Guess the Game from the Screenshot
Very impressive. Both the puzzle and the solution. :applause:
Right on. Keep up the good work fellas. :applause:

Edit:

I think #2 is Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors 2.

My turn.
My brother and I played this game non-stop back in the days. Best $10 I have ever spent in my life. I know it looks like many games but hopefully someone will know it.

anyone?
Have you kids ever even played Mutant League? It looks nothing like that.
Nooooooo. Oh well, I've never played it, just saw a strange football game and figured it was worth a shot (used to watch the cartoon though)
Castlevania II or III, I can't quite remember which. Leaning towards II.
No, it was Ironsword (Wizards and Warriors II) and sleepinglionheart already got it.

But no one has gotten the other one I posted yet.

What the...

I remember playing that very screenshot as a child at a friend's house, but I don't recall him ever having that game. Wow.
Have you kids ever even played Mutant League? It looks nothing like that.
I remember the Hockey version... thought there was a football version too. Checked the screenshot. Definitely not Mutant League.

Only football games I remember from that era are Joe Montana Football II and the madden series...

Looks a little like NFL Quarterback Club or Bill Walsh College Football... but again, probably not.

Let me sum up by saying, I have no effin clue. :)

Man, forget I said a thing. I'm still reeling from the fact that I not only had no clue what I was talking about regarding the Ironsword screenshot, but also failed to notice that you had already answered it correctly before I even attempted an answer.
you got it (well you did practically name every football game on the snes.) Its bill walse college football.
Hahaha. I do what I can. You should see the number of screenshots for SNES/Genesis football games I had to look through to even warrant those guesses. :D
Blood - PC

That game is awesome.
I'm going to quit my job so I can camp the screenshot thread all day.

Blood is still my favorite PC game.

Jack nailed Incredible Crisis. Hilarious game.

oh man, I should know this, I used to play it. I wanna say it was on Dreamcast/arcade, but I could be mistaken

*edit
Got it, Propeller Arena
2.
#2 looks like a Duke Nukem game. Especially with the Blue Floppy...but, there isn't the large border around the game.

I took a guess that the second could be an Apogee game, but none of my searches seemed to confirm that...

The first one I know I've seen before but I'm at a loss to find out more about it.
2.
Ok, This is secret agent. Looks like it was a Duke Nukem game because it was made by the same guys.
Two more, just to keep this thread going!
This thread will never die! (until people get bored with it one day and stop posting)

Waiting to see if anyone recognizes this one:

3. Golgo 13? Looks kinda like it, but I've never played it so I can't be sure. :whistle2:&
4. Paperboy!!

Strell you added BlueWing's prize to your sig! Now we can all share in the glory. You're so selfless!!

Edit: Wait screw that, I want one for myself dammit!!
Cmon, anyone?
Don't worry, woobacca! I've got at least 4 more contests brewing as we speak. I'm planning to try and post them at different times of the day, so if you're not a late nighter, you'll still have a chance. Oh, and previous winners are discouraged from publicly answering future contests (Though PM's are ok). I'd like to see as many people get a chance to win as possible. That being said, it's back to the single shots for now. Let's try something a little tougher.... maybe.

Sweet Home

I have the rom for this and I started it, but I need to know if you can pick up items/weapons found in the game or not. Once I found out about this game I thought it was a travesty I hadn't heard about it earlier.

No guesses on this one? I can post another shot this afternoon if nobody gets this. Here's a hint: it's for N64.

Space Invaders. I thought I knew it from somewhere but I didn't know where to start.

Indeed. Maybe my hint was too good :)

Anyhow, this game is surprisingly fun for two players. Pretty easy, but not a total cakewalk.
Actually a few in there I knew. You damn late nighters!

Donkey Kong GB version. I recognized the items from when I used to play this on Colecovision, then FINALLY found Mario in the bottom left.

Either donkey kong or super donkey kong I forgot which name it is but its definitly an updated version of donkey kong for the gameboy. I loved that game every vacation I used to take my gameboy and this game was always in it.

::edit:: damnit strell right at the same time you posted

Looks like the remake of Donkey Kong for the Gameboy

The "spinning top" game must be an SNES game because it has L/R buttons listed. Additionally the wizard/eyes game looks like Apple IIE graphics. I scanned some titles but that's as far as I can get right now.

It looks more like a GBA game. I was going to guess a beyblade game (since it's the only game that seem to capitalize on the beigoma thing, but it doesn't look like any of them).

Winners are yall!

Strell, Mex25, and s1eepinglionhart got Donkey Kong for Gameboy.

Played the hell out of that game. I have Donkey Kong for Colecovision also. Wish the sucker still worked.
