Is there some sort of trick to the air duct on the sword base. You know the one in the top floor, that leads up to a hole where you can see the other side of the map. It doesnt seem to matter if im trying to shoot someone as i go in it, or trying to shoot someone as they are trying to come up it, i always die. But its like they shoot me before i can even see there heads.
Right now the only thing i like to play is swat. Just tried to play multiteam but i really hate ARs. They take forever to kill someone. It just sucks when you shoot someone 3-4 times in the face in swat, and they done die, but they end up killing you after. I know ive already talked about that a few times, but it really gets annoying. I bet i average at least 5 kills per game or more that i get screwed out of.
It's just timing and how the camper in the yellow lift room is positioned. Sometimes going in with the magnum is good because the RoF is a bit faster than the DMR, you can also try going in backwards if you think the guy is in the left corner (most common corner to camp) going up. Otherwise, i've played SWAT games on swordbase where 1 guy camped the room most of the match and we just ran around skirmishing with the other team. 3 v 4. This is also true to the red lift. I think I misread your post. Go in, and shoot as soon as you come out in the direction you think the camper is hiding. Sometimes, just turning a corner and blind firing at head level will get you some lucky kills...but it will give away your location if no one is there.
As for the AF, it's not everyone's wpn but I wouldn't mind having it instead of my magnum for SWAT on some maps (I didn't think AF spawned on SWAT game mode). Burst fire does wonders until you close the gap then just lay on the trigger for full auto. Also ppl have theories about if the AF works when you aim for the head or not. Most ppl say due to the random shooting pattern you net more hits if you aim for center mass than a lucky shot to the head.
