GGT88 got the knife and kept stabbing and stabbing until finally Joel's wife was dead
Then you'll probably like this one, even if it's just a little.
Hopefully! We'll find out soon enough. The demo is downloading now.
I wonder if those are in the game.
I don't think they are. Which makes me kind of sad... Sure Fatalities are awesome, but there is something about beating the crap out of someone and doing a Friendship.

In that interview on Gamespot with Boon I think he said something along the lines of if they are in the game you have to find them on your own and they aren't saying anything making me think they might be. Maybe.

There's an achievement/trophy for doing one of each type of "ality" or something like that.
Maybe it's DLC....
I don't think they'd make something like that DLC.

It's not like we're talking about Capcom.

Prepare to be disappointed.

Frosty: But A Friendship isn't an "ality" :(

There is an Achievement for Mlieena called "Best...Alternate...Ever!"... Kind of curious to see what it is. And another one for a Cyber Sub-zero...

They already did announce some DLC Fatalities. Granted they are pre-order bonus at the moment, but I'm sure they'll be made downloadable at some point.

the return of babalities and animalities!

So I actually did not hate the demo. It didn't sell me on the game, but I think if others from the GGT are getting it, then I'll consider it.

Assuming 1 is the lamest... probably a 4/10. Too much stupid, and it looks like a shoddily made game from the brief gameplay-looking parts.

Looks pretty cool.

If I were seanR, I would've went with McGarnagle.
If I didn't like corrosivefrost, I'd change it now.
It's just stuck in my head for some reason.
Maybe I'll go register it as a silver account.
Prepare to be disappointed.
I just can't believe they'd put something like that as DLC.

I will be disappointed if they do though.

It does look like a bit of an over the top, janky mess.
But that's par for the course for most of Suda's games though.

Again, part of each retailer exclusive pre-order bonus is a classic fatality for Sub-Zero,Scorpion or Reptile.

Oh man, I missed the Grasshopper logo the first time I watched the trailer. Well, still looks like shit, which makes me sad :( I really liked Killer 7 and NMH2.

Man, we REALLY got trolled by Hank a bit ago when he was all like "yo Final Fight Streetwise is awesome, you gotta get it... so good blah blah".

I bought it off Amazon, and that shit sucks balls. Like.... really badly. $8 WASTED.

Yeah, but they still have fatalities. It's not like for any fatalities for those characters you have to get the bonus DLC

The classic fatalities are just extras.

Lol, he insists its a sweet game cuz it's like the ultimate game for just being a $$$$er.

Hmmm, looks interesting, although I pray the gameplay is nothing like Killer 7, I really didn't like how that game played. The plot kind of strikes me as Silent Hill 2ish, which is a good thing. I'd give that trailer maybe a 7 or 8.

Not feelin' the MK demo. There's too many fucking buttons to use a fight stick properly. Six is enough, as proven by the SF and MvC series. Tekken only needs 4.
Why the fuck do I need a block and throw, and stance change and whatever else?
And the xray attacks and modifiers are used by hitting combination of shoulder buttons?
Why then is the super special edition fight stick using the old mk layout?

I'd say MK is the worst offender for fighting game DLC so far.

Mainly because of stuff like this and some other shit you probably don't know about like DLC chars, stages, etc.

It's revenge for not sending him his package yet.

Well characters and stages aren't really a surprise for a fighting game.

Plus from what I've seen MK has a lot to it to begin with. If the game was say...barebones like a certain other fighting game that recently came out then I might be annoyed by the DLC, but doesn't look to be that way.

Yea, it has missions where you fight under certain condition and mini-games, bro.

Bought my girlfriend pokemon white in hopes she'll buy me black. :3 Chances are pretty good since today marks our 5 and 11/12's anniversary and next Saturday is my birfday. :whee: Not sure what I'll do for our 6 year anniversary. :/

I heard that the game feels like mk vs dc. So shouldn't the buttons be:

Square: Punch
Triangle: Punch
X: Kick
O: Kick

R1: throw
Re: bloack

Or something like that?? I'd be so angry if there is an advantage of using a fight stick, in an mk game

Edit: nvm you used a fight stick
Waste of dev time for frivolous crap, imo.
I agree. I don't need pointless mini games that I'll try once and never go back to. I mean I don't have anything against them being there, but for me it doesn't add anything. Kind of like multiplayer in Dead Space 2.

I like there being different things to do. Just arcade mode gets boring.

I'd rather play a different game than a crappy mini game.

How did I miss this? You do realize you can press square + X to throw, right? You only need six to do everything, think about the TE edition of the MK stick.

Shut your dirty mouth.

The multi in DS2 is excellent and if fucking retards would actually work as a team when on the human side, I'd probably play it all the time. It's L4D but better and it's ruined, much like L4D tended to be, by the fact that the community wasn't as large as CoD or other FPS/TPS games and that people never want to actually work coop (unless you get a group of friends to put in a party...). I didn't think they needed to waste time on it, but it's well done. And the single player (as far as I am) has been excellent.

As for fighting games having extra modes? If they're fun, great. I loved Tekken Tag Bowling and Tekken Force mode in Tekken 3. Devil Within from Tekken 5 was kinda bad though.

The time to complain about MK9's challenge tower will be if they're netcode is garbage and their online modes lacked spectating.

So what layout are you using? It's a bit fucked up because I expected it to be:

HP BLK HK
LP BLK LK

This didn't seem to work too well, as whatever button was the modifier for using special ended up being the KKK button from SSF4.

I ended up with something like:

FP BLK FK SWS
BP THW BK OTHER

What commands translate into other commands so you only need six?

I just kept the default layout for my TE. As for other commands, I'd have to go back and try them out again. I'm too fucking lazy to do that right now.

I actually haven't played the multi in DS2 even once. I just meant that for me, it neither added nor subtracted from my interest in the game. The single player alone was worth full price to me.
