On the Marketplace blade, go to the ad in the upper right corner of the screen. Should be something like a BB ad. Click there to get into it, and it'll have the free stuff in there.

When I downloaded the Free Halo 3 gamer pics and theme it was listed under Best Buy and not Halo 3.
 
Just to clarify, there are two different sets of freebie Halo 3 gamerpics/themes. The Best Buy ones and the 33 days of Halo ones. Not sure about the BB one since I don't get that content up here, but you can only get to the 33 days of Halo content through an ad.

33 days of Halo is specific to Canada as part of a promotion. Americans won't get it.

So I beat Level 1 on Legendary by myself. I thought I’d be able to grind out the entire campaign on Legendary by myself like I did with Gears of War (insane) but it just aint happening. If anyone is looking to put together a co-op team I’m up for it. I’ll be playing multiplayer all day so just message me. I’m cool with repeating Level 1 on legendary if you need to get it.

So could someone explain this free Live access thing? Do I need a code or just when I sign onto Live I get autoupgraded until the 27th?

Yea the 33 days isn't for US. For US its the Best Buy set and Unite to Fight set.

That link is no good, but I see it in your Service Record here. Screenshots weren't uploading for me, it looks like a lot of people have had that problem.
 
I think it works like the Forza 2 website, in that only you can see pics in your bungie account. You can't link the pics to anyplace else. You have to save them to your computer, then put them up on another website (imageshack, myspace, etc) so others can see them.

Unfortunetly viewing the game only states the amount of screenshots taken and you cannot view them through that it seems.

That's bizarre. Especially since it shows you got Apprentice Rank 2 which requires 3 XP.

Anyone else pissed about the Strategy guide not showing the Skull locations? I picked it up last night basically so I can cheat my way through the skull locations and I was pissed to find out that there not there. Guess I'll have to memorize the locations by watching the youtube vids.

Might have been already answered, but did they take the Scorpion out? I'm not too far in the campaign I don't think, but I have yet to see it.
 
I'm starting to notice that there's quite a few achievements that aren't being triggered and atleast now I know I'm not the only one.

I met the requirements for these:

Killed 5 enemies with the needler in a ranked free for all playlist or in campaign.

48.gif

Headshot Honcho

Killed 10 enemies with headshots in a ranked free for all playlist or in campaign.

31.gif

Graduate

Graduated from basic training. Stick with it to earn your Spartan Insignia.

I got the pink mist one in the campaign when I killed 5 enemies in a row with the needler. Without switching out to another weapon.

Online mulitplayer, earning 5exp and/or completing 10 online games.

Just finished the campaign, and I'm really confused:

How did Master Chief die if the Arbiter was able to get back all in one piece? Everything was going fine, and then BOOM, a split second later we're at his memorial. It's buggin' the shit outta me.

Also, I've completed all of the missions, but the achievements for the 2nd and 7th level haven't registered. Damn.

Just got finished the first level on Heroic. I thought it was damned hard. I was put in alot of situations where I had a weapon that was just useless at the time. The brutes were insane.
 
I kept getting smacked retarded by that Brute with the Grav Hammer in Act 1. Finally budged and restarted on Normal. I really have to get used to the controls and FoV.
