I'm still working to get a decent Team Objective set of a friends that play fairly often.

I guess ideally I would always want to be the worst player on my team, right?
Then I would get the least experience, though.

Hmmm tough.

Anyone wanna help me get the following achievements:
double kill w/ laser
banshee with missile pod/laser
overkill (4 enemies in 4 seconds)
destroy an enemy vehicle with equipment
kill 10 enemies without dying
triple kill w/ sword
10 headshots
destroy vehicle with three enemies

I heard it was easy if you just change your language to some random one and have it set to only play players in your language.

I didn't use the plasma pistol at all. You do have to switch weapons often, but you generally have to just switch between Assault Rifle / Battle Rifle / Carbine / Spiker. Then you just keep a solid backup weapon like Shotgun or whatever. It wasn't bad at all.

Definately just do whatever works for you though.
 
I just got into two games in a row with the same guys. For those wondering:

Search for Chinese games (the last option in the language thing)

Sigh. It's always just one 15 year old prick who griefs.

Man. I get up to 14 today and then suddenly the game starts putting me with a team who is balls and against a team who his great. Still fun though.

Armor Permutations and Flames

I’m making a list, I’m checking it twice, and it’s a list of dumb messages (and perfectly polite ones) inquiring about the Recon armor permutation. The short answer to those inquiries is, “No, you can’t have it.” The people you see with the Recon helmet are Bungie employees, and they did nothing in-game to unlock it. There is nothing you can do to unlock it.

Go to the last blade on ur dashboard and pick console settings. then language.

i recall someone saying you just need to delete, then recover your live account. that fixes it i guess.

What the fuck is up with the IWHBYD skull?

I must have tried getting it like 12 times and its never worked. The one time it did appear, it didn't unlock. :roll:

i have yet to attempt to get that skull, every time i feel like going for it, i turn on the box and get sucked right into multiplayer, it took me forever just to beat the game on normal cuz of that, still haven't gone for the legendary or even heroic yet.

Ring 7 = Truth.

4 6 5 4 5 3 4

Hold onto it once you get it and rush for the end of the level, you should be able to make it without having to stop easily.
 
i've done the IWHBYD skull about 4 times, jump in the rings in this order on normal,heroic or legendary, the ring order starts from the entrance, 54654534, after you jump in all the rings in the right order the rings light up from 1-7

good luck, i can guarantee this works 100%

oh yea if you didnt know once you touch the skull its yours you dont need to hold on to it, just pick it up and quit the level and theres no acheivement for it

Thing is, I've been doing it exactly like that. Sigh...

I think I'll give it one more shot tonight and then play some multiplayer.
 
even if i do get this skull, i doubt i'll bother using the hayabusa helmet, i like the rogue one better anyways, even though that one looks like frickin shredder, but still, everyone and there mom seems to use this helmet anymore.

You starting from a rally point? I did that for a while until I read you have to start from the beginning for the skulls.

i could have sworn for the one on top of the silo building i started at a rally point, but maybe it was just real close to the start of the level.

From what I have heard if you delete your account and recover it, they will be in english. I can't vouch for that since I didn't change my language for the achievements.
 
Ugh. Halo 3 on legendary is a bitch. I'm still on Sierra 117, arbiter's dead, and I've got no no ammo. I loved it up until this point, especially the 15 or so Jackal Snipers that aren't even a problem on any other difficulty. I'm at the point next to the crashed pelican.

Oh, and my 3x went all the way down to 1x, for some reason. Even though I have 2 skuls activated.
 
Skull multipliers are built into the score you get. The reason your multiplier went down is because of time. The faster you beat a level, the higher it remains.
 
for people who are having trouble with the meta points, this is the set up i use

on normal
---------------
famine skull
catch skull
fog skull
mythic skull
thuderstorm skull
and tough luck skull

if you're dying by grenades then turn off catch, since i've had grunts throw about 6 grenades at me at a time on heroic, lol
i've had no problems getting over 15000 pts
you probably dont need that many skulls on but its a sure thing

tips:
get head shots on all the grunts
for extra points use the noob combo on a brute(plasma pistol then BR to the head)
and stick everyone you can

i beat the campaign about 5 times, once myself, couple on co-op, meta points


but someone tell me why i have 1000 acheivement points but still dont have the commando right/left shoulders?
 
All i used for the Meta games was Famine, Tough Luck, Catch, and Fog. I played the single player game on normal. There was never a level where I had trouble at all getting the score. I did not go for headshots or anything. Just made sure I tok out most enemies.
 
Got some of those online achievements. Only problem was I ended up in a game where guys weren't trying to get achievements. They were just playing. And they were kinda good. And they spoke english.

So watch out for that.

Everyone should be speaking english when you choose a language thats from a region where Halo cannot be found. Also, those people are what I like to call "fags." They suck so bad at Halo, so they spend their time griefing people who want to cause no harm, and are trying to get achievements outside of where regular players are playing legit games.
 
I sent in my CE discs last Saturday and got new discs back today, took exactly a week which wasn't bad. Looking forward to getting back into multiplayer with friends and CAGs. Also got a free 1 month XBL card like others have.

I don't have them either and I also have 1000 points, I don't think anyone has them. Sounds like they might be glitched or something, I'm not sure.

Anyone know a good mission to get the used car salesman achievement? Or have you guys done that in TS?

Also, how exactly do you perform an account recovery? I got some achievements in...non-english and I'd like to see them in my own language.

the best level to get used car salesman is the 2nd level and just take the turret and shoot of the gun on the ship, if that makes sense.

Also why would you need account recovery to change the language just change it back to english.
