Got my 7 discs last week (3 Eng Only, 4 Dual Lang.) My only gripe for Dual Lang is the spine titles, as the french is written in the opposite direction like the UK Discs.

English Only:
Accepted
Ray
The Scorpion King

Dual Language:
Children of Men
MallRats
Serenity (Spine only says Serenity at least)
Being John Malkovich

inetvideo.com has now a promotion on their movies where shipping is free for orders over 49.99 going to USA.

This means we can save more money on their HD DVDs!!!!

Alpha Dog (Combo HD DVD and Standard DVD) 1 $5.99 $5.99
Being John Malkovich (HD DVD) 1 $5.99 $5.99
Dune (HD DVD) 1 $7.99 $7.99
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (HD DVD) 1 $5.99 $5.99
Jarhead (HD DVD) 1 $5.99 $5.99
Serenity (HD DVD) 1 $5.99 $5.99
The Jerk (HD DVD) 1 $5.99 $5.99
What Dreams May Come (HD DVD) 1 $7.99 $7.99

Total of $51.92 shipped (free shipping), averages to $6.49 each.

There were a bunch more that I wanted, but I was able to pare it down to this list, half of which I consider keepers, and a half of which I haven't seen yet (of which I hope/expect some are keepers).

Thanks OP. Picked up:

Accepted (Combo)
Breach (Combo)
Evan Almighty (Combo)
Heroes Season 1 (HD DVD)
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (Combo)

All together was $55.95 with the free shipping (shipping otherwise would have been $23.90). Bit on Heroes because of the free shipping. I've spent way too much today with this sale along with the 20% off at Deep Discount...time for a break

thanks a ton OP, picked up
The 40-Year-Old Virgin (Unrated)
The Deer Hunter
Carlito's Way
Spartacus
Mallrats
Dune
Born on the Fourth of July

total = $53.68
Bastards. :wall:

Time to shoot them an email and see if they'll cut me a break on the shipping.
Let me know how that goes, I made 3 separate orders last week and shipping was such a bitch, wouldn't mind if they gave some of us a break.

Yeah, but a lot of the HD-DVDs that were $5.99 last week are more expensive this week. depending on what you ordered, it could even out.

I managed to get through and snag these HD DVDs:

-Balls of Fury
-Breach
-Eastern Promises
-Smokin' Aces
-The Break-Up
-The Matador

All for $51.94. Not too shabby. Breaks down to around $8.65 per HD DVD. There were so many more I wanted to get but I already had em' all on regular DVD.

I also got HD DVD I am Legend the other day from Deep Discount for $14.xx after the extra 20% off.

Picked up:
12 Monkeys (never seen it, but heard it was good)
Dead Silence
Billy Madison
Casino
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (never seen it, but heard it was also good)
Friday Night Lights
Seabiscuit (once again, never saw)
The Rundown

All for 53.92 shipped, not too shabby.
i really need to find a dvd tower for all these movies... im running out of space
Just get an bookshelf. Plenty of room with those.

You could also return to the wrestling thread. ;)

It's so strange that all I ever hear is how everyone wants to get rid of all their HD DVD stuff and just slams it. Then when a sale like this happens they just get gobbled up and the site can't even handle it.

Makes me wonder if this is being used as an ebay type thing. Semi-Hoarders or something like that.

I'm at about 50 Hd's right now and there's probably about 10 more I'm really even interested in. I was looking at this site a week ago and it was about 30 shipping so I didn't bite then. I'm short on money but I think I might have to get them now.

For you HD supporters, get em while they're hot! For you possible resellers, don't clear these out and try to jack them up. We already lost the war don't put salt in the wounds!

Here's my order:

- 12 Monkeys
- Balls of Fury
- End of Days
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
- Smokey and the Bandit
- The Jerk
- Timecop
- What Dreams May Come
Total: $53.92

I'm pretty happy with my haul. I originally had different selections, comprised mostly of movies I had already seen, but I decided to order some that I had never seen before instead.

Like a lot of other people have already said, I think I am getting pretty close to completing my HD DVD collection. It's been a fun ride.

Man I'm really pissed!! I'm trying to contact them and get my order sorted out but apparently they left early on Friday and don't appear to work the weekends so it would seem that I'm royally screwed since the deal ends tomorrow. I put my order in a couple of hours or so before the freaking free shipping deal went up... I spent 36.70 on shipping :bomb: to only see that an hour or two later they started a promotion to make it free. So I'm trying to get them to help me out here because I really don't want to cancel the whole order and then re-order it to get the free shipping since some of the HD-DVD's I ordered are out of stock now but I will if I have to...

Oh and how good are they with notifying you when your item has been shipped and stuff? Their account login feature doesn't seem to really have any point since you can't track your shipment or see it being processed or anything... lol

Anyways, here's my list:

The Host
Waist Deep
The Nutty Professor / Nutty Professor II - The Klumps (2 PACK)
The Mummy
The Mummy Returns
The Scorpion King
The Fast and the Furious
2 Fast 2 Furious
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
The Deer Hunter
Half Baked
I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry
Timecop
Doom
The Bourne Ultimatum
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Total = $117.74 + shipping.... (154.44)

Hmm... Looks like free shipping was UP TO June 8, rather than through. Just tried to check out and they're trying to charge me about $20 for shipping. Guess that saves me $60.

Same for me. I was kind of pissed after sorting through everything and finally finding the movies I wanted. When I went to checkout, they wanted $20 shipping. This was around 12:30 AM Sunday morning. Oh well........

Are you guys sure the sale is actually off? On the first screen you come to it says that you will be charged for shipping, but on the next screen it gives you free shipping if your order is over $50.

I haven't tried it myself to make sure, but I just thought I would offer that little tidbit.

Yeah, me too. My order is around 77.00 and they're giving me 24.00 shipping all the way through to confirmation page. The banner on the front of their website though still says free shipping to USA.

Maybe they had too many sales and stopped it?

May have to give them a call tomorrow. Oh well, at least I have 77.00 to go spend. : )

My order was over $50 and i didn't get an option for free shipping, only $20 for shipping. Like someone else said, the free shipping must have been UNTIL the 8th, not through the 8th.

And as someone else said, good, that just saved me some money i probably shouldn't spend.

I can't get the free shipping either. But I guess its good, because I'm just picking titles now that I wouldn't have bought if they weren't $5.99.

Shit with all the movies i've bought in the last 2 weeks i can't remember what i have on order. I've been waiting till i receive them to put them in my folders... bah!

haha same here, I just wish iNetVideo had a quicker response time so I/we could all get this free shipping fiasco sorted out. I probably spent about $200+ on HD-DVD's doubling my current collection in the past two weeks lol. I just need to find a good price for the Mission Impossible HD-DVD boxset since DeepDiscount is no longer carrying it and iNetVideo doesn't have it either.

It said shipping for me was $16 until I got to the final page and it automatically took it off. This was today the 8th.

Just bought a few minutes ago...with free shipment. Didn't choose the Paypal payment method. Anyhow, bought 26 HD-DVDs for $175.74 for an average of $6.26 a title. I think that I'm about done with my collection....who knows though.

Picked up:

Billy Madison
Doom
Fletch
Happy Gilmore
The 40-Year-Old Virgin
The Rundown
Van Helsing
Total $51.93
(Got free shipping at the end!)

I ordered 8 more last night. The free shipping was too good of a deal to pass up even if some of the movies were 7.99. I keep telling myself not to buy more of these movies but its hard not to at $5.99

Balls of Fury
Breach
Fast And The Furious
2 Fast 2 Furious
Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift
Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas
I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry
You, Me and Dupree

i read earlier in the thread that some people are getting the french writing on the cases.

this is probably going to be a noob question but im assuming those people ordered from the canadian site and that if you order from the us site and that if i place an order on the us site that all my movies will be all english covers.

if someone could shed some light on it then that would be helpful

No, you will still be receiving many movies with Canadian English/French covers. It's a Canadian store you are ordering from. In any case, that is what I have heard from this thread and others.

I spent about $200 because of the free shipping deal they offered though. Should be pretty sweet opening up my packages! :D

ordered from the u.s. site and from my first order these had french/english titles:

40 year old virgin
children of men
fear and loathing in las vegas

these did not:
chronicles of riddick
serenity

I picked up:

An American Werewolf in London
Breach
Children of Men
Cinderella Man
Fearless
Smokin' Aces
The Chronicles of Riddick

With the free shipping it came out to $51.93. Just made it in time too, ordered around 11:30.

Upgrading my CoM and CoR and adding a few more to the HD-DVD collection. :)
Ah, another Fletch fan. Awesome. I would pick it up, but I already have the Jane Doe Edition on DVD.
Can I borrow your towel? My car just hit a water buffalo.

I think Fletch was the first HD DVD I ever bought. Well worth the purchase.

It seems like the big thing is the combo formats are almost always normal US versions and the standard HD DVDs are almost always English/Francais. At least I've ordered enough HD DVDs from them now that none really stand out lol. The worst part is that is on the side of the case which just loods odd.

Is the PQ better than reviewed?
