Beware that asshats will not work with you on the objectives for Human team most times. It's like L4D met DS and they had a necromorphic baby. I had a lot of fun running around the walls as the 3 tentacle lurker things and it's always fun to kill necros as a human, so even though it's frustrating, it's still fun to an extent. I just wish my teammates would cooperate sometimes so the human team could win.

Well gents, I might be sightly MIA this weekend (most certainly from PSN) as I will be in Colorado getting my fresh pow on.

As much as I'm stoked for snowboarding in the Rockies, I REALLY WANT TO PLAY MvC3 aswell. I feel like I'm just getting the hang of the button execution, assist play and overall feel of the game. Been able to bust out some sweet stuff in the lab, but getting them to work in play is a whole different ballgame.

Just looked over my list of games that I have started, but haven't finished:

The video that plays at the end of the demo just about sold me on MK. Definitely keeping my pre-order for now.

Torchlight is great, I like it more than Deathspank.
 
So uh... if you guys like being spoiled the fuck out of, somebody decrypted a text file from the demo that includes all the characters, the 300th mission's prize, character endings, story mode dialog, etc.

Now the real question is if MK9 AI will be on same levels as Super Turbo AI. Then 300 missions (320 for mvc3!) might be a pain in the ass if the CPU can cheat.

This one is more active, so I'll get more responses in here. The other one is more gameplay oriented anyway.

In the demo, medium difficulty might as well be very easy, but there's about 4 difficulties above that. I'll give it a shot later tonight to see how good the CPU AI is.

You can buy your way through a mission using the in-game coin currency, so I don't think it'll be that big of a deal. It will just be really, really expensive to do so.
 
On beginner you might as well not even be playing.

I was way to happy that I pulled off a Fatality in one try last night. Took me 2 tries to knock someone in a pit though. I didn't know where the block button was so I tried it without holding it first...

Edit: At least I saved a whopping 41 cents off of the game.

I did something with Scorpion where i figured out how to hit with something low then spear them out of the air. Scorpion's fatality was the only one I didn't pull off yet. Maybe if I give the demo another spin.

Yeah. Scorpion has a move where he pulls out some blades and swipes low, when it hits, it's almost like an OTG bounce from marvel... if you're fast, you can throw the spear and catch them before they land.

I think I know the move you're talking about, but I thought that hit mid. Making the character bounce reminds me more of when you bounce a character off the ground in Tekken, though.

I just got my Signature Edition from Amazon today. :drool: But I still haven't finished Awakening which I started a while ago (and a few of the other DLCs which I haven't started), and I want to beat that first, and I have PAX this weekend, so I have a feeling I'm not going to be able to start Dragon Age 2 for at least another week or two, haha.

Also I beat the first Gym in Pokemon last night, I had lots of trouble with the leader since his Lillipup kept using Bite which I was having the worst luck with it startling my pokemon, ultimately I used Purrloin since she was resistant to Bite and had her power him down so he didn't keep boosting his attack, after I took that out the plant pokemon Pansage was a joke with my Pansear fire monkey. This morning I caught Audino.

Same here, haven't finish Awakening(and not sure if I will). At least PAX is a pretty good reason not to start. So much awesome will be there this weekend.

I'm playing Awakening now. Will finish that and then the Golems and Witch Hunt DLCs and be done with everything in the ultimate edition.

DA2 will wait for summer or fall when I feel like playing the franchise again and the game is on sale for $30-40.

I thought of waiting for the ultimate again, but honestly it saves money but burns me out on the games as it's just too much content to play through at once. I know I could spread it out, but I don't tend to do that if I have GOTY/Ultimate editions. So I think I'd rather buy DLC as it comes out like I did with ME2 so I'm forced to spread it out.
