Hmmm I may have to pick up Final Fantasy XII CE for the PS2. My sister may want to play that so I'll see if she'll go 1/2 with me.

Otherwise, I want AOE and the Castlevania Double Pack since I think I'm going to buy a DS for my two trips this summer. Castlevania is a GBA game so it should be backwards compatible and playable on the DS, right?

And I already have a quick charge kit for my 360, but may pick up a play and charge kit if it's 50% off. Sometimes I leave the charged battery in the quick charge kit instead of putting it back into my controller, but I don't worry since I know it will be there for a quick replacement whenever my other battery dies. The other day I loaded the charged battery into my controller and it died a little bit later causing my to panic since I had no other batteries and was in the middle of a long, intense game of Catan, lol. Luckily, I unplugged and reloaded it and it was fine. Maybe it just wasn't loaded correctly for some reason. Anyways, now I'm paranoid and want a plug and play kit.
 
$30 for the FFX: CE is an awesome deal, hell I'm tempted and I already own it! I'm playing it currently, it's a great game.

Otherwise, not really anything of significance IMO, though there are some great titles listed, I already own the ones I'd want.
 
so this is confirmed for new items only? if so... there is no way they are going to get more of Dynasty Warriors 5 in I havn't seen that game new around for a while...

Yes, only new items; but stores are getting a restock.
 
ahh I'd be suprised if they do restock on DW 5 as I know stores rarely get new restocks on old KOEI games
 
If I can find a store with the castlevania 2-pack it'll be mine.

EDIT: Well I hope there's a restock since apparently there isn't one at any GS near me....
 
I'm glad I waited on the FFXII CE. I had it preordered along with the CE guide, but canceled at the last moment. I almost bit on the regular edition when it was on sale at Amazon ($19.99?). Now it will be mine.

That is, unless I decide to tempt fate and wait for it to go 50% off.

But I still want that guide...

Hmm FF XII CE 25% off, I might bite on this if somehow my EB had this, lol because the battle system is kinda like WoW except with damn menus, lol. (I do like FF games except for X, but I never bought this one for some reason).

Pheonix Wright for $20, hmm another tempting one.

Also does this apply to used games?

From everything that I saw at EB, the 360 Charge Kit listed is not the Quick Charge kit. That I know for sure (802270 or something). I don't believe it's the Play n Charge, either, but I may be wrong. I would look for a Nyko kit if I had my druthers.
 
Hmmm...I'm wondering if the PS2 Wireless guitar is the official one from Red Octane. If so, then i'll totally bite. I wonder if my employee discount would work along with this sale-- the cheap bastards don't give you any discount whenever they have a buy 2 get 1 free.

I don't know how big this one is seeing the selection isn't so big and most of the games are between $10-15.. Really depends on how cheap people can get lol

But who knows - I've seen some nasty hoarding on those BB sales - I suppose it doesn't really matter - now that I took a better look at the selection - there isn't that much of a selection.

Either way, still would like a Double pack.. or pro duo cheap.
 
speaking of BB, yeah I too was empty handed from the last clearance, CC seems to have more in stock games when it comes to clearanced ones.

Yeah that double pack Castlevania is the deal if they have them in stock..

As far as the BB sale goes I still managed to find things and mainly later weeks after the sale, but I did find:

Feel the Magic
Drill Dozer
Mario & luigi: Superstar Saga
Sigma star saga
CastleVania: DOS

So It wasnt to bad....
Anyone know if the game Castlevania: COD on that list for PS2 is any good??

Anyhow, I hear that castlevania series didn't do to well on the PS2 if compared to the handhelds - however, I'd probably recommend Lament of Innocence.

However, what's good and not ultimately depends to you I suppose.

Well I played and completed the first PS2 Castlevania just kinda forgot about that last one..

That 2 in 1 pack Castlevania for GBA has the first game of the series that continued on the DS with Castlevania: DOS right?

Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow, the prequel to Dawn of Sorrow. It doesn't include the other GBA Castlevania, Circle of the Moon.

Did anyone confirm if used games work for the deal? I really want FF XII CE but if they don't have it new, I might be out of luck. Any news if the non CE edition of FF XII is also avaiable for the deal or is it just the CE? I could care less what version of FF XII I get, a CE means nothing to me.
