What link? Maybe you should check again.

....you're alright, kid.

I think I'm gonna go on an ANIME BUYING BINGE, which is uncharacteristic because I rarely buy/watch anime...but I might get Summer Wars and the ret of Evangelion I'm missing from gohastings.

Not sure if I want to check out Summer Wars or not. I might just cancel the rest of my pre-orders until I pay off my card...

Played the DA2 demo and loved it. Maybe I should go and try to finish my last play through of DAO...

I never really liked Evangelion it is what scared me away from anime and manga when I was younger, because everyone seemed to be so obsessed with it. Luckily I found that there were a lot of other shows that I actually enjoyed that were nothing like Evangelion, like Chobits, with Chii, my first cosplay:

I wore a dress very similar to this:

I always want to buy anime but never do, I just can't justify spending money on something so readily available online when I have such a tight budget. Summer Wars looks like a nice blu-ray to own though.

Well almost first, I did this for Halloween before the convention where I wore that:

Painted my body to look like:

I've always wanted to watch Evangelion ever since I was a kid. I tried watching it back when Adult Swim aired it, but it was always on at like 1am and this was after getting rid of the VCR to record shit but before TiVo, so I only saw the first few episodes. And then I bought the first disc from gamestop like....years and years ago, so I've still only seen the first 4 episodes or so.

I'm able to more easily justify buying DVDs (of anime or of anything) because I hate watching shit on my computer and I get jizzed about having a complete collection of something on my shelf.

Evangelion is a bit overrated IMO. About 10 episodes were pretty cool, but I think it's popular more because of the chicks in plug suits.

Go get yourself Gundam Unicorn. Next episode comes out in March! Best mecha shit I've ever seen.

NGE is ok, but I will say that I hate all of the endings.

Gundam Unicorn is pretty damn nice...but WAY over priced.
I'm sure most of the animes we're talking about have shitty game adaptions.
That is some kotaku logic right there.

But it doesn't matter, because how often is the GGT on topic anyway?

Evangelion is amazing. I'm actually going up to Boston to see the first two movies in the theater next week.

Where do you think the "Rei" in "Rei no Otaku" comes from ;)

Anime in a theater? What a waste of a screen.

Just kidding. I've never seen them I don't think.
If they were in a theater near me I might

Bros, let's be real here.

Teen Mom 2 is on tonight.

Tonight.

The latest Morgan J. Freeman masterpiece will be unleashed on us all.

Be scared.

k, now Imma go to the gas station and buy a 44 oz. Dew and some potato wedges.

DA2 demo is up? Shit I'm outta touch.

I thought I was gonna bro-it-up with Bulletstorm, but nah, I'll wait till that shit drops in price.

I'd have to drive into the city if I wanted to see the 2nd NGE movie...fuck that shit. It would be cheaper to buy the Bluray. I did see the FMA movie since it was shown in a local theater...

Bulletstorm looks decent. But being a short single player campaing and a Horde like online mode, it's a wait for Goozex game for me.

Only anime movies I've seen in theaters are:

Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and Panyo.

I seriously need to get Howl's Moving Castle on DVD, I really love that movie and I want to watch it again. Spirited Away is one of my favorite movies ever as well both animated and not animated and I do own that on DVD, always fun to put it in and watch it.

I've actually never seen an anime movie in theaters.

I saw Godzilla 2000 in the theater.

Also went to gas station. Holy shit, high schoolers are soooooooooo smoking hot now. WTF man? My class got robbed.

Yes I sound like a dirty old man. Because I am.

great.... I can't find my DS charger so I can't play my copy of radiata historia.

After reading up on what little info there is on it, I think Ghost Recon Shadow War could be one of the first 3DS games I buy.

Hank: I actually saw Godzilla 2000 for my birthday.

As for highschoolers, haven't really seen many lately... the only girls I really see are coworkers.

It's "Radiant Historia"

I know I shouldn't care, but I keep seeing people messing up the name everywhere online.

Blame Google.

Godzilla 2000 was sweet as shit. $5 to see it, worth it.

Also it's after 2:30, school's out for the day, so they all hit the gas station for food and snacks and shit. Small town blues. So like 6 cars come zooming up on cue, all high schoolers.

But damn, so smoking hot. . .17 is legal in IL, so I'm not too dirty.

I like my steak medium rare.

Actually I forgot I also saw Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence in theaters, that movie kind of sucks, like there are parts where I just don't follow what the hell is going on. The original Ghost in the Shell is fairly cool though.

Yeah, I love that movie. It is one of the movies that made me reconsider my opinion on anime.

If I wasn't too lazy to find a brofist picture it would be right here.

In this post.

The funny thing is, when they were closing, they had all of the spare cover inserts (because all of their doubles were being sold in rental cases) in a big box, and I know the guy who ran the place, so I was like, is it cool if I look through there for anything I'm missing? And it was, so I took the insert for Spirited Away. Double fuckery

Also, why does the evangelion movie cost 400 dollars? They've released this series like 80 times, did they never think to reprint that?
