Tribes, I love you gurl, but this "voice prompt" bullshit? It is not a replacement for voice chat (with a mute option, of course). I can not ski backwards while dodging grenandes and shooting at my pursuers and hit the combination of keys necessary to trigger the "Take the flag from me!" cry.

All people use it for is to spam "Yes!" "No!" Yes!" "Yes!" "Good Game!" "Shazbot!" "Yes!" all game long. And there's no friendly fire in this game, so I can't even kill these people.
 
Tribes indeed.

I need a spotter for my juggernaut. I got wrecked by a pair of snipers last game because I had to keep popping out from cover to align my mortar.

Also, I am a fucking terrible sniper. A mouse with variable DPI would probably help - and I do need a new mouse - but holy shit. I just can not snipe in Tribes.

Went to a friend's birthday party, and got a little twisted, not too bad though (I was feeling fairly good by the time I walked from the BART station back to my apartment). We had dinner at a fairly good Japanese place, but I didn't have too many things since I'm trying to stay fairly strict to my fully vegetarian diet (they had some vegetarian rolls and I got vegetable udon).

Interesting, it was my friend's bday today too! But I had other things to attend to, so i missed the seafood dinner before the bars.

I sold my Wii and am happy. I also remember how much I played my Gameboy more than any home console.

I wish Nintendo would only make portables honestly. They always do it right there, I can't give a shit about any of their home systems.

3DS eShop is where its at.
 
I'm tempted to pick up one of these to finally get a stick for PS3. I keep saying I'm going to dual mod my :360: TE, but the PCBs are always out of stock when I look.

Went to the movies Friday night to see Chronicle.
Good movie, actually.
There was a huge, huge line, though.
I assumed it would be for Star Wars.

But then I realized the crowd was quite mixed (not a racist comment, I meant types of different people).
I asked someone, "What the fuck is this huge line for?"
Someone just responded, "Iunno dat Denzel movie"
I don't even think they sold any tickets for Star Wars.

Also, Josh, i just watched the trailer for the Hunger Games. That movie is gonna suck.

It really is. There is no good way to find demos (All three of them :bouncy:). No nice sorting by ratings. Why the fuck is video so prominently displayed? Who the fuck watches videos on a 3DS?
 
I've been playing a lot of arkham city lately also. I finally started knocking off all the riddles and riddler trophies. There seems to be a ton more this time around compared to AA.

I've been really excited for Chronicle ever since the trailer first came out. Gotta see that shit, hopefully within the next couple weeks.

Depends.
Do you like challenge maps and the like?
Do you enjoy the challenges themselves, like finding the answers, etc?

I plan on eventually trying to platinum the game, I think, so it was on my list to do. I loved doing all the riddler stuff in Arkham Asylum anyway, so while some of it was aggravating, I still enjoyed it.

Can I recommend you do it if you hate the riddler challenges and stuff? Probably not, not unless you're an achievement/trophy whore or want the extra stuff unlocked.
