Number 6 is Thexder. Viva La Apple II GS!
Some trivia: the folks who made Thexder went on to make the original Silpheed.
Correct! Thexder was ported to a whole heap of platforms, including the Amiga, where I first played it, and the NES, where Squaresoft handled the port.
Well, I'm back again... Here's one to get me started...

Disney Adventure in Magic Kingdom
I rented that game and that was the only ride I couldn't beat (I want to say it is Space Mountain). This was probably 15 years ago.

I think the lack of HD made me a little bitter when I could at least use a 5.25 or 3.5 floppy on the 386. And, of course, we all had those 3.5 floppy disks that had about 20-40 different games on them. Just a matter of dir/w-ing them. Unless that was just me? My I was bored at OSU when my mom was doing grad work
This weekend, I'll scour my brain for some game shots.

Right on all accounts. The kart game was kind of crappy and had a pretty generic name. I just remember playing the shareware disc an awful lot.
Microsoft released a version of Terminal Velocity called Fury3. There apparently was a sequel to it as well, but I never played it.
I believe this is castelian, but I've never seen it in color before (it existed on the game boy back in the day...)
I never knew there was a Gameboy or NES version called Castelian. I'd only heard of Tower Toppler and Nebulus.
So to recap:
1. Raptor: Call of the Shadows
2. ???
3. ???
4. ???
5. Side Arms
6. Thexder
7. Tower Toppler / Nebulus / Castelian
8. Miner 2049er
9. ???
10. ???
11. Oregon Trail
12. ???
13. Death Rally
14. Terminal Velocity / Fury3
15. Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold
16. Rise of the Triad
17. ???
18. World Games
19. Warsong
20. ???

I agree with Kaw, those kind of look like Raiden, especially #2 as Raiden II... I think I was just playing this at the local movie theatre. Had to kill time somehow...
Just cause I remembered not having it for gameboy and thought another Nintendo version existed, I found these (Castelian):

The first three look similar, but they were made by different developers. None of them are in the Raiden series. #2 is the most recent of the three.
17. Math Blaster
And a gold star for you!
#8 and #9 have clues in the screens that I didn't notice until now.

I know I've played this, but I can't place it. It feels like Raiders of the Lost Ark for Atari 2600, but I posted that last week and the little pixel dude looks different.
