Wow, I didn't know there was a demo coming. Downloading now!
I just ordered 10lbs of swedish fish. The red kind.
Wow I once made jello shots with swedish fish (so they looked like they were swimming) freakin cool looking

Just finished playing it. I love how they tweaked the combat, and I'm even more hyped for the game now. March 8th can't get here soon enough!
That site is blocked at work, but I think I found the same video on Youtube... and uh ya I'm way more effeminate then that; but if you'd heard my voice when I'm playing MvC3 (which much of the GGT has at this point) you would understand why it would be awkward.

Are you from NY too Chibi_Kaji?
I haven't play MvC 3 online with any CAGs yet.

yeah, I live out on long island.

Well, to put it simply you were mostly right about why it might be considered awkward, although I think I'm very passable so long as I don't talk. ;)

And I live in NYC right outside of Manhattan in Queens.
icebeezys secret is out but mine remains in the cupboard
I'm telling you I'm sure it was talked about on the GGT before. You just need to find the right way to approach the subject. ;)

Also I got my MvC3 guide today, now maybe I can actually learn how to play She-Hulk since nobody else does, haha.

My MvC3 guide and KZ3 won't be here til 4pm at the earliest I'd guess, though the other day UPS showed up at like 2 or 3pm... that shit was weird but nice, since it was the day they brought me MvC3.

My guide isn't estimated for arrival until tomorrow.

Does JSP have a man-crush on Shrike or TMK? Is that the secret?!

Looks like Muchi Muchi Pork/Pinksweets shipped today. I'll be lucky to have it in 1 week- a week and a half. Looking forward to playing that one. I've played the original board of Muchi, but have never played Pinksweets.
I'm in love with
frosty. DAT SNOWMAN!
I don't blame you, I mean as we discussed last night, Frosty is one horny snowman.

haha, I pre-ordered the Helgeist edition at gamestop to avoid waiting for amazon to deliver it. But it turns out that version won't arrive at GS until later today. But to be fair the GS clerk did say she would give me a normal copy of the game that I could return later for the Helgeist edition.
So we getting a Killzone 3 game going tonight bros?
I'll have my too cool for Killzone 3 night tonight.

Play the Dragon Age 2 demo instead.
Mana is gonna host a night for it. Not sure you wanna go that route.
As long as I'm on the other team and can put a few bullets or 80 in him, that's fine by me.
Send me an invite if you see me on.
No one else is playing Tactics Ogre? Probably the best SRPG I've played since Front Mission 3.
I just got to chapter 2. I'm really enjoying it. Will probably put P3P aside.

I actually missed my stop on the bus the other day because I was so into it.

That's exactly where I am. Did you do lawful or chaotic?
Lawful, it was a tough decision though.
I did as well. Ends justify the means, but yeah it was a tough decision.

In the middle of playing the Dragon Age 2 demo, and I've gotta say, in my opinion, the combat blows the first one out of the water. I actually feel like I'm doing something instead of just pressing a button and waiting for the enemy, or myself to just die. Really damn awesome.

Should be fine. If there's 3 or 4 of you guys who want to play though we could just make our own squad or whatever.

Ohh lol wait,
I though saving the civilians was lawful? If you killed them, may I ask what happened? Right now I'm an outlaw, and Vyce shot Raveness which sucked because she barely took off as a character

I'd be cool with that.

lol this sounds horrible to me. the fact that it looks like a ps2 game doesn't help it either.

Witcher 2 please.

But Killzone 3 night is the best night!

You are extremely cynical when it comes to DA2.

And the graphics looked great in the demo. Much better than the first.

We agree!

PC demo should be out later today, right? I at least want to try it. I hope it doesn't suck, but it probably will... and the fact that The Witcher 2 is coming probably doesn't make DA2 seem any more appealing, as it's not the only RPG on the horizon.

Wow, I wish I had the version of the PS2 you had that could pump out those graphics.

DA2 demo was fantastic.

This.

The only thing I kind of didn't like in the demo was the way each dialogue option had a picture associated with it. As long as there is no paragon/renegade type deal though, I'm not gonna complain too much.

I'm sure DA2 will be mildly enjoyable, I'll just be waiting for it to be dirt cheap + DLC. And it's nice to know that an ancient computer could probably run it.

It's just a slap in the face for me, with Bioware touting their DA franchise as a return to the glory of Baldur's Gate -- and now here they are making a kung fu game with fucking dialogue wheels.

I won't call it bad, but it's definitely not for me.

It plays exactly the same as the first game. The combat is only faster and you have the option of either using button presses for each attack or using the old school auto-attack option.

What are you talking about? Kung Fu? :whistle2:s

Yep, I played a mage in the original DA and in the DA2 demo and it felt almost exactly the same, with the exception of actually pressing a button for each individual attack.

Have the DA2 demo downloading. Curious to check out whether I like the combat more with button presses rather than the auto attack crap that I hate.

Won't be buying it anytime soon as I still have a ton to do in the first one (Awakenings and the 3 outside game DLC chapters). So if I like it I'll wait for the inevitable ultimate edition a year or two down the road. I can only stomach a couple WRPGs a year anyway and ME3 will be my 2nd this year.

Need to play Fallout: NV as well--but will probably wait for a GOTY edition for that as well assuming it gets a bunch of DLC like Fallout 3 did. The Oblivion sequel I may buy on it's own, whenever I'm feeling up to another WRPG after ME3 as I loved Oblivion.
