Last Guardian comes out.

AAATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATA

Honestly if I didn't have so many games, controllers and rock band shit, I'd kind of want to get rid of my 360. But that's probably just passing disinterest.

I'm mulling over finally picking up a PS2 now that they're so cheap used at gamestop but I don't know. what are must-have ps2 titles? i've never owned one.

You are koo koo my friend.

I'm just letting my friend borrow my US 360. I don't really care when I get it back... I mean, there's nothing worth playing on the damn thing.

I really wanna play through Final Fantasy XII. Such a good game.

Wut genres are you interested in? Cuz there's must have shit in every one of 'em. Cuz the PS2 is the best system ever.

RPGs, platformers, action/adventure...fighters, but unless there's something really great I'd probably stick to the triple for those. I already know if I ever get one I wanna pick up Kingdom Hearts/KHII, FFX, and Persona 4.

Rachet & Clank series, Jak series, and Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series are all really good for the PS2. Dragon Quest VIII is fairly awesome as well.
