Halo 4 LE Xbox 360 Controller in Stock Walmart.com

Thank you. I know many people may not consider this a deal but I was actually looking for one and the cheapest I could find on eBay was $10 - $15 more then MSRP.
1st link isn't the same controller

2nd link is used.

That is like saying a game for $20 new at amazon isn't a good deal because it's been $17 at gamefly.
I didn't realize the 1st controller is different, but it is, and the second controller is still in the pack advertised as "like new" condition. Here is a new one for $55:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Halo-4-Xbox...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Im not trying to make a fuss, but there is no way in hell that these controllers are worth $80-$90

Edit: Someone on acid must have bought this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HALO-4-Edit...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Like I said back in January, that's what they were going for because I was looking for one, and everyone was sold out. Everyone is still sold out except Walmart, and I assumes they were still going for the same on eBay.

That NEW controller you posted wasnt even sold THIS YEAR it is 3 months old.
We all know time changes the price up and down.

My local bestbuy was showing for instore pick up so I snagged one there with a rewards cert...if they dont fill the order I'll do walmartsss. Thanks OP

That's tempting, but I'm trying to steer away from wireless controllers for Xbox 360. They eat up batteries like Hummers drink gas and they wear out pretty easily. Thanks for the post, though, OP. That's a great price!

Someone needs to look into Eneloop Batteries. They pay for themselves.

Buy rechargeable batteries. They last longer than the rechargeable battery packs. I don't even use my rechargeable battery packs since I've purchased some Energizer Rechargable batteries. I think it was $25? For the charger and 4 AAs.

It looks as if they're beginning to come down, though you can find new of these which sold during the past week still getting around ~$70 shipped. And there are so many sellers who don't specify NEW or USED in their listing titles... you have to really check some sellers.

$59.99 plus tax isn't going to save you a ton, but for the sake of a couple dollars, I'd almost rather pick up at walmart. Not my favorite place to shop (nothing against the store, i can't stand the other shoppers), but at least you know what you're getting. With ebay, you never know these days.

I did that for a couple years, but I'd constantly forget to charge them, which was quite aggravating.

I just got a wired controller. It's an aftermarket AirFlo controller. The buttons light up and there's a built-in fan that does a really nice job of keeping my hands cool. And it's wired, so I don't have to worry about batteries. Hell, I've been using wired controllers most of my gaming life. Why change now?

Yes. I have a mix of eneloops, energizer, and duracell rechargables, most hybrid. The hybrid rechargeables do a great job of keeping a charge even if you don't use the controllers that often. The batteries in my wii remotes have lasted 3 months just sitting there.

Saying that, the eneloops are the best of the bunch. Some folks also recommend a nice battery charger like this guy:

http://www.amazon.com/La-Crosse-Tec...1026&sr=8-2&keywords=battery+charger+lacrosse

But after seeing one of their models overcharge a battery to the point of EXPLODING ALL OVER EVERYTHING, I decided to stick with the eneloop chargers. They do me just fine, even if they kill the batteries a little quicker.

I wasn't trying to have people fighting, just know this is sold out in most places and some cags were looking for it. It's not on sale, but it might help a few people out. That and I'd rather buy from Walmart than eBay. But that's me.

sorry but for a collector's item something "like new" is worth a lot less than brand new and sealed.

Anyway the cheapest brand new sealed on ebay and on amazon is $70 only $10 more than this. Not worth it for reselling but it's the cheapest around

Solution: http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Quick-Charge-Kit/dp/B009NAVOMG and http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Rechargeable-Battery-2-Pack/dp/B0069EB9CY

Buy an extra battery. Keep swapping the batteries when one dies.

I was very disappointed In this controller. It looks really cool but I played through mass effect 3 earlier this year right after getting the halo 4 controller late last year and the left analog stick was constantly drifting just slightly to the left.

Shepard always was creeping very slowly to the left. It was super annoying. Didn't have that problem with the white controller from the skylanders Black Friday wal mart bundle.
Is the Halo controller a transforming D pad or just a normal one?
Transforming. Very nice controller btw.
I saw a couple for 30 on clearance at a local Walmart 2 weeks ago. After I saw this post I tried to go back and get one but it was alrdy gone :(
I wish any Walmart near me had decent clearance like that.

No suprise my local store failed to fill my order. Typical best buy fail. :booty:

Now I have to decide if I want one bad enough to give walmart business...

I have http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Charge-B...1?ie=UTF8&qid=1363364104&sr=8-1&keywords=nyko
and it works great. You need the Nyko battery packs, not the MS ones.

I have the Halo 4 console and one of my controller does the same thing, which sucks. I also have a Scuf halo controller.
