If you want to see the demonic horse it is in the video on the game's store page on steam.
Thanks. That was pretty tame actually, just a black horse with some flames. May still buy it for comedic reasons after a night of drinking. .75 cents isn't much.

Also, on my comp now and Desura links still aren't working. Since it is a wiki, I'll go ahead and try to change it.

Edit: nevermind. The links have cheapassgamer.com in front of them. I guess so they get credit if someone buys something from clicking the link? Dont really get how I would go about fixing the links now.

I fixed the links, for some odd reason you had to include http:// in the links in order for the links to go through properly. If not, it added the CAG forums link. That was a first. Anyway all links should be properly working now.

On war in a box and 99 level of hell, if they get greenlight-ed will groupees give out steam keys or is it only what you get at the time you buy it? Thanks for any info in advance

Groupees has confirmed with the developers that you'll be given Steam versions of the games too if they make it on Greenlight.

Awesome, i thought i heard that in one of the steam thread's, Thanks buddy!

I bought detour and omegalodon already. Still want that horse game for whatever reason, was going to pair it with war in a box but I just realized there was an iPad version, so I tried it and it sucked. So basically, what other game would you guys reccomend from the bundle? I'd be up for any of them except kaptain brawe and creavures. So basically apox, chrome + spec force or 99 levels to hell?

Tl/dr- apox, chrome+spec force, or 99 levels to hell?

From what I've heard, Chrome/Spec Force isn't bad, but 99 levels to hell is probably one of the best games in the bundle. Whatever you do, don't get Apox, I've heard it's terrible.

+1 here. Listen to this man.
Anyone know, if I pickup this bundle now (2 games) , will I end up getting Avencast as well?
You should, I wouldn't see why you wouldn't. I'd say yes, with 90% certainty.
Anyone know, if I pickup this bundle now (2 games) , will I end up getting Avencast as well?
You should, I got two games after the goal had been met and I received a code for it.

As far as the apox, c/sp, or 99lth, I suppose I will listen to you guys. That is basically what I have gotten from reading reviews on all of the games. Did you guys enjoy tiny plumbers though? I played it for a little bit and just couldn't get used to the controls so I didn't enjoy it. So I do need better platformers. Apox looked fun till I saw totalbiscuit's review, and I really don't need any more shooters. So I guess 99 levels to hell it is.

Gee, I'm sorry to hear that. I already bought a couple of games earlier on, but I was looking to buy 99 Levels to Hell and I need another game to buy with it (already bought Detour & Chrome). I was strongly leaning towards War in a Box.

Has anybody else played it? Any other thoughts?

I am a big TD fan, I realize just saying "it sucked" sounds a bit harsh but I did not think anyone else would really consider it based on the negative reviews on youtube and such. To be completely fair I only played the first level, but of the three towers there are in the game, they only let me build one in the first level. It was a gun that shot little slow moving balls. The game may get better as it progresses, but if I was ever going to play a TD game like that on the PC I would want it to be fieldrunners as that takes some strategy right off the bat.

Also, I just played meat boy from the basement collection for a good hour and it was quite fun. I'm not big into platformers, but now that I know they can be enjoyable, I am definitely buying 99 levels to hell. Still skeptical about SotMC, but I have been so curious about it, it'll be worth playing for 15 minutes if thats all it takes.

Also also, the winter wolves bundle has reached 1000+ sales. We all get spirited heart now. http://groupees.com/ww

Woo-hoo! I looked at a couple of trailers with my 11 year old daughter and she thought the
dialogue was hilarious, so I might get this (not sure if any of them are "inappropriate" for
her age though).

I've never played this kind of "game" before - is it worth the $5 to get the two extra games?

I'm not sure about Spirited Heart (it looks pretty mellow to me), but the other visual novel games in this bundle said "contains mature content" when I looked at them somewhere. Probably just the subject matter of the stories.

I don't know about all the games but... I do know... I mean have heard that Loren the Amazon Princess has sex scenes of both a heterosexual and lesbian variety so it is worth at least eying the warning labels. I don't think there is gratuitous sex all over the place especially on the kids games but, you know, the developer does do sex sometimes... so I have heard.

Yes!!!!! I knew my procrastinating would pay off.

OK, I didn't really know that. But I'm glad to see it did anyway. :)

Is Planet Stronghold more of a traditional RPG? I'm on the fence as well...
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
X-Blades
Kings Bounty: The Legend
Neo Scavenger
Tropico 3
How did they go from that one with Zero Gear, to this? Wow.

Wow, that's an extremely good bundle. KB Legend, I saw that coming, but Strangers Wrath and Tropico 3? Hell, I'm even excited to grab X-Blades in a bundle! Crappy game or not, it's worth a few bucks.

Can't imagine what the BTA game will be. Jonny has said that this was going to be a REALLY good bundle, and it looks like he wasn't blowing smoke this time.

Looks like I will be skipping BM5 since I own all of those already.

The only reason that would get me to purchase it is if the bonus game(s) are some that I do not already own.

Only one I have from Be Mine 5 is Stranger's Wrath, which I'll probably give away to some random CAG that won't be buying the bundle. I'm very interested in X-Blades, I liked Blades of Time so I figure I'll probably like X-Blades.

It's disappointing to me that King's Bounty The Legend is included in it.. I'll most likely be getting Amazon's 1C Pack which will have that in it..

Really unimpressed with Winter Wolves. Spirited Heart, the bonus game added as an incentive for people to buy more, is not the full version (even though it is called the "Deluxe Edition" when you install it). Half of the relationships are locked, and blocked by a prompt that says "Click here to buy the full verstion!"

How much is the "full version"? It's an "expansion" (no, expansions add to the game, they don't just unlock base game features), and it's $15 on "sale" right now.

Pretty lame move on Winter Wolves' part. It's a charity benefit, and they're still too money-hungry to give out full versions of their games. Bravo, guys.

That reminds me of the screensaver they added as a "bonus" in their first bundle lol. It was a "limited edition" that was actually restricted, more like a demo.

No. It is an expansion. I spent some time reading up on the bundle before buying. (Which is why I did the minimum. I may very well never play these.)

The "Girl's Love" expansion came out a couple of years after the base game. It's basically the lesbian relationship expansion. And the bundle page made it clear what was included was just the base game. Oddly enough, you can buy either the base game or Girl's Love on its own.

It is kinda disappointing to see the game showing the prompts for the other portion. That's annoying, to say the least.

It's an "expansion" by a very twisted understanding of the term. An expansion is something that comes adds additional content to the base game; not something that unlocks features shown in the base game. That's a very big difference.

Also, the bundle page does not make it known what you're getting.

Product Description

Spirited Heart is a fantasy life simulation game.
Create your fantasy alter ego choosing between an apparently normal human, a cute elf and a wicked demoness. Once the game start you’ll be able to run your life in a virtual fantasy world: choose a job from the 20 different ones available.
From time to time, random events will occur and you’ll also make random encounters: there are six potential partner for your character in the game, two for each one of the three races. Each partner will have his own personality and will react differently depending on which race you’re playing, offering over 100 different dialogue combinations!
Play with your character for 10 in-game years in which you have to do your best! The full game has 20 normal endings plus 12 special marriage endings, providing hours of gameplay and lots of replayability.
Notice the underlined bit. Why would anyone think that they wouldn't be getting the full game? Not to mention the installer exe for it is named "SpiritedHeartFull", and the game installs as "Spirited Heart Deluxe".

That is a very tricky and deceitful way of wording things and attempting to squeeze more money out of your customers. I complain not because I'm set on lesbian relationships, but because the game is very limited when you're forced to do only certain jobs to match up with your correct relationship partners. A lot of the time, those jobs don't even match your character build (stats, etc), so you have to go out of your way to build a stat you're not working on to find random encounters with the correct partners.

I went through quite a bit of the game (one completion so far), and in one case I was purposely trying to find encounters with a male relationship choice (on the farming job). What happened? I almost always could only find random encounters with the female character on the farming job. I can look at my relationship sheet and see that I've unintentionally built up 1.5/5 hearts with her (relationship meter), yet it's a complete waste because that bit of the game is locked. That is not how an expansion works. It feels like half of the game is locked, all the while teasing you with 75% functionality of that part of the game.

It's a silly game, and I'm getting tired of it after 30 minutes or so anyways, but it's worth seeing how Winter Wolves conducts their business.

EDIT: Also, on my other playthrough, my character build made the "dancer" job a good fit. That was the job I primarily worked on, and the only character you get to know on that job? A female, so I built relationship hearts with her by working that job uselessly as well. I worked up to a higher tiered job, yet there was no relationship partner on that job (it seems there are NO random encounters on higher tiered jobs), so I was stuck with a character I couldn't pursue a relationship with and ended up finishing the playthrough via other means.

You can see how the entire setup is a blaring play for your money to unlock the full game. Not to mention they're probably just riding on the hopes that fapping teenage boys will use their parents' credit card to buy "lesbian mode".

The base game, the one that was in the bundle, came out in 2009. The expansion came out in 2011. I'm not sure what has changed with patches and what-not, but it's quite likely the game was always like that.

I'm not saying that's a good thing. I'm saying the game we got in the bundle is the game they sell normally and the game they have been selling normally for three years.

I understand, I'm just explaining things in detail. It's also false advertising to explain what is included in the "full version" and then give everyone a setup file that says "full" in the file name when it's not actually the full version.

EDIT: Not to mention the information tab said nothing about an expansion or separate version of the game. It only says what is included in the "full version". As opposed to what? The limited version? Common sense would tell anyone buying the bundle that they were getting the "full version", the entire game. Not one half of the entire game (regardless of what was released and when).

Extremely vague information for a reason. I'd just laugh and write it off, but it was a charity to preserve rainforests/forestry. I mean, really Winter Wolves?

Since I'm mainly interested in X-Blades from Be Mine 5, I did a little digging and did a comparison with the X-Blades trailer. It has the same exact scenes that are found in the Be Mine 5 teaser video, so it's 100% confirmed to be in it. I think the guesses that I posted made by other users are correct.

Scenes from teaser are 0:22 and 1:07 from X-Blades trailer.
