I've had it pre-ordered since the day Amazon put it up, and I've always been under the impression the DLC wasn't Day 1.

This movie is real good, a welcome change from the shit I've been watching.

Played 2 more levels of Splinter Cell Conviction. I don't really get it. Was this game supposed to be good? It just seems like a poor man's Metal Gear to me. I mean Mark and Execute is nice and all but there's no real skill involved with it.

Plus whoever is voicing Sam Fisher is clearly drunk off their ass.

Conviction is a terrible game. There's parts of it that are pretty decent, but as a whole, it's poorly designed and it's obvious the developers lacked a clear vision of what they wanted to do with it. I got it during that glitch at the Ubi store where it was 90 cents... that was about the right price. If I'd paid $60 for it, I'd probably have gone on a shooting rampage.
 
I paid $15 for it when Amazon put it on sale. I think I have 5 Missions left in the campaign (the last one was pretty long though) so I guess I'm halfway done now. I'd say I've gotten my money's worth but I'd give it a 5 or a 6 to be honest. Maybe something amazing will happen in those last 5 Missions but I'm not holding my breath.
 
I wish the avatars I got from the PS Rewards program didn't have the name of the tier on them, as they look really tacky the way they currently are. I do like the dynamic themes, especially the Ratchet & Clank theme.
 
Just hated the black and white in Splinter Cell: Conviction, so ugly and very hard to see. Worst design choice, ever.

Just think of it as Bourne and it becomes amazing.

I wouldn't know since I kill everything in sight and move on. That made the Sorrow battle in MGS3 really fun.

Man, I tried to play Epic Mickey last night. Got about 2 and a half hours in and quit. Idk what it is, but it just doesn't feel fun.
 
Speaking of MvC3, my Gamestop is having a midnight opening...wtf? I'm kind of tempted to go just this once since I'm off that night anyway. I just want to see what other people would show up to it.

I agree, the gameplay is what does it in for me. I like the characters and the story, but the game itself is just not fun.

I had a dream last night about a midget couple dressed up like cats terrorizing my home town. They would roam the streets at night and kill anyone they found in horribly brutal ways. I came to town and caught the male midget and then his mate wanted to kill me, but I killed her because when she came after me I was making waffles and I crushed he head in the waffle iron.

Hmm, my dream last night consisted of me and one of my best friends trying to find the way back to my NYC apartment through some sort of horrible combination of an Italian city that then seemed more like Hong Kong as well as Tokyo, but also like NYC; all because the subway was out of service so we had to walk the rest of the way, except since the place was so strange I didn't know where to go.

This. Conviction was highly amusing. My favorite parts are interrogating people AKA beating the fuck out of them.

I liked the writing on the walls too. I just pretended Sam was insane the whole game. If you go about it that way, then it is indeed amazing.

I kept yelling "FEED ME A CAT" that Christian Bale's character in American Psycho sees on the ATM near the end of that movie. :D
