I just verified that this is available in-store. For those with one nearby (or 3 within 15minutes for me), it may be a better choice.

honestly you must be super unlucky, i, and many many many others from CAG have been ordering from these guys for over a year now and never a hiccup. i mustve went through 20+ blurays from them already.

I put together an order, got to the last page, and it told me one item was out of stock. It appeared that I was going to be charged for the item so I click shopping cart to start over, and now the damn website won't show my shopping cart.

Screw this crap. Not worth stressing over. Pisses me off that some ppl had to go hog wild and ruin it for everyone.
 
Postulio you are correct. I would say a few came slightly worn but most blurays (and games) were good quality. I tried to get on the website after I order 4 bluray's movies for $27 is a good price. I was considering getting a few more but then the website went down. The $5 dollar coupon worked so basically I did not have to pay shipping (actually $1). Overall good deal.

same thing happened to me w/ hangover. went OOS right as i was checking out /sad

i dont mind keep trying. the prices are awesome, and theres lots of movies ive been waiting on. id say about 1-3 times a year you get a really nice sale like this. (like that wbshop coupon combination deal, and even amazon's BF sales).

pretty damn good considering a lot of these are $20 new regularly, and dont seem to drop.
plus, no tax for me (amazon charges me tax) and overall i paid like $5 shipping in total after all those -$5 discounts.

i probably had another 2 or so orders worth of Blurays i wanted that went OOS on me as i was in the process of checking out.

notice the time difference between order 3 and 4 and between 4 and 5. that was cause it went to SD and site kept crashing and stuff going OOS.

overall, if i get these and they are in average/good condition, id say its better than amazon's BF sales. and just as good if not better (due to selection) than the wbshop.com's deal about some time ago where all coupons stacked and we got like 5$ blurays.

This site has had some great deals over the last couple of months (I have no experience with them before that) and there has been no issues. I think they are just getting hammered today from the SDers and CAGs who apparently are bombarding their site.
 
I was wondering I could not get to the confirmation page on my second order at 1:25pm (EST) (based on SD and CAGers on the website) but I did receive an email with a order number and the my movies. Should I call Monday to see if everything went okay. I think between my two order for movies I spent about $47 dollars for 7 movies so I guess about $7 per movie. I do not think that is a bad deal although I did not use the $5 discount to balance my second order.

EDIT: Postulio is correct. It was working at 8-9am for me and then I tried to visit about 10 am and it has been bad since then. Shaq Fu that person leaked it to SD.

I just called Hastings, and she confirmed the difference between used and pre-viewed. Stating the PV was indeed a rental, but both are supposed to come with original casing, and be in good working order.

She said they also come with a 30 days money back guarntee
 
I tried to pick up a few movies, but the process was so slow that one of the movies was out of the stock by the time I got to check-out. Ahh well.

Click on the 40% off all blu-rays banner and skip the first 20 pages. The site is running fairly well at this point but everything is OOS. Still finding some decent stuff though, Mall Cop is $3.99, just added to cart a minute ago.

Everything I click on says "System Error" now, so I am not sure that the site is really running fairly well at this point.
 
I placed my orders around 5:30-6AM This morning and when I was placing my order everything was instock... I just checked my order history and now it's showing that half of them are OOS. I thought they process the orders that was placed earlier first...
 
just went to grab another order and the $5 discount isn't showing for me....not sure if its just becuase the sites jacked every now and then or that they yanked it.

been shopping w/ them for a while and i can confirm this. i have to say though, that i have ordered 'used' blurays and have gotten PV before AND vice versa, it seems they send you whichever is in stock. the only way you know it was PV is there is a small circular sticker around the inner circumference of the disk. you can remove it without problems since its not on the data portion of the disk, i leave mine on since i dont care and its a hassle.

Ditto, 3 out of the 4 I ordered are listed as out of stock. If they cancel the other 3 because they don't have them anymore I'm going to be pissed. Once and order goes through you need to fulfill the damn order.
 
A bunk website for a bunk company.b I frequent a few Hasting's B&M stores, and they are some of the worst-run stores I've ever step foot in, and their website seems to follow right in tow; and I'm not just speaking from today's experience. Their website frequently loads incorrectly, looks like crap, and has frequent spelling errors. I've been trying for about 5 days now to do some trade-ins to get a GC to use for some of these online sales. EVERYTIME I go in a B&M store they tell me they can't accept anymore trades. I went at 5:30pm yesterday: too late. 12:30 today: too early! After (trying) to access their website this morning and afternoon, I have just reminded myself that, based on this company's track record, I would probably never get my orders shipped anyway!

wow man, thats a pretty sandy vagina. it seems gohastings is 98% awesome, but those 2% have some quite bad experiences... =[

I can't really say much about their B&M stores, as I've only been in one of them a few times (trading in strategy guides :)), but the site is working fine for me, except at checkout which is real slow. I think I was just able to get Drag Me to Hell for $7.55 which I'm surprised is still left.
 
their system is so bogged down, when i try to see the orders in my account, 90% of the time i get
"We temporarily cannot retreive your order history. Please try again later."

the times it loads, it says 'in progress'. hope they go through.
 
Would of got more, but need to quit spending money after the Steam Holiday Sale. Luckly Hastings always has these kind of sales. I had 80 bucks in cart worth of blurays, but only ended up getting Funny People. I been wanting to get that one since it came out.
