Damn, forgot to check the "give to charity" box when I bought it... Guess I'll just buy another bundle.

I think it's really stupid that you have to check that box to give to charity on Groupees. :\ Know how often people just forget to click the box?

It clearly says under the Greenlight games "Receive a STEAM key if the game is GreenLit", so I'd imagine it's the same for all purchases on that site.

Yeah, but notice how it doesn't say that under Fleet Buster, which could mean it varies from dev to dev. It also says it nowhere on the Data Hacker page. I sent them a support ticket about it, just to be sure.

The game he's referring to is Iron Storm which we have to email Meridian4 about for Steam keys if we bought the Mysterious Bundle from Indie Gala.

I notice Daily Indie Game moves quite the volume. 369 copies of that bundle, extended a day "by popular demand" and 36 copies of Data Hacker: Corruption at ~ $1.

Except that it wasn't on Greenlight. It's a Meridian 4 published game and they already long since have had games on Steam. Valve just wasn't letting them dump sell all their Big Fish games at the time and there really was no indication they would ever be doing so.

Hey Spoder what exactly did you use for proof of purchase if you don't mind me asking? IG does not seem to specify what you bought in their emails and my Paypal receipt just has an IG transaction number.

Edite: Never mind. I see you posted this information in the IG thread:

"I took a screenshot of my IG profile page and my paypal receipt."

I sent mine at 2:27 p.m. EST yesterday. Here's what I wrote:

I put the subject as "Iron Storm Steam Key", and sent it to [email protected].

Make sure to include a screenshot of your IndieGala bundle library with Mysterious pictured AS WELL AS making sure your email is clearly visible at the top right of the IndieGala page (as it should be when you're logged into your account). Then include a screenshot of your PayPal receipt (click on the specific transaction in your PayPal history). Lastly, make sure the email you are emailing them from is the same email as the one attached to the IndieGala account, and that should be more than enough proof of purchase. These are the pictures I sent (without the privacy edit, obviously).

I think I have to send it again I didn't include a screenshot of my Indiegala page....ugg why can't they just use the freakin' receipt with the obvious bundle name on it.....

That's the whole point. You think Groupees wants to give those 10-15¢ per bundle to charity, or pocket it? This way they can pocket a substantial portion of it and still look good.

Also, thanks for reminding me those checkboxes exist. I'd been forgetting completely about them recently.

Jonny knows the weeaboo crowds will drive sales figures through the roof for that bundle. He's giving the other regions a chance by delaying the Asian bundle till people have forgotten about the whole "Clash" idea.

I mean, it's not like he'd be driven by the profit he'd get from running the bundle ASAP, or else we'd have no explanation for the shit Poopees has been pawning off on us.

EDIT:
I just realized I'm espousing two opposing theories concerning Groupees's money-grubbingness in the same post.

I still stand by both my opinions. :p

Mr. Cap knows that the longer he delays the Asian bundle the more he'll make with the other OK Clash bundles. Also the charity thing....I had no idea it was actually there which means I didn't donate to charity (I'm more of make sure I spend the right amount on a bundle and usually don't know where the money goes (I hope a good amount goes to the developers).

I recommend you download those albums ASAP. You don't know when Groupees servers will "collapse" and they will "loose" everything. And as we all know, those files only exists there and we're created only for them ONCE. It is impossible for them to grab those files elsewhere and hang them again on the same spot. Alien tech.
