Micro = $16
SP = $20

So I got $36 and $40. I probably could have got more on eBay but I was feeling too lazy to list, deal with non-paying bidders, shipping, etc.

My EB Games and Gamestop in Delaware are all taking the GBA SP, as long as you include a charger with it.
Unfortunately, they would not take my brother's because it didn't have the flippin' serial number sticker on it. I was heated!!!
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but if you have the EDGE card and are eligible for the 10% extra credit, it does work when you trade in games during this period. So if you trade in 5 games, you will receive 30% + 10% = 40% extra credit per trade in.
 
My local GS said the sale was extended as long as they still had merchandise to sell.

They still had tons of games, so it'll go on for quite a while. I went to buy more used games but the manager told me that their buy 2 get 1 free deal ended yesterday. :(
 
I'm kicking myself for not picking up a copy of Metropolis for my PSP when I had the chance.

One of my favorite films, and having it on the go would have been awesome.
 
I just got sent an email from EB/GS with a voucher for "$10 off any USED Xbox 360 game priced $24.99 or above", anyone think it's worth scanning and posting as a new thread.

Or I could post it here, or not bother.

There was, it was a B2G1 on everything used and it ended on the 10th.
 
Found the Nyco guitar with a scratched out price and a hand written $29.99 on it. Instantly yoinked and went to pay...only to find out it was actually $39.99 and they wouldn't honor their own mistake.

Didn't buy it. Ended up finding a used official guitar at another GameStop for $17.99 with the Edge card. :D
 
on the game days sale webpage it says 'Offers end July 8th, 2007 or while supplies last' so i think we are stuck with gamedays till we buy all those crappy resealed games
 
hah yea, just saw that now. looks like its extended until the 8th of July.

probably pick up that sonic rush i thought id miss out on...
 
baller choice, sonic rush is so good. i got that game when it first came out and i still throw down when i have a few minutes on the bus

Trade in two Wii games get a new Wii game free, same goes for PS3.

The other new promotion going on is trade 3 Xbox 360 games and get an extra $20 trade-in credit.

Both offers exclude 2007 and older sports games, the BK games, and the usual cheap games that get excluded.

picked up sonic rush and the wii fan stand.

pondering if i should get that psp theater experience now. haha.

Not all are crappy or resealed. In fact, I've seen more factory sealed Castlevania games for PS2 and Xbox than I have resealed copies. And even then, just ask them to give you newer copies that they usually have sitting around. Some games are stinkers, but a few are actual goodies that most people won't care to acknowledge.

Also, in case no one's aware, GameStop's on to the ideas some people might have had about waiting for this promo to end to trade in the games for a higher value. They dropped the prices of some of the used versions, like Castlevania Double Pack.

does the wii stand really say gamestop on the front
 


opened mine up, yea its there, but its not all the noticeable and can become ignorable later on.

the fan really does seem to help cool it down, and the flaps on the side help make it much more stable from tippin over. the light is a nice touch as well, tho you cant have the fan on without the light on. but yea, turnin out to be not that bad of a purchase after all.
 
In all honesty, there's really no need for a fan for the Wii at all as the thing hardly ever overheats. At best, getting that fan would simply just be for the fancy light display.

yea, its painted on. tho it looks like it can be removed usin some paint thinner.

perhaps ill turn it into a project for the week...
 
when spoony 1st posted the gamedays sale this was high up on my list but when i saw the mark of the beast i boycotted in protest. ill probly just look for a cool sticker to put over it

Nail polish remover sometimes does the trick...
 
Looks like it as it's coming AFTER accessories on the list. And it's the only Wii title there, too. No wonder it's not among the Trade 2, Get 1 for Wii titles.
 
Finally managed to grab a copy of Diablo 2 at my closest EB, everywhere else hadnt marked it down or was too far away.

Then went across the highway(there is 3 GS/EB stores within less than a mile of each other, classic)to the GS in the mall and got the expansion.

I wish I could find WC3 cheap so I could pick up Frozen Throne, the GS in the mall and outside of the mall both have it

so the whole point of gamedays was to sell off crap new games no one was buying so they would trade it in so gs could jack up the prices. i.e. new popolo = 9.99 and used is 17.99

if gs is doing it, it must be moral and legal

Hmm...oddly enough I have been seeing more used Phoenix Wright games at GS lately being sold for $26.99, for example. I guess GS is banking on what you said monkeydeew...people buy a cheap game to take the chance, they don't like, trade it for store-credit.

Most of the good stuff I've seen are mostly gone (Castlevania double pack anyone?).
